Wasn't sure about the brand but this 10 inch CD/DVD player by Insignia is really great. Bought one as a gift and liked it so much that I had to treat myself to one. Sharp picture and beautiful colors. Runs on battery, wall plug, car "cigarette lighter" connection, and even can be connected to show on your TV. All necessary cables are included. Only negative might be the maximum volume is not super loud but it's fine. Very pleased with this purchase. Thanks!

Its small and the volume is not super loud but for portable use its perfect. One can plug in a headset or as it did plug in simple computer speakers. Works great!! I set it up on a high table when on my spin bike. Picture quality is first rate.

I give this 3 stars only due to its excessively low volume. You do indeed have to be very close to hear. I read many reviews on it's low volume but because you have to hold it so close due to small screen, I felt it would do. I wish the volume went a little louder because you do tire of holding it so close. Having discussed the volume, I do give this unit high marks for picture quality and ease of use. For those two features, I would have given it 5 stars.

Over all for the money a decent product. Only complaint would be the volume only goes to 20. You must wear earbuds. We thought that you would be able to use it without them. Other than that a decent picture on this size of a screen. Bought it for my 83 year old mother. Easier for her to use than changing the dvd back to tv.

Nice compact unit that is easy to carry, but the volume level of the main speaker is too low. It is a little better using headphones. Also, platter makes too much noise.

Excellent little DVD player. The volume is not quite loud enough for older people with hearing loss. It was a clear picture, worked great with head phones, and connected easily to the TV. We used it on a camping trip and were very satisfied.

Could use a little more of volume but it's ok, won't fail in extreme hot or cold weather, I had a Silvana which stopped reading disks within 6 months, This is my second Insignia dvd player, I got it for my youngest kid, I bought the first one two years ago for my oldest kid and is still working perfectly.

I bought this for my 93 year old mother to watch movies while in COVID 19 lockdown. She has no problem with operations; however, the internal speakers produce only very low volume output, so she uses headphones - which work fine.

Great size and picture clarity—easy to use and handle But the volume is horrendously poor!

bought this in a hurry, about to be stuck on a boring post for weeks and they said we could bring entertainment. Speakers very quite butthat was ok because it was a quite area however you may want to bring headphones if this is for a long car ride or use anywhere other noise exists.

The picture quality is really good, but the volume could be better.

The only problem with the device is that the volume is much too quiet and my 81 year old mother could not hear, actually much to quiet for me as well. Bought a very cheap speaker and used it in the headphone jack and that worked but really the volume should be able to be much louder

It could have better volume. It is easy to use, but the volume is too low or quiet.

This unit was just what I needed at my "off-grid" cabin without electricity, internet, or cell service. Works flawlessly and I really like the clarity of the screen. The only negative I found was a lack of volume, which I solved by connecting to an auxillary speaker.

Got this for my kids to share on longer trips. Good quality, comes with remote which is nice, downside being the volume. I haven't attempted to hook to my car stereo at this point but on its own the volume is not very loud to be used in the car.

Everything is fine with this DVD player, except the volume does not go high enough.

I have a problem with the volume not being loud enough so I needed to purchase a headphone,and when using the zoom feature the little blue box stays on screen

The player is thicker and heavier than I expected. Plus the rewind etc functions are noisy. The volume range is not very broad either. It feels like an old technology unit - probably was awesome 15 years ago.

The volume go from loud to barely able to hear and back again. this happens without warning.

It looks cheap and the max volumen is low. I've used it only once so i still don't know if i like it or not.
