Easy Set Up But Low/Limited Volume & High Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for an older smart tv so that Bluetooth headphones could be used to listen to it privately. Pros: it is both a transmitter and a receiver, it includes a red/white Y-style RCA cable adapter as well as a standard aux plug, it charged quickly with the included usb charging cable, it has a separate power button, and it was very easy to set up and pair. Cons: the volume was very limited and low, requiring the volume on the Aluratek and both the headphones and tv/cable to be at max to listen comfortably (loud volume is impossible. Audio quality is just passable. Additionally, the battery life is unknown and the price is quite high. If this unit was priced at $25 or less, it would be much more reasonable; $42.50 is really an exorbitant amount particularly for an item that lacks high quality audio fidelity.

TV listening with the TV muted.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked but lacked the range to keep the connection when I went into next room to grab a snack or watch the news while eating in the kitchen. I had to buy a dedicated transmit Bluetooth and it has excellent range.

For my head phones
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did not last 60 days! But while it was working, it was great! I bought another one! Hopefully this one will last 90 days!

Zero issues with one device
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing worked great for about 3 months. I had two BOSE QC ultras synced to it. Almost no delay at all. In fact, I didn't even know that having a delay was a common problem with transmitters until I bought a different one, that one was horrible. What I did have a problem with was after a few months it desynced one of the headphones. After it did that I could only sync one at a time. Both of my headsets would not pair at the same time. bought a new transmitter and it worked great

Not good for my needs
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to use with a guitar practice amp so I could use wireless earbuds instead of wired earphones. There is too much latency in these. After I hit a note there is almost a full second before I hear it in the earbuds. There is also not a lot of volume to these. They would be alright for just listening to music but they don’t meet my requirements.

It's not discrete
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought I could lay this down somewhere around the TV but the fact that it has to be manually activated (not major) and that the light does not stop from blinking (major), is a reason I'd recommend someone not to run out and get this item. Sound works fine, when it finally pairs.

Aluratek Review - bluetooth wireless Audio
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the one piece that made it possible to play my music from my phone to my car. My phone couldnt connect with a cord. Once it connects, it works great! However I dont like that it disconnects between uses as time (sometimes it does not) and I have to go back to my iphone to bluetooth connect it. I use it in my car.

Works ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to sync my wireless headphones to an exercise bike. The only issue I have is that the volume control doesn't get loud enough. When I Bluetooth to my phone the wireless headphones have plenty of volume so the problem isn't with the headphones. Overall they work and are easy to sync. The volume is the only issue.

Lots of latency on transmitter mode
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works well as long as you don't mind the latency, which is almost a deal breaker for me. I tried using it with the headphone out on my guitar amp with my Bose Bluetooth hedphones and the latency makes it unusable for that purpose. For listening to playback from my mixer works okay.

Pretty Good
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was ok but caught a short not too long after. Definitely a cheap option if temporary. Not good on the longevity aspect. You truly get whay you pay for with this product. It does have amazing charge life but the aux cord or the device itself started malfunctioning and wouldn't stay communicating with access points. The bluetooth part was great

Troublesome sometimes but works when it connects
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is trouble but once it connects it works great. I use for tv so I don't bother my neighbors with a Bose headphone. I have to play with it a little bit turning it on and off to get it to connect. My biggest gripe is that it turns off when the tv turns off and it won'r reconnect automatically when you turn the tv back on. I always have to reset bluetooth

Great when working
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this so I could play my 3DS with wireless earbuds or connect them to my laptop. I tested them out before I left the store to confirm that it would work, but after a few days, it started taking longer and longer for it to actually connect to the earbuds. Sometimes I have to turn it off and on 5 to 10 times before it connects. When it finally connects, it's a good quality with no delay.

Not quite perfect!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.:I think for my needs and I believe this product wasn’t what I needed. I was using it to pair hearing aids To listen to content from my tv. I could not get the.Alurtec to fully pair with my hearing aids. I purchased a different transmitter that is manufactured for my particular hearing aids. And that worked great! Maybe I could of got the alurtec working with more time and patience. Wasn’t terrible.

It "worked", but not the way I wanted it to!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The reason for my rating is simply this: the item DID NOT WORK for the application I purchased it for! I purchased it to "interface" a CD player to my (new) car's Bluetooth-equipped audio system as it doesn't have a CD player (do new cars have them these days?). After struggling to get the Car's Bluetooth System TO EVEN ** RECOGNIZE ** the unit, I decided to "bag it". Will I return it for a refund? NO, as I'm sure I can Use It Somewhere Else with Something Else. Let me conclude with this: in TRANSMIT mode, ** IT DID CONNECT AND WORK ** with an "external" Bluetooth receiver unit, so I know it is "functional" In Certain Uses. Unfortunately, it doesn'tappear to work

Had higher expectations
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hoping for a better experience but I had high expectations. I purchased this to connect to my guitar amplifier so I could use wireless headphones. Unfortunately there is quite a bit of latency and it doesn't work well for this purpose. Watching TV or any video for that matter would also be impacted by the latency. Should be fine to just listen to music though.

Works good, looses signal and difficult to setup
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great when its connected. Good sound. Only difficulty that I have had is that sometimes to doesn't connect to my radio. When your trying to pair it, it can be hard to connect too or my equipment doesn't want to connect to it. This may be my own phone and radio that is having issues but if both cant connect, its more likely this audio receiver.

Procrastinating another purchase.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to buy some type of Bluetooth air buds or headphones to make this work, so I have not used it yet. My idea was to sink it to my phone, and use my iPhone’s wired ear buds. That didn’t work.

Bluetooth output works with audio lag
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to give a projector that does not have native bluetooth in its system the ability to connect tova sound bar wirelessly. It worked, but there is a huge audio lag, which makes it not ideal for watching movies.

Pretty good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This seems to work well. The range is pretty good when it's receiving. The only reason I gave it three stars is because there have been a few times it wouldn't connect. I had to "forget the device" from my phone, then pair it again. For whatever reason there were issues pairing it again. Not a huge deal, and 95% of the time I've used it it's been good.
