As expected with all their products, Dyson continues to improve upon their own products and this time they’ve done it again with the new PH03 Purifier Humidify+Cool. The design is very similar to their previous model however it is what’s inside the purifier that really takes a leap in home and office air purification and humification. If you’re familiar with their most recent model, you’ll know it’s quite large compared to most humidifiers but slightly shorter than their upright fans, a little taller than three feet, with a little more bulk at the bottom where the water reservoir is and the Dyson air purification magic takes place. As previously mentioned, out of the box, the unit itself is relatively large and bulky; much larger than the second-generation Dyson humidifier I have been using for the past four years. After removing the numerous amounts of protective cushioning and tape, set up is relatively simple with minimal reliance on the instruction manual. I simply rinsed out and filled up the water reservoir, plugged the unit in and pressed the power button. After that, I connected the fan to my Dyson account through my smartphone app via the built-in Wi-Fi and the purifier’s sensors immediately started measuring the air quality, humidity, filter use, etc. You can either control the fan speed and humidity setting using the included remote, via the smartphone app and even your voice if your Dyson account is synced through your voice assistant(s) like Amazon Alexa or Google Voice. Regarding technology built into the unit, it can automatically sense and adjust to the environment it’s placed into by adjusting the humidity setting, fan speed, etc. and displaying that information on the on-screen display and your smartphone. You can schedule the purifier’s run time(s) via the app as well which is convenient if you only wish for it to run during your sleep or when you’re occupying that area. One of my favorite features of this new model is the deep clean cycle that eliminates mineral build up and bacteria with the touch of a button. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to take apart my last humidifier and hand clean it to remove all that old mineral build up and standing water gunk, whatever that was. Having several Dyson air purifiers already throughout our home, we typically don’t have to replace the filter(s) more between once or twice a year depending on where they are in our home and they are very easy to swap out at a reasonable price. If you suffer from seasonal or year-round allergies like I do, air purifiers are a must-have throughout your home and office. If you live in a hot, dry climate, like I do, a humidifier combined with cooling technology in the bedroom and/or office space is also a must-have. Combining both purification and humidification in the new Dyson PH03 Purifier Humidifier is a no-brainer and would recommend it to anyone in the market and consider it killing two birds with one stone and could potentially even save you money instead of investing in two separate machines.

We live in Colorado and have eczema and bad allergies. We're those people that need purifiers and humidifiers in the same room. But the problem is then that they have to be in opposite corners or else the purifier is just going to capture the humidifier and you're just left with clean but dry air. In comes the Dyson Pure Humidify and Cool, a machine that can do both effectively and with style! The thing I love the most about this unit is as mentioned, it does both! But there’s a lot more to it. The design is classic Dyson. It works with most home decor, but not all. Luckily it’s designed to be put in a corner of the room and left alone. We just have it in auto mode for both purification and humidification (you can manually set either if need be) and it takes care of the rest. Love a product that I can set and forget. On a warm day you can turn it to breeze mode where it mimics a breeze and feels really nice. Another thing I love is how well designed and easy to use the myDyson app is. We have multiple Dyson purifiers so it’s nice to be able to access all of them with ease. You can easily connect the newer models to your smart homes as well for even lazier/more efficient control. Last thing I wanted to touch on was the cleaning process. Having come from what’s considered “the easiest to clean humidifier” I appreciate this so much better. It does all the hard work for you, you just have to buy some citric acid (sounds dangerous but is just basically drink sweetener) pour it in there when it tells you and it does its own deep clean. And that water reservoir is LARGE! It usually lasts us about 2 days being set to auto in very dry Colorado. Overall this machine is incredible. Dyson has thought of everything to bring us a product that is not only easy to use and smart, but also easy to maintain with all the modern bells and whistles you could want. If you’ve been using two separate machines for your humidification and purification then this is the machine to get! Dyson is known for style, engineering, and functionality, and cutting edge technology This filter is all of that wrapped into 1. Setup: Super simple. Took all but 10 mins max including taking it out of the box where it is securely boxed and packaged. Turned on. Synced with app. Filled water. Turned on. I was up and running. Operation was easy. Using either the app or the remote made is super simple to use. Synchronized with Alexa pretty easy. That took all but 3 mins to do. They have improved this on both ends pretty well now. The app is pretty powerful. It allows for more than 1 device to be controlled. It also shows stats of outside air quality and inside air quality. The different speeds are nice. You can. Use as a Fan or you can have it now out the back and diffuse like a regular filter. The humidifier option is a great figure too to help regulate humidity. Footprint is pretty good. Not too huge. On a side note. I owned another filter by Dyson and had an issue covered under warranty during the height of the pandemic and they made good with their promise to fix my machine... Maintenance cost can be pricey with filters depending on how dirty your air is. But the citric acid bath already comes with a solution that will last quite some time. With all this, I would highly recommend this product for what it is intended for.

The Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool PH03 is an all-in-one air purifying and humidifying device that improves the air quality in your home while also maintaining humidity levels. The device is larger than other Dyson purifiers and also nearly 20 pounds empty, so don’t plan on moving it around the house. Fortunately, the device covers a large area and seems to perform well. The signature Dyson design doesn’t exactly blend in and at 3’ high and nearly a foot wide, you will want to verify you have a dedicated space for it. In my opinion, the standout features of the Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool PH03 are it’s bacteria reduction measures. In my experience, humidifiers tend to develop bacteria or mold internally. Often times, the smaller cool mist humidifiers can not be taken apart and with evaporative models you have to maintain the evaporator pad which is prone to bacteria. However, the Dyson PH03 has mitigated this with a silver woven evaporator pad which is resistant to bacteria growth, as well as a UVC LED in the water inlet to purify the water prior to evaporation. In addition, the device can clean itself through an automated cleaning mode! Granted the device is costly, but Dyson has put in some desirable features that aren’t common in this market. Besides humidifying, the device uses a HEPA H13 filter to capture 99.97% of airborne particles including dust, pollen, allergens, and other contaminants as small as 0.3 microns. The filter also features a carbon layer able to capture harmful VOCs and gases, further reducing indoor air pollution. Both the filter replacement and cleaning process are simple, and the device even alerts you when it's time to change the filter or run a cleaning cycle, so you never have to worry about it. In addition to humidifying and purifying the air, the device provides pseudo cooling similar to a an evaporative (swamp) cooler. Though you can’t really control this operation directly it does seem to provide cooler air while the humidifier is enabled. You can also turn of the humidifier completely if desired. The Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool PH03 is also very easy to use, with a user-friendly app and magnetic remote control. The app shows the current temperature, humidity, and air quality, and you can control all functions as well as schedule modes of operation. In addition to standard oscillation modes like other Dyson purifiers, this model features a breeze mode that simulates a “refreshing breeze”. It seemed like a gimmick but I actually found this to be more appealing than traditional oscillation methods. The unit is fairly quiet when running below level 5, but higher speeds are distracting. I found when setting purify to AUTO, the device tended to ramp up the fan to high speed frequently even when air quality was good. The device even stayed at higher fan speeds for prolonged duration leading to several comments from my significant other. Hopefully this behavior can be tweaked through a firmware update by Dyson. Fortunately you can manually set or schedule lower speeds and the device still provides a decent volume of air flow, humidity, and cooling. Overall, the Dyson PH03 is a unique purifier and humidifier that improves the air quality in your home while also hygienically humidifying or cooling the air. Like all Dyson products, it has thoughtful design and engineering which sets it apart from other similar devices. While the price is high, the unique features of the humidifier provide peace of mind knowing it is far less likely to develop bacteria and distribute it throughout your home.

