Mr. Coffee - Tea Café 2.4L Iced Tea Maker - Black

I love this iced tea maker, and have made several pitchers of iced tea. It is very easy to use, and you just "set it and forget it." Long ago, I had an earlier version of the Mr. Coffee iced tea maker, and I used it all the time and wore it out. I bought a replacement, but that one had a plastic smell and taste to it - one that was the single tower type from 10-20 years ago. So, I stopped using that one and made my tea using the pitcher and basket, heating water in the tea kettle and standing at the kitchen counter with the timer....very tedious. So glad I saw this newer version and decided to get it since I had a gift card. Best decision I have ever made. Now, I have read the reviews and a number of people mentioned the thinness of the glass pitcher and possible easy breakage. Since I can be a bit careless with breakable items, I am using the old pitcher from long ago, with no problem as it is the same height and fits. Best thing of all, no plastic smell or taste. Wish I had bought this sooner. PS, I am getting some rewards points for this review, but it has not influenced my rating at all.

This iced tea maker can make whatever kind of tea you desire, from bags or leaves, since it has a basket filter included. You can also select the strength you desire, as well. The pitcher is not made of plastic so there is no staining to worry about when cleaning it. The only drawback might be storage, since it is a bit bigger than the older version, but it's a great product.

This is our second of these. We make a lot of iced tea. Our old carafe broke, so we bought a new unit. Weirdly, it's cheaper to buy the whole thing than JUST the pitcher. Anyway, it's reliable and fast, and makes the tea exactly how we like it every time. Which the pitcher was more durable. It's such thin glass.

i enjoyed this tea maker. it was easy to set up and used. just pick your tea to brew, set the water and ice, and press the button and y our done.

I wanted an ice tea maker with a glass pot. This one is exactly what I wanted. And the price was much less than some other brands! I love it.

Does a terrific job making home brewed ice tea all year. Sturdy glass pitcher and easy to use. Highly recommend.

Make a tea or coffee in short order with K-Pods or with loose leaves or grind in the included brewing basket. Other reviews speak of the result not being hot enough for their liking, but personally I think the heat is perfect.
