Great Antenna - I now get all local channels.

I have nothing but good things to say about this antenna. First, it solved my dilemma of local channels. I pay Cox $90/month for just internet, but my wife wanted local channels 12, 15, Fox, 3, etc., and I did not want to spend the extra $70/month for something that is free, but our indoor antenna was not getting a good signal from South Mountain. So, I bought this Clearstream 4Max antenna and mounted it to a roof peak about 20 feet high. Problem solved. The install was a bit more involved than a standard install since I had to route the wire down the side of the house, through an existing cable hole in the stucco, then through a cable channel I already had in my family room. But as soon as I removed the old antenna and connected the Clearstream we had a perfect signal on every local channel. My wife is delighted. The coax connection outside is super simple – just screw the provided 50-foot coax to the antenna and run it into the house. Then on the TV side there is a powered connector which provides the antenna IN and TV OUT which is powered by USB. Most TVs have a USB power out. But they also provide a 3-way splitter which can send the antenna signal to up to 3 TVs and I want to connect two more TVs in other rooms, but here’s where it gets a little complicated. I already have COX internet on the interior coax throughout the house, so to use the existing wiring for the antenna signal I’m going to have to do some reconfiguring at the coax junction box outside but we’ll leave that for another day. Bottom line: great product and they give you every thing you need for a basic install.

Love it. Great range, despite living in a hilly and wooded part of North Seattle. Really liked being able to install it in the attic, which avoided the need to get up on the angled roof and deal with outdoor maintenance down the road. Made 'cutting the cord' super easy, and now we get our football on the weekends without the price tag that comes with cable!

Outdoor Antenna For Receiving Local Stations

I mounted this antennae outside on my patio enclosure roof; used the app to locate surrounding tv station towers and aimed the unit. I had the GEEK squad come to my home to setup the TV and show me how to navigate the system, which turned out to be very easy, even for me. I have received a total of 82 stations. I used the antennae about a week and after I was sure all was working okay I called my cable supplied and stopped service; saving about $65/month.

The antenna surprised me with how well it works in a questionable location--in an attic under a sloped roof. It has to go through wood and concrete tiles. There are trees and a two story house in the direction of distant transmitters. Picture quality is very good. Assembly and installation were easy.

After trying all the different types and brands of antennas, THIS is the one I wish I'd bought from the beginning. I will say, every other antenna I tried was decent for the price, but this is what to get if you want a good connection, plenty of channels, and easy to install! (My advice would be to follow the instructions and you will not be disappointed!)

Great product. Pulling in 65 free channels with this antenna. Mounted outside to the right of my gable vent. Downloaded antenna point app to locate the most cluster of tv towers within a 70 mile radius of my home. I can not recommend this antenna enough to people. Well worth the money. Very easy install.

Installed this antenna at my northern Wisconsin summer cabin surrounded by tall pine trees and after re-scanning received 18 channels. It was easy to assemble and lightweight for easy placement on an existing exterior utility pole.

I've used individual tv antennas in past and manage to get 20-30 channels with those but after I moved I couldn't get anything. After installing this I now get 80 plus channels on 3 TVs. Antenna was installed 8 months ago. Very happy

Where I live, the signal is 45 miles away and on the opposite side of 8000 foot high mountains. Getting some of the channels are hard to get. No indoor antenna will cut it. Sometimes, if you are gonna do something, you have to do it right. This big boy got the job done. Easy to setup, and didnt need the inline amp. Top tip cord cutters, find where the cable/sat provider tapped into your house and put the cable line from the antenna into the input on the splitter they used to get their signal into your house.
