It does hold 12 cups of coffee. I haven't tried all of the brewing features yet but I really like the filter feature. Its quite different from my old coffee make. My coffee tastes nice and smooth. I haven't tried programming the product yet. I do like the way it works and the cleanup is easy. This is a product that I would recommend to a friend. Thank you!

Coffee tastes as expected regardless of brand. Suggest not removing pot until fully finished dripping. Previous pot dripped when using pause and drips caused rusty ugly bottom so being patient with this one. Would purchase again.
