Working from home during Pandemic and needed to revive an old second monitor for ease of use with my work laptop. Old monitor did not have an HDMI port, but did have a display port. This cable enabled me to use my HDMI laptop port and the Monitor's display port. Great quality, length, and price! Readily available.

The cord itself is a thick braid rather than the usual plastic and the end are denser as well. Overall, a much better quality than other products.

good alternative to 4k DP to HDMI adapters

Considered getting an adapter, but was worried about signal degradation when adapters + cables are used. It's also long enough for most setups and the price ain't bad either!
