    Shipped me one not refurbished by Geek Squad

    This should be an amazing product but the set that I was shipped was not actually refurbished by Geek Squad as advertised. I was surprised when the box was sticky, dirty, and has masking tape in it. When unboxed I noticed that the lightning cable was missing. The condition of the headphones seemed decent (only two very small scratches) at first glance. When I went to pair it to my phone it showed that they were still paired to the previous owner’s Apple ID!!! Not only that, but their name was etched into the headphones. Shocking and certainly not the kind of quality control that I would expect from a device that was certified to be refurbished by Geek Squad.

    After using the refurbished AirPods Max for 40 days, my Apple devices (iPhone and iPad) suddenly cannot find and connect to the headphone.

    Never got the product. Someone has already gotten to the headset before delivering it to me , Still going back and forth to get my refund, giving me the hardest time and lastly give me a respond of , take care of it on my own with the local law enforcement. lol

    disappointment!! I bought this product and I received some used headphones with that shipment I felt that they had disrespected me since they were extremely dirty, they were disgusting just by looking at them, it was not worth it for such a high price

    they stopped working after a few months they only turn on when on the charger and still don’t connect to bluetooth

    The airpods came dirty and reaking of the last owners cologne / perfume. The charging cord was not neat, and taped together. Will be returning these asap. Bestbuy should be ashamed of themselves. Nothing was clearly done to refurbish these.

    Received my order just to open the box that wasnt taped or had plastic around it or anything and my item was not in the box its a cheap replica of the headphones and i am very very disappointed in this issue

    This was not a good purchase. The previous owner's iCloud was still on it. It had scratches, dirt and everything on the covers. The Airpods had some scratches on it too. I don't think it was even a refurbished piece. The earcups were bad too.

    The box wasn’t clean and had marks all over it. The airpod cover is dirty and airpods have scratches on them

    Let me start I bought then refurbished one so that probably where i went wont, but i just got 5/30/24 went to use them did sound amazing but after 2min in only one side work then it would disconnect and kept on doing over and over got them for the gym and reunion my whole work very disappointing. If survide by geek squat my head phone should b working i didnt get 2 min to enjoy it

    The AirPods were still connected to the previous owner’s Apple ID. With no way to trace the original owner, it’s impossible to get it wiped from the device, as AirPod Max’s only allow one Apple ID at a time. A factory reset can’t even do the job. The manager at Best Buy said that these AirPods should have never passed the Geek Squad inspection. A huge bummer because they were in PERFECT condition - not a single scratch or dent on them. Do better Geek Squad :(

    Device was rebuilt with non apple products and was unable to connect to find my iphone so when my daughter miss placed the device I went to best buy and they pretty much said I lost out on my money because it was out of warranty. So because they put in bad parts which didn’t allow them to be tracked I cant find the headphones

    Do not buy Refurbished AirPod Max 1. Most of the time it still link to someone Apple account. 2. Engineering flaw - water condensation build up inside the headphones 3. Despite all the ANC, static noise/popping sound. You ask Apple to repair/replace your headphones. Apple won’t replace/repair your headphones (Even it’s still covered with 1 yr warranty)

    Please don’t waste your time buying a refurbished Apple product. The headphones were still paired to someone else’s Apple ID. I contacted Apple directly and they confirmed that there was no way for them or Best Buy to unpair the item, that has to be done by the original owner. They also verified that the original owner could see and track the location of the item under their Find My app. For this reason, such Apple products should not be re-sold as it is against Apple’s and I’m sure Best Buy’s privacy policy. I was uncomfortable knowing someone could track my location, so I returned them immediately!

    Bought these headphones for my daughter who is a NCAA D1 swimmer, for her pre-swim concentration and mental preparation, they lasted 4 months, before they stopped charging. Truly dissapointed. I appreciate Best Buy customer for allowing the return.

    Refurbished crap!!!! The headphones would not charge!! I had the correct charging equipment but the headphones were defective!!! Junk! Had to go and return them and buy a new full price AirPodsMax.

    Device was paired to another Apple ID. Cannot use. Been on the phone over three hours trying to figure out what to do. Best Buy has been zero help. Every time I buy an electronic from them, there seems to always be a catch whether it was my washer and dryer that didn’t work and I had to spend around 12 hours on the phone trying to get that sorted or something like this. The customer support sucks. I just keep getting referred to another person.

    Don’t buy refurnished! Apple says stolen

    Do NOT buy refurbished items from Best Buy! This item was not removed from the previous owners Apple ID. They are showing as stolen from Apple and Best Buy will not help me. Apple did all they could and Best Buy is playing a run around game. I get transferred to wrong depts, I get no help and most recently I was told they can not help me. So these headphones are going to stop working since apple thinks they are stolen. Maybe They will read this and actually help me. I have been trying for 3 days to resolve this. Horrible customer service!!!
