Buyer Beware! Best Buy sells refurbished Kitchen Aid mixers as new products. Brought a brand new mixer and was disappointed to find that the beater was scratched, a nick had a bad paint job, and there was a wire sticking out of the handle. Returned it and got another mixer. Same problem. This time the bowl was scratched in several places, and ther was a nick under the handle. See photos below.

I purchase a new product only to be sent a very used(return) product. It had scratches all over and the wiping mixer was so use it had lost it stainless steel look. Worst of it was the was butter from previous use on the product. I was so furious and of course I returned.

Complete disappoint, I passed through my Dad hospice and dead and finally decide to open my Christmas gift. It was used and does not has the the silver recipient. I would not recommend to buy online anymore from Best Buy

I bought a new one. But give me a used open box. Because the four feet Obviously used and Eggbeater is also used.

I purchased this model and it was delivered last week. I went to make bagels (using 3 1/2 cups of flour) and the machine stopped kneading. The motor runs but the attachments don’t spin. The locking mechanism did not work and kept popping up while mixing, and the lever to switch speeds was so tight and difficult to move. I had previously owned a KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer for 21 years and replaced it with this newer model. Unfortunately, it’s crap. Best Buy is sending out a new mixer. Hopefully the new mixer will work. Best Buy Customer Service was great!

I bought this as a less messy way to knead bread; turns out hand kneading is much better than using this mixer. The dough hook is dysfunctional and the dough ends up pudding-like but also overkneaded. It might work well for other things but do not buy this for bread making. Terrible purchase; do not recommend.

I bought and returned 3 of these mixers. All missing the attachment spring. Every single Kitchenaid mixer ever made has a spring on the attachment shaft. My Grandmother's, Mother's, Aunt's, and every friend's I've ever seen, every single display or picture on the internet has this spring. I buy one, then two then three and none of them has this spring. I'm not going to have the only mixer on the planet without this spring. I took them all back and will most likely buy a Beville. It has the spring and I'll loose out on being able to add all of the attachments that Kitchen Aids can have I guess.

This product was out for delivery for multiple days before it was returned to sender. I tried to contact Best Buy to figure out what was going on and no one was willing to help me figure this issue out. I will never order anything on their website again

literally would not turn off the first time it was used. Had to unplug it to stop it. Quality control problem.

Used for first time after having for a couple of months not working properly. Gears are grinding will not shut off. Expect much better quality from KitchenAid

The 1st use was excellent after the 2nd use it stopped working. Poor quality.

It might be ok for normal cake but when I did bread dough, the engine was so hot that I got burnt.

Straight out of the box brand new to make Santa’s cookies and it started humming and would not spin. Never will buy another again. Returned it and Best Buy said they couldn’t swap it because they were sold out, I said okay how about we order one and do a swap then when it comes in? Nope I’m not showing any anywhere and not sure when they’re selling again. So I gave up with it. Got my money back and that was that. Wife was sad

Would love to give you a great review. Unfortunately the Beater was frozen on and we were not able to get it off and so we called Kitchen Aid and they are going to send out a replacement and it would take 6 to 8 weeks to get. :( Larry E

I feel cheated. This item went on sale 2 weeks after purchase for almost half the price. Additionally when kneading bread dough it needs to be watched and held down as it tries to pivot up.

I don't bake much so rarely use this. I had the dough hook in and was using it for a normal recipe when it just abruptly stopped working. Tried everything to reset it, took it apart, it's just dead.

the motors in these new models are simply not as powerful as with the Old Kitchen Aid.. Very disappointed in this product. Sorry I purchased it.

Cheaply made, i have to unplug it to shut it off, the mtor gets hot mixing a cake.

Metal shavings fell into our food the first time turning it on.

I received the kitchen aid and subsequently I found out some stains in the paint at the top. Contacted the support but they won’t replace the item nor offer a refund.
