With the number of monitor/tv/Display connections ever increasing, it is always good to keep a few adapters around. I picked this guy up and threw it in my bag just to have. I dont own anything with a display port. I just like to buy adaptors...mmmmmmm adaptors. Last week I found my self in a smoke filled room. Old men milling around trying to figure out how to get a laptop on a projector. It turns out I was able help them with this adapter I had in my back pocket. Billionaires could get back to telling each other how wonderful they are. The story you just read is untrue, but the cable does work perfectly.

After upgrading my Graphics card, I ended up removing my old 1080 that was being run as a dedicated Physx card, and was supplying the video feed to my secondary monitor. Due to this, I needed an DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. So I could continue to use my old HDMI cable with one of the remaining DisplayPorts on my new Graphics card for my secondary monitor. Was a quick plug and play zero hassle solution that saved a good bit of money on a new cable.

This DisplayPort to HDMI adapter works great. It is very easy to use and is good in quality.

Needed to run an OLED TV with an older Quadro card that only has display port and DVI. Super easy to install (plugged it into the computer dp port and plugged the hdmi cable from the TV into it) and it was off to the races with 4K @ 30fps. Great for watching videos . . . games probably not so much (your milage may vary).

They work great! My video card only had Display Port plugs and my monitors were HDMI. Simple plug and play with no issues.
