I tried many of the headphones within the price range of the AirPods Max before purchasing them. The first time I put a pair on my head the sound quality was simply astounding. I listen to a variety of music, but first I'm a Rock & Roll boy. I listened to all my favorite bands from the 60s & 70s, when I was growing up in the SF Bay Area. The AirPods rocked! I also like classical music, so I listened to some of my favorites and the experience was impressive. I used to go to Broadway Musicals when they came through Portland. One of my favorites is Phantom of the Opera. Listening to the Phantom with the AirPods Max was almost like being in the theater. Another thing that has impressed me about these headphones is the build quality. I purchased my first pair just over two years ago and nothing has broken on them. How can anything not break? Apple used a lot of metal when designing the Max, so the quality is far above any of the headphones I tried. I have medium to large ears and nothing I had tried really felt comfortable, especially after a few hours of wear. I only like over the ears, as opposed to on the ear. The AirPods Max fit over my ears completely, and I wear them comfortably for hours. I use nothing but Apple products. I have an iPhone, Air Pad, MacBook Pro, and Apple TV. The AirPods works seamlessly with them all. The new USB-C AirPods Max headphones was a disappointment for a lot of fans because of the lack of upgrades Apple could have done but didn't. Apple kept the H1 chip in them when I had expected at least an upgrade to H2, and possibly a new H3. Why? Who knows. The other disappointment is many fans were expecting a water resistance upgrade. Why Apple decided to keep these basically the same is up for debate. Apple did change the charging port to USB-C from the old Lightning port. It's a nice change for those tired of having to interchange cords. Apple finally changed to the new USB-C because they were basically forced to by some European government/federation. The new colors is a nice upgrade. I opted for the Midnight color and they look really cool. The old gray option was just that - old. I use these to watch TV and the sound is amazing. I have premium headphones designed specifically for TV/movie watching, and the AirPods Max sound so much better. If you're looking for a premium pair of headphones, I encourage you to take a serious look at the AirPods Max.

I love these headphones! They’re beautiful, I love the color. I also love how loud they sound, I thought my other pair of headphones were loud but not according to these. This is my very first time trying the noise cancellation feature and I must say that I’m enjoying it. I love when I go out that i can just press the feature and not hear anything. It feels like im in a whole other world when i put these on. This is also my first pair of airpod maxes, I’ve wanted these for a long time. I’m glad I waited long enough for them to bring out a purple color. The price could be fairer though, I don’t think anyone should be paying over $500 for any pair of headphones.

I don’t regret buying these at all, they work great!!the noise cancellation is my favorite feature for sure and they don’t feel as heavy on my head as I expected. I also got the black ones and loveeee the color. You can also customize them which I think it pretty cool as well.as for the battery life I don’t really have the charge them that often maybe like once every couple of days, barley even that.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. She loves the sound quality, connectivity, the noise cancellation, and especially the color. Fast shipping. Would buy again.

Most definitely cancel the outside noise, the size of it is perfect and the colors are so nice and it don’t easily scratch or nothing

Apple has really nice quality headphones and i love the feel of them. Pretty color purple, only wish they were a darker purple color especially on the head band part of the head phones. Overall very nice!

And if I need to stay a bit aware of what’s happening around me, the Transparency mode is perfect. With a quick switch, I can hear my surroundings while still listening to my music, which is incredibly useful when I’m waiting for something or working in a public place. Surprisingly, the AirPods Max have even held their own in the gym. While they’re larger than typical workout earbuds, they stay secure thanks to the snug fit of the ear cushions, and they’re surprisingly lightweight. The sound quality is motivating, too. Whether I’m running on the treadmill or lifting weights, the rich, immersive audio keeps me pumped up throughout my workout. And since they’re built to handle sweat and movement, they’ve become my go-to for fitness as well. Honestly, I was a bit hesitant about the price at first, but after using them, I can see why the AirPods Max are in a league of their own. Apple didn’t just create headphones; they crafted an experience that enhances every part of my day. Whether I’m traveling, studying, or at the gym, these headphones make every activity feel elevated and enjoyable. If you’re considering them, I’d say go for it—the AirPods Max in Midnight are worth every penny and are bound to impress.

I bought these headphones as a last minute splurge for myself and they are worth it! It's a beautiful lavender color, not purple. The noise cancellation is exceptional, better than the Bose and Airpods 2 & 3 that I own. What I love most is the fact that it easily toggles between my iphone and ipad automatically. This one is a keeper!

These are excellent. Love the color and that it’s USB-C vs. the lightning that I have. The sound and ANC is great too. So easy to connect straight from the box too! I’m all Apple so it fits well in my Appleverse!

I really like the color and the style. However they are a little heavy and can hurt your head if you’re not used to it. The quality is sound is awesome and it is noise canceling which is a plus. They do move if you use them while chewing, so I Dont suggest to eat with them on. Overall they are nice, I like them.

I love love them ! Honestly the color is so beautiful and mesmerizing. I especially love the way it has the button to press so you can block out outside noise.

These headphones are great, their noise cancellation is a key highlight for them. I really enjoy the color and the look of them. The only thing I don’t like about them is that after use the area around my ears are extra sweaty.

The color and sound quality are absolutely incredible. True to Apple form they are perfect. Had one issue pairing them the second day, but they had picked up a different device.
