For the home, I recommend the Bose Home Speaker 500. It offers more power. Besides the Portable Smart Speaker, you may want to consider the Sonos Move for outdoor use. Bose offers the 360 surround sound. Sonos is a more boxy speaker, but offers a clear powerful sound. I own all three.

So… the very BEST bang for the Money is the Mini II Bose Bluetooth speaker! AND…. The little led light on top is permanently ON ( you can’t turn it off) which is a little odd and confusing).

Never will I buy a Wireless Bose Speaker again.

The sound might be good but the trouble with connecting, powering on, voice activation it’s just not worth the trouble having to sit here and unplug and plug the charger in to try and get it to turn on after charging it all night makes no sense. God forbid you take it out with you it’s a 70/30 chance that’ll it’ll even turn on and if it doesn’t then your outta luck. Never again will I get a Bose after having 3 speakers that all have the same issues.