This device does everything it says it does and is nearly perfect if it weren’t for 2 little complaints I have for it, but it would only be a half star lost if I could select that. This thing is much bigger than I first thought, but with the power, purification and humidification, I can see why. This is my first bladeless fan and the amount of air coming out of this thing at max speed is like a wind tunnel. In hardly any time you start to notice a difference in the room from smells to the temperature. Set up took a lot of pulling tabs and removing cardboard protective bits and then snapping the parts back in place, but pretty simple and quick. The water reservoir holds nearly a gallon and half of water, has a handle and even has wheels so you can sit it down and push it into the main body. Really helps with reducing the fear of splashing water everywhere. Controls are fairly simple and you get even more data from the app. I always have a fan running in my bedroom and love to sleep in a cool room, but don’t like the rest of the house to be cold. I also enjoy having a clean, fresh smelling room and not waking up to a bit of pollen to get my day off to a rough start. Plus, the added humidity really has helped sleeping during the cool dry season. The biggest problem I have with this machine is that even with everything set manually, it still automatically shuts down, not completely off, when the water level is too low in the humidifier. Talking about being in a dead sleep and the room goes quiet, you think the power went out yet everything else still appears to be running. You check on the fan, thinking something is wrong, and all it is doing is the lowest setting because it is out of water and is awaiting acknowledgment of the notification. Now, it does say up to 36 hours of humidifying, however, this is very specific for conditions and meant to be an enclosed room. This particular day it had only been about 24 hours since I filled it and my bedroom door was left open while I was asleep. So, it went beyond those conditions, which just means I need to top it off before I go to bed for now on. The other thing I find a bit annoying is the placement of the display and buttons. Though I don’t have to worry about it around my house, they are at a perfect position for toddler fingers to wonder what that shiny round thing does. Yet, it is so low that I have to bend down to even see what the display is showing. Which is a full color screen that gives all kinds of information, like steps to replace filters and the deep clean. However, it would be so much better if it was on top of the fan, out of reach of small kids and in reach of people that have a hard time bending over and reading fine print. I haven’t had the device long enough to do a deep clean cycle, but it comes with 3 packs of citric acid and says it will ask to be cleaned about once a month based on hard/soft water settings. The steps look pretty simple and take an hour plus prep time. Overall though, it has certainly made a difference in the conditions in my main bedroom. For a larger open area, I’m sure it would still make a difference, but would suck up some water, especially during the winter season. Having the charts from the app is also a great way just to see how the conditions change throughout the day.

I was not expecting the humidifier to be the size that it was. I'm not complaining one bit. After finally getting this thing out of the box. The setup was simple. It only took like 15 minutes. All you do is pull some tape off. Remove some cardboard and snap back in the fitted pieces. Download the app. Sync the device with your phone or tablet. Remove the tank and fill it with water. Boom that is pretty much 99% of the setup. The app you have to download is straightforward to use. You can power the device from the app. Adjust multiple settings. See the temperature for the room. There is so much to do inside the app. The part of the app I like the post is the "Scheduling Your Machine" you can set an auto adjust so the device turns on and off based to your preference. You select the time for turn on and turn off and the days you prefer. This can help conserve on energy and not just constantly run when it may not need too. The app also has all the instructions as far as cleaning and installation in case you forget something in the process. Troubleshooting problems and the Deep Cleaning process which I have yet to do. But I have full confidence with the items included and the guide on the app everything will go smooth. It's a good feeling knowing the Air quality in the home is good and clean. Since that is where we spend a little over a third of our daily lives at bare minimum. If I were to come up with a negative and I'm really stretching to find this one. Every company now a days wants you to download their app. So now you have more apps on your phone or device. So you end up with more apps on your device than you want to. Also, the fact that some of these apps may try to collect more data than you may know. Not saying the Dyson app does that but something to keep in mind Overall this is a good product and well worth the money. You can't beat clean, fresh, and purified air. Compared with the crap we breath in outside the home why not try it out?

I've been testing the Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool for about a week. Overall, I think this is an awesome 3-in-1 device that is extremely user friendly. It also conveniently comes with a physical remote control and mobile app that has all the same function options as the physical remote control. The first thing I love about it is that it does a fantastic job of showing me real time statistics of the indoor and outdoor air quality of my house. For example, it tells me the indoor temperature, humidity level, VOC (Volatile organic compound) levels, and PM (particulate Matter) levels. If I open my front door or burn some toast, I can instantly see the change in air quality. Then Dyson immediately goes to work getting those levels down to a healthy level. I also love the humidifying abilities of it. I suffer from chronic sinusitis which causes me to have dry sinuses and headaches if the air is too dry. When this happens, I place the Dyson a few feet from me, and I can immediately feel the comfort of the moisturized air. It also is an excellent fan. In its lowest fan speed settings of 5 or below it is almost completely inaudible. When set between 5 and 10 it becomes audible. However, it is an acceptable level. Other competitor devices usually sound like a Jet is about to take off in my living room. When I combine the fan and humidifier functions of the Dyson it does an excellent job of providing a cool, comfortable moist breeze. It won't change the temperature of the room, but it does make the room feel cooler. The product works well overall and if you are looking for a high-quality humidifier/air purifier with the ability to control/track things conveniently on your mobile devices, I would highly recommend this product.

