Unreliable Bluetooth and static noise

There was a constant awful background static noise. The Bluetooth would drop after fifteen minutes and this happened multiple times. The sound itself would have been a good quality if not for the static noise. Also, at times it would cause my laptop to do weird things like make the screen shake and I was worried it would crash my laptop (Lenova Thinkpad). I ended up returning this and thankfully got my money back. I am using my old Logitech non Bluetooth speakers from my old dismantled desktop computer and they are working beautifully. I should have just done that to begin with but I was hoping for something more wireless. I saw all the great reviews on this and had high hopes. Maybe its' not compatible with my laptop? The employee at the store I asked about this said it was so who knows.

Very Disappointed

Here are my thoughts: --Sound quality is what you'd expect from a $30 pair of speakers. --The lighting was kinda cool... set it to green so it would match my tower's ambient lighting --The cords weren't too bad, plenty of room to distance the speakers. --The real problem here is the bluetooth. I have been using them for a day now and every 2 or 3 minutes the pairing drops out. The sound also lags and cuts out, especially if multiple sound layers are coming out (i.e. simultaneous music & gaming). The troubleshooting only has "reduce the distance between the speakers and the device" and recharge the device. Well, I'm connected to a desktop computer and the speakers could only be closer if they were sitting on top of the tower. Returning these and getting something from Logitech... at least those will actually work. Serves me right for going cheap.

Users can change the speaker's light color to a few more options, which is neat. I took my speakers right out the box, and only one speaker worked. I made sure all the connections were secured, but I still could not get it to work.

Pretty Lights

Very Poor Quality

All other functions were fine. Because of the holidays and so many commitments, I did not get it taken back to the store in their "window" of time in which I could return it! So I have to keep the defective item. I think your policy needs to be changed especially during December and January when everyone is really busy. Makes me want to remember to buy at stores where the return policy is more open.

Not worth the purchase

BEWARE! BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY!

Speakers were really nice and sounded great! Unfortunately, mine stopped working in late October (purchased them in August so now I can't return them). I didn't buy the Geek Squad protection for $6.99 for two years because of all the great reviews here. Now they're useless. Both Bluetooth and AUX won't connect to my computer and I tried everything. I would recommend this as long as you buy the extended warranty as Best Buy is REALLY GOOD with the Geek Squad Protection.

Avoid like the plague

If you are looking to upgrade speakers, do yourself a favor and drop your current ones in a bucket of water then poke holes in the cone. They will still sound better than these ones. If you just want a blue light then buy a blue light. These have the worst sound quality I've ever heard, I have switched back to my laptop speakers and I'm not looking back.

Sound broke up badly

Don't know range of blue tooth, but worked great close to computer & monitor. Don't know about longevity.. just had them a few hours. Problem was sound quality.. broke up when running volume above "low", especially the bass. Both speakers very similar sound.

DO NOT BUY THESE-STOPPED WORKING

Beware of wireless speakers

I have had nothing but problems trying to get them to work with my computer. They are wireless and have not successfully worked with my computer even after calling the geek squad and having them update my computers drivers and doing other updates. They will work for a day or two and then stop working again. Next time I'm buying speakers like my old ones that connect to the computer with a wire.
