I was looking for an inexpensive ice cream machine and found this one. I received it a week ago and have already used it three times. I was assuming that it would turn off by it self after churning was done. But that is not the case. When I use it I put a 40 minutes timer and then turn it off. The only con so far is that it's a little loud while churning, and you can only add 4 cups of your ingredients so it doesn't over flow. As long as you follow directions your ice cream will churn to a slushy consistency, and of course you have to freeze it for a few hours to set properly. All in all this machine is a little work horse worth having. I am very satisfied with the end results. I finally made my tropical Tamarindo ice cream I was craving, thanks to this little machine!

For quite a reasonable price it was a really fun and great device to utilize. Easy and simple to set up, very much enjoy this ice cream maker!

With the serious lack of tart frozen yogurt around here, i decided to make my own and got this little ice cream maker. This has been one of the best blind purchases i've ever made. Its easy to use and produces great frozen yogurt in 20 minutes. Highly recommended!!

I have used it twice since my purchase and it works well. Fast and great. It takes me back to my childhood when my grandfather would hand crank his ice cream maker.

Great ice cream machine. Only downside is it doesn't regulate temperature like the expensive ones, instead this one's bowl has to be frozen for eight hours minimum before churning can begin. Makes great ice cream when done right, took us a few tries to achieve silky smooth ice cream. Just don't add too much or it won't churn, churns up to four cups of a custard or mixture at most. Would be great if pieces were dishwasher safe, but over all this ice cream maker is great for kids and beginners. Would recommend.

I got to relive a piece of my childhood. It has been many years since I have enjoyed the taste of homemade ice cream and this ice cream maker does the job well. It appears to be well made albeit a bit noisy. However it's an ice cream maker and they are motorized. If you want quiet ice cream buy a hand crank model or buy a carton from the store. I used a recipe from the instruction model for easy ice cream mix. Two cups of Half and Half, one cup of whipping cream, one half cup of sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. It came out perfect after forty minutes of mixing. I had the freezer container in my freezer for over 24 hours. Make sure to make your mix then take the container out, put the beater and the cover on, pour in the mix and turn on the button. DO NOT take out the freezing container until you are ready to use it! The leftover ice cream froze up nicely in a Tupperware container too. This is a great little machine. I highly recommend it!

Its pretty cool to be able to make your own ice cream with the flavor you want and to omit less sugar is a great thing. I made green tea ice cream because it's one of my favs and hard to find. Hagaan daz makes one but there needs to be more green tea flavor in it and less sugar. Mine came out acceptable, next time I would add more milk or cream. It can be a process and a little time consuming though to make homemade ice cream. This machine is the BOMB though! can't wait to make other flavors after I make more room in my freezer!

Not going to lie the canister takes forever to freeze and because of its size is a little bit hard to manage but it's okay I figured it out. And it is my absolute favorite thing. I haven't actually bought store ice cream since I bought this it's amazing

Makes great ice cream! So easy to use and makes ice cream as good as store bought but better because you can make it healthier, fresher, and whatever flavors you want. I with I had bought this years ago, if I had know how easy it was to use.

I only used this once. It's a little noisy but it does the thing! For the price, I think it was well worth it. Once the ice cream is made, it still needs to be put in the freezer (based on the frozen level preferred). I am not sure if that's normal for ice cream makers. This is my 1st ice cream maker, I am by no means an expert. It's likely an ice cream maker for a beginner.

I like this product but it was not what I though it was but I learned to make other stuff in it so I just kept it !

Machine is very easy to use and recipes included produced great flavored ice cream.

Got here sooner than I thought. Its really easy to make ice cream in. The price was perfect I just wish I could make a gallon at a time.

I think every senior should have one of these. I use it 2 or 3 times a week. Easy to use, no mess with water and salt. Ice cream is delicious, makes just enough for 2 people,, 2 or 3 servings, depending portions. I even bought my parents one of these. had sent out to Calif. And the price does not brake the bank. Just make sure you keep the container nice and cold, I keep mine in the freezer. So it is always cold enough and ready to use..

Have tried a few ice cream makers but for the price and ease of use, this one is good. The best ice cream comes from small batches with this one but I don’t care for stored ice cream after a couple of days. This way I have fresh ice cream every time.

Easy to clean works great just very loud to use had to shut the pocket door to watch tv
