Great on Paper, Faulty in Execution

I want to like these. They sound pretty good (not QC Ultra or Airpods Pro good, but better than anything from Anker at least), the ANC is close-to-Ultra great, and they're so comfortable that I can sleep on them all night. However, I have several problems with connectivity and battery life. The buds would disconnect completely after about an hour of use. They simply go dead and you have to long-press them to turn them back on. Also, the battery life doesn't last as long as advertised. After one of those post-hour disconnections, I checked the charge level on the buds, and they were down to 70%. This is with volume at 10%, ANC on, flat EQ, baseline settings. Maybe I got a faulty unit. I want to like these buds, but they need to work out the bugs.

First of all I love the case and the battery life. The app is good too and like how you can customize the functionality of the touch buttons. The sound quality however is typical Bose. There is this EQ curve they tend to like which some people like and some don’t. I think there is a lot of Bluetooth “air” with this one. I do not generally recommend because for my set at least the right earbud kept losing connection. Pretty frustrating product overall.

Earbuds sound great. I really like them overall, great Earbuds, but unfortunately, i dont know what it was, but randomly, they would disconnect from my phone(samsung s24+)and then connect again. It did it a lot of time. On the box it said made for iPhone but works with android. Im guessing thats why they would disconnect.

      Hello Chris,

I'm happy that you find the earbuds great overall, especially the sound. The "Made for iPhone" and "Works with Android" are not indicators of the earbuds working better with iPhones than Android phones, they are just part of the packaging to make it clear that they can work with either Apple or Android devices. Please try our troubleshooting guide for help with the connection issues: https://bose.life/4im4o8N

I'm glad to hear you like the audio quality of your QuietComfort Earbuds! If you're having connection problems with the left earbud, one quick thing to try is rebooting your connected mobile device. If that doesn't help, also make sure that you're within 33ft (10m) of the connected Bluetooth device. If issues persist, our support team will be happy to help you further: https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US. Warm regards, Fiona M. - Bose Customer Support bose

I’m not impressed one bit the sound quality is foggy, even with the EQ they have trouble automatically connecting and keep playing music while in the case. Bose makes great speakers, but earbuds are not there thing I will be returning these as soon as possible and getting my Beats Studio buds back very ubset take them off the market the ultra ones are just as bad.do not purchase.

Hi William, I'm very sorry to hear you're not happy with your QuietComfort Earbuds' audio quality! The "foggy" audio you described doesn't sound normal, so do make sure your earbuds are being worn correctly. If the eartips or stability band sizes aren't ideal, this can lead to sub-par performance. Also, if the earbuds are having trouble connecting and disconnecting, I'd suggest a reset. Just touch and hold each earbud for 15 seconds until you hear a tone, then hold each earbud for 1 second to power them back on. If this doesn't help either, please contact our support team for further assistance before considering a return: https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US. Sound quality does not match the price. Cannot connect to more than two devices easily and does not transition on its own.

      Hello Levi,

It is possible to connect 2 devices to your earbuds thanks to the multipoint feature. This is useful to switch between two smartphones without disconnecting and reconnecting each time. If you want to know how to switch between devices, please follow these steps:
      1. Pause audio on your first mobile device.
      2. Play audio on your second mobile device.
The earbuds switch to the second device's audio stream.
