This receiver is an excellent AVR in every way. It takes a few days to play with all the settings but once you get it set up, wow, what an upgrade. Enough power to drive our Wharfedale Linton Heritage speakers. Highly recommend. We love it!

This thing is great. It’s power a whole house entertainment system. 6 sets of speakers, 1 center channel and a sub. I could even add another sub. If you have multiple speakers on zone 2, you might want to add an extra app for them to be louder.

I cannot say enough about this device. Originally I had purchased the Denon AVR-S760H 7.2 receiver but I did not realize it was underpowered for my needs. After taking it back, I decided to forego additional purchases until I could get a recommendation by an expert. I consulted with Best Buy in home services who, within minutes were able to recommend this device for my needs (Thank you Megan!). She was spot on. This receiver satisfies all of my audio (music and surround sound TV) needs, easily. Hits all speakers in every station of the house, and provides quality sound output without breaking the bank for cost. This thing can even accommodate 4 sub-woofers if you desire!!! Too many features to list however I highly recommend this device if you want a decent home setup for a good price and value!

Great replacement for the slightly defective X3700 we tried from open box. Best Buy was great to work with and helped me with the exchange/return to get the 3800. Great receiver. Heos is awesome. great power. very satisfied so far. Replaced an old Denon 3310ci receiver. what a difference!

The receiver has a lot of power with lots of options. The new interface is a big upgrade and easy to use. I can’t wait to add an external amplifier with the pre outs that’s available.

What can I say about this receiver this thing is over the top this is one bad mama jammer its so powerful easy to set up great remote runs all 9 of my speakers And subs with little Effort sounds great I ran the in room. calibration could not have been a more easier set up and made such a difference in how everything sounds Sounds like I'm at the movie theater

This receiver works very well. Smart enough to switch to the correct mode when different inputs are detects. Plenty of power for a full home theater system. Works well with KEF speakers. At the member sale price of $1200 it’s a great value.

More then enough power to keep up with my 7 speakers in the living room glad I went with the 3800 instead of the 2800

I was looking for an upgrade from my old amp and this 1 fills my needs. Great power and a feature that will set up a separate location that can run a separate program, music or whatever you wish.

Very powerful receiver. Almost identical product with very similar components as another brand at a fraction of the cost. All of the same software features and capability. Older styling, but bleeding edge capability.

Upgraded from a 10 year old Denon AVR-X2100 that has been flawless, wanted more power and features. Literally disconnected the old Denon and connected the new one. Same wires, speakers and devices. After playing at normal volume for a few hours new amp tripped on Protection Mode. (Flashing power light). Contacted Denon support who said it was my speaker wires. After telling them it was same exact speakers and wires for 10 years they then asked if it was plugged into a power strip (it was). Told me to plug directly into wall, which I did. Protection mode again after a few hours. Called Denon back, next they said it was overheating, it is on an open shelf. Not overheating. Finally told me to reset to defaults, which I did. Protection mode again. Returned to Best Buy and ordered another. Received, connected, and Protection mode again. Returned 2nd one to Best Buy and ordered Yamaha RX-A4A, its been flawless. My old Denon still works great. I did like Denon user interface better than Yamaha, but its no good if the amp doesnt work.
