This washer makes noise and vibration is aggressive during the spin cycle.I wanted to give this washer a chance .But since I owned a whirlpool and it made the same complicated reaction.This machine does clean clothes.But in my personal opinion the noise that it makes and with that screeching sound is for me to much to bear.GE might have been around for am long time but I think that with all the noise this machine makes might make you think heavy duty but I say even though any machine should not only be durable but comfortable to use in my opinion with that I think and feel that this machine needs an update from its manufacturer and testing on noise level not just how well it cleans .in this review and my obvious insight I do not recommend this washer because of the high noise level with screeching and aggressive vibration which is annoying to my baby and when she hears it she won't stop crying

I chose this model specifically because I had the same brand in a gas dryer and wanted both units to match. This unit has all the thrills of a standard washing machine which is all you really need.

This is the first washer I ever purchased for my house and for the price I was skeptical but it is great! A little loud but nothing major. It was washes really quick, I was not expecting that. Overall it is a great machine I’d definitely recommend especially for the price

Washer was exactly what we needed to replace our older Ge washer. It fit the space right. and matched in color. Oh, this new machine washes clothes and towels etc. very good ! The delivery and install went as planned, the delivery guys did a great job, clean and easy. :)

The washer is surprisingly good. I like the precise full option. It’s a little louder than my previous washer but overall the washer does the job well. I have a small area for the washer dryer and it fit perfectly in that area. The price is also reasonable too!

So far, so good. It’s very noisy at the beginning of the cycle. It has a very roomy tub size, so washing a comforter shouldn’t be a problem. The machine uses less water than my 1977 model, so my water bill should decrease.

Good washer for the Price, has many different functions that we enjoy, is a bit loud on certain settings.

Does the job and gets them clean, Speed wash in about 40 minutes.

Washer is a little noisy when starting a load, but does a good job washing various types of loads.

I have not any problem with this washer in its washing function. Only the problem wit it is , this makes noise. Otherwise it is good. However I plan to change it because of its hares sound change it. It's price is reasonable so I recommend it if you are low in Budget

If you want simple and no fuss with advanced technology then this washer is for you. I returned a very techy washer with tons of features on it for this GE one and I'm so happy I did.

its a little noisy, but it does the wash well. I like the old washers so I chose this one for its similarity to the old one I had for twenty years. Just need to be a little patient with this one, it run on a digital circuit not a timer dial, I like it, it does indeed take time to get used new appliances.

I really like that this machine has the option to change water levels. So far it has been washing well and is not too loud. Good product for the price!

I had an older version of this washer for about 12 years. While the old one was still working, some plumbing work was being done in the laundry room, so I decided to get a new one. I was pleasantly surprised to find almost the exact model at Best Buy and for a very competitive price. I prefer analog dials over touch controls, and this machine has all the settings and more than I would ever need. I particularly like that the spin cycle leaves the clothes almost dry, so it saves time in the actual dryer!
