Good Replacement for our 18 year old GE

The new model is very cheaply made in comparison. When you shut the door it sounds like a tin can and the numbers are so small and hard to read.

Best Buy shipped a open box/defective product

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We received our order today and the box showed clear signs of having been opened before: the box was retaped, the styrofoam inside was broken, the plastic bag that the microwave was in was ripped, and there was no product manual. When we took out the microwave, the button to open the microwave door was defective and would not trigger the door to open. This was probably an item that a previous purchaser returned, perhaps because it was defective. It is crazy that, given the price we paid for this, Best Buy ships a clearly defective product to us. Now we have to take the time to drive to a Best Buy store to return this.

Don’t do it!

Best Buy only allows two weeks for returns, but since I couldn’t schedule an install until after the return date & I was too trusting & didn’t unpack the unit before the installer arrived, I’m now stuck with a $400 paper weight.

May look clean aesthetically but handle was completely broken . Button to open door was busted. Had to return delayed me having a microwave until I was free to drive to a local Best Buy. Don’t wanna buy online again