dyson purifier humidity+ cool is such an amazing device, this had help me with from waking up not having a dried throat, first this my first time having a dyson fan, i’ve always been a fan when it comes to their products. but having this to finally test it is sure been a joy, design is always the first striking thing you’ll notice about design, this fan was bigger and taller than I thought I was gonna be, the premium design sure does stands out, its not your typical bladed fan that could eventually get dusty and the dust pretty much comes back to ya. dyson have two oscillators that can turn up to 90 degrees. but if you don’t want a more direct air you can also which the direction of the air on the back section. dyson like other humidifiers claims they can also remove bacteria 99.9 % can’t really question these data since it’s not something we see. the fact that this humidifiers UV light suppose to kills the bacteria before it brings it out in the air sounds fantastic! the water tank hold great amount of water, the system will also have a deep clean cycle system that dyson said eliminate mineral build up on the water system, the pacakage also comes with 3 bags of descaler power that you can add in your water. experience had been pretty simple, i’ve downloaded the dyson app that automatically recognize the type of dyson fan I have . gives you a great amount information like the air quality that you have, mine is currently on good temperature, through the app you can also view air temperature data to see if things changes throughout the 12hrs. the app also act as an extra remote to controller your dyson. having access to fan speed level, humidity control that you can set all the way up to 70, an option for auto humidify and auto purify. my personal setting it keeping these to auto in general, i’ll let the fan adjust itself when it needed. just got a new house and definitely air quality is alot different, having this dyson humidifier has been helping to have a much better sleep through the night, I can’t get a straight sleep because I have to wake up for some water, but the first night I used the dyson fan in our bedroom, it was a game changer, I did not wake up at all in the middle of the night, my throat was not try. it’s been a week of using dyson humidifier and so far my sleep is 100% better. I honestly didn’t think i would notice any different since I don’t usually use humidifier, but now i’m very happy to own one, a great looking humidifier that carry some amazing tech inside it. might have to order another one for the living room

I recently purchased the Purifier Humidify + Cool and have owned a Purifier Hot + Cool for about a year. Comparing the two size wise - huge difference - this humidifier version is heavier (when filled with water) and taller due to the water tank. I was a bit surprised by the size, but I really like the way it functions and looks. The Dyson app works the same way it does with my previous purifier and I am happy with ease of set up and control. Filling up the tank is easy, because it has an attached handle that folds up when you are ready to load it back into thr Purifier. Small touch, but the handle really makes the laborious part simpler and easy to live with. The other thing that surprised me was how the purifier circulates air - my other Dyson Purifier rotates while this does not. Instead it has vents in the side that can move up to 90 degrees and has a setting that simulates a breeze where the vents go in opposite directions. The humidifier doesn’t blow mist, it’s more like an ocean breeze which I prefer. It’s a pricey item, but if you can afford it - I would definitely say go for it. I’m very happy with it a month in.

Sensors stopped working 100% at about 8 months in. Deep clean cycle wont initiate and humidifier does not work because it wants a deep clean. Air purifier still works well however the sensors as stated don't work correctly it will sense impurities in the air even though there are none and the machine needs to be unplugged to reset. I've had the machine 15 months it's only worked properly for less than half that time.

This is the second one I buy. Dyson is never disappointing. We live in a mountain town - super dry air. It does humidify and it is a life changer.

Dyson Products are pricey, but you can't deny they are the best. Needed a good humidifier and are purifier for a small Casita. This does the job. I got a couple of fans and the vacuum. I am a "Dyson Fan." HA!!!!

I have 2 of these machines they work AMAZING!!! one at each house, It helps so much especially if you have allergies or dry eye issues.

If I could give this negative stars, I would. I bought this model in December '23. After a few months, the machine started to make a high-pitched whining noise. Called customer service and did their deep clean (even though everything was still spotless) and that didn't fix it. So I sent the machine back and got a new one. The new model's humidifier didn't work at all. The readout was much higher than the actual humidity and if I tried to manually change it, the machine would stop running. Returned that one. So now I've been waiting for two months for another machine to be delivered, have called multiple times, and they keep telling me they'll send out a new machine, apparently upgraded to the PH04. Fingers crossed this one works, if I ever get it! So frustrating. Save yourself the trouble and buy a different brand! PS I've been on the line with customer service now (for the fifth time) for 30 minutes and they're still "checking for me" where my replacement is.
