Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Makes great coffee but the maintenance is a little to much, the light to descale the machine comes on every 20 to 25 days also the filter should last 2 months and is asking to replace it after about 30 days sometimes the noise is a little excessive and I’m not sure why it changes, to me feels like an expensive coffee maker that is not going to last us long enough but I guess we will find that out later but the coffee that makes is great specially once you learn how to personalize your drinks

First day using it and already failing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this one after reading a lot of reviews, we were so exited to use it and the first time the capuchino was good but when you attempt to do a machiato or double capuchino then started to fail, the milk container can’t handle the weight of the milk so the machine keeps telling you that theres no milk (even when is already attached) so the machine abruptly stop and drop the coffee to the garbage and ask you to clean the milk frother, we tried different ways and ended up wasting too much coffee trying to make it work. So i will return this one and go with the breville, less plastic and looks more solid.

clumpy and thick frothing - not good

In less than a month, the milk is clumpy and thick and not frothing correctly. And of course, it's beyond the return period. I expect more from this expensive machine, especially owning a Perfecta in the past that lasted about 7 years.

The taste of the espresso itself really isn’t that good for how much this machine costs. Other than the convenience and ease of just pressing a button it’s just not that great tasting. I will say though, that the milk does froth up pretty good over other machines

Too foamy

The cleaning part is annoying I wish it was easier. You have to keep pressing buttons I never know how it works have to google process each time

Lot of issues and turn on error lights many time

The Magnifica Evo is equipped with Energy Saving features that cause the machine to shut down after 15 minutes; you can always disable this feature in the settings menu. The rinsing feature is designed so that you always have a fresh tasting cup of coffee every single time; this setting can not be disabled. We design our units with the customer in mind, but we understand some features may not be ideal to all.

Manage grinder expectations

Maybe if you’ve had similar machines in the past and understand sticking to one type of beans is the way to go then this is perfect. But if you like to try different beans and need to adjust the grinder all the time you might get frustrated like me who had to waste a few espresso shots to get to the right espresso taste when switching beans. I ended up wasting so much beans just finding the right taste every time I try something new or go back to the beans I like.
