Bad experience

Owned for 9 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a De’Longhi coffee machine in October 2024, and it stopped working within the warranty period. Despite the issue being clearly hardware-related, Best Buy refused to accept it for repair or replacement simply because I didn’t purchase the extra protection plan. The product is still covered by the manufacturer’s 1-year warranty, but Best Buy wouldn’t help and told me to contact the company directly. I expected better support from a major retailer. If you’re not planning to buy their extended warranty, don’t expect any meaningful help if something breaks. I won’t be buying appliances from Best Buy again.
