If you are in the market compare the capabilities needed for your monitor/video card as display port cables have different capabilities for output.

This cable has been great as the cable that came with the monitor kept causing flickering issues and would not allow me to use the monitor to its fullest potential. I am now gaming in 4K with no flickering issues
