The speakers are awesome they sound amazing. The thing I found odd about this system is that they connect the audio through USB instead of the usual audio jack.

I have the comparison Klipsch 2.1 speakers. They are fantastic. Music is awesome and the bass puts it over the top . Movies are great in fact intense. GUESS WHAT, BOSE ARE BETTER.. The 2 Bose speaker are multi directional. It make movie sounds behind you to the side of you and right over the top of you. Very pricey but if you play games or intend to be watching movies more often on your computer the Bose are well worth the price.

I love these speakers...when they're turned on. The sound is great and the bass is booming. Make no mistake, these speakers will rattle the walls. The big drawback is that for some baffling reason, Bose chose to have them go on standby mode after about five minutes of non-use. You can't change the duration or turn off the "feature." They're supposed to turn back on after they detect a sound source, but they don't. This is really, really irritating and cheap $100 speakers don't have this "feature," so why should a premium speaker subject you to it? C'mon Bose! You're so weak.

The sound is incredible, I love the puck it's very easy to answer the phone one touch and the sounds stops, I like that feature as much as the reach sound of the speakers, I have to admit they are not cheap and I actually bought a different set of speakers, but I felt like the extra buck would be worth it and it was. Caution it takes a USB port connection so that can be a no, no but if you can afford the USB port then it's the way to go

Since I bought this for my 27 inch iMac, I don't even watch any of my movies in the living room anymore. My bedroom is my own personal theater with these speakers.

Why in the world would someone need something like this for their computer? That was what I asked myself until I installed it... If you have not bought a good speaker system for your computer/laptop, please buy this one. Save up, borrow from relatives, whatever, you will be so happy with this that the rest will not matter. Put on an old hole-ridden shirt and panhandle on the side of the road. Anything, just buy this thing!

Bose never lets you down! Quality!!!! I recommend this to all of my friends who are looking to make an investment in a sound system for their home office or computer system.

The price kept me away from purchasing this sound system for my PC sooner, but I could not resist after failing to fit an older THX-certified sound system that came with a former desktop to my current desktop. After set up, the simulated 5.1 sound was really surprisingly good and with Bose, you know the quality is there. This is my third Bose system and it did not disappoint.

Best value for a speaker system that give acceptable sound from a computer speaker system. I was looking for a speaker system that would let me enjoy music while working at my computer. While this speakers will not replace a dedicated audio system, they are clear and have good base.

I gave it as a gift to my husband for his b-day, he liked it a lot and thank me for an extraordinary gift. Excellent product!!!

They sound great and don't take up a lot of space.

I was pleasently surprised when I hooked these up. 2 small speakers, a small sub in a rather bulky enclosure, but the sound was amazing for the price. These can easily be used elsewhere without a problem. The 4 stars is because of the proprietary speaker cables and jacks. Everything has to be hooked up through the subwoofer. If the woofer fails, the entire system will not work.
