Great Bass but Bluetooth issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very impressed with the deep bass in my 2.1 setup, I have two Amazon Echo’s 2nd Gen connected to the Echo Sub. Playing Amazon Music sounds awesome, rich highs & nice deep bass. Bluetooth, unfortunately falls flat, it actually sounds worse than when just paired to one Echo. So when you create a stereo Sub Pair the Echo’s are split to left & right & the Bluetooth connection then is in mono on only 1 Echo & no sub. I contacted Amazon & they stated this is a known issue, only the listed streaming stations will work for stereo sound from a Stereo Sub Pair. The agent said he would escalate the issue to the development team.

Okay, not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In trying to reduce my living room audio footprint I decided to ditch a full size receiver, some high end bookshelf speakers and an cheaper subwoofer. I didn’t expect having two echos and this sub would be a comparable replacement audio-wise but I was willing to make the trade off between sound quality for visual appearance and convienice. The subwoofer is a good add as even with the two echos connected in stereo mode, there is just not enough low end to make the music feel like it actually fills the room. Adding the sub does help fill the room and turns the echo system into an adequite stereo solution for a living room. The sub itself is sub-par in that it doesnt get very low as it seems to play some mid-range; you can actually hear voices coming from the sub I which you should not hear at sub level frequencies. Not sure why it doesn’t filter out higher frequencies but I’d believe this is part of the reason it doesn’t get as low as I’d expect it to be able to. Overall satisfied with it but rated at 3 stars as compared against my previous sub I paid about $100 for (8” 200 watt) it doesn’t even come close to it sound wise. Given you can get better base from a entry level sub for substantially less that is a let down. I did only pay about $130 for the echo sub though with the two echo and sub bundle around Christmas ($250 total for two echos and the sub) so in my mind it is at least still in the ballpark of an entry level sub which helps make up for the less than steller performance.

If I can only get it to sync with the speakers
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've watch several videos on how to sync the sub with the speakers in order to get the full base richness of the speakers but after three weeks of trying with no luck I may return this to the store. I will continue to try and get them to sync this weekend if not I will return. The sound is great without the sub so it's a win-win!

MD
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The subwoofer has a nice sleek look about it, and the sound though not overpowering does make its presence felt. Also the set-up (with the assistance of Amazon Tech) went smoothly.

Decent Subwoofer that connect to Echo Studio
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good subwoofer that works with Alexa. The set-up can be tricky and it doesn’t always connect via Bluetooth.

Adds little
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 2 echo studios and the sub set up with my fire TV, i feel as though it adds little to the movie/tv watching experience. Musically it adds a nice low end, but it is hardly worth the frustration of the weekly disconnect it seems to have.

Pretty good subwoffer
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I dont really hear the bass as much as I want to. Hard to control how powerful this subwoofer can be but it does make the Echo studio sound better

Don’t waste your money
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly… it’s not worth the $$. You barely get any bass (even when it’s on MAx). And depending on what you listen to , you may hear NO difference.I’d save the $$ if I had a choice.

Not worth the money for me
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not as good as I expected, but still good. I ended up returning it as I got 2 Echo Studios and didn't think the sub was worth the money...

Bland but better experience
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall average with meh subwoofer but if you want to add a bit of base to your Alexa set up it’s not bad.

The base isn't low enough
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a profound hearing impairment. I only hear base tons, but for some songs, the base in this woofer isn't low enough, so not too thrilled about it.

good addition but..
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound response and a good addition to my 1st gen Alexa, the only problem is that when using the sub you will not bw able to use the BT remote because the sub is using the 1 BT port that the 1st gen alexa has.

Average
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Same as the echo plus, music doesn’t sound as good as apples HomePod and I couldn’t use it as a speaker for the tv

Decent Sub...Not Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to connect. Rounds out the bass on my Echo 2nd Generation, but ultimately not worth the price.
