Reviews

Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the compact size and extra reach of the 2.0x Teleconverter Lens. It allows users to zoom in without significantly impacting the aperture, making it a great addition to their 70-200mm lens. However, some users have expressed concerns about its compatibility, as it only works with specific Sony E-Mount lenses.

    Tiny but mighty

I bought 'Mighty Mouse' to add onto my Sony FE 200-600mm lens to take closer shots of ky astrophotography. Take a llok at the moon shot!

Double the focal length. 1/10 the cost and weigh

This 2 X Teleconverter really helped bring subjects closer with minimal if any noticeable loss in sharpness.

    cheaper than a new lens

I bought this converter for my Sony Gmaster 70-200 f2.8. I was considering buying the Sony Gmaster 100-400 f4-5.6 but ultimately decided on the 70-200 and then bought the 2x converter. hopefully you realize that the 2x converter causes you to lose 2 stops of light so it turns my f2.8 into a f5.6 when i have it on my lens. if you are outside in sunlight it's not a problem, but indoors with good lighting it hurts but is manageable. in the end it roughly equivocates me owning the 100-400 but at only 20% the cost. this is a good option if you don't want to spend the money on both lenses or if you want to turn your 100-400 into a 200-800 but you probably can only use that in bright sunlight. BE AWARE: this only fits these two lenses that i have referred to here! no other lenses work with it!
