The best purchase in our new kitchen - ever!!!

We remodeled our kitchen and were looking to go with something that can tolerate volume of dishes with increased sensitivity on temperature ranges and sizes - and boy did we get it with this cooktop. Stylish and impeccably designed. We couldn't be happier and anticipate many, many years of joy out of this piece in our kitchen. Be mindful that the sides of the cooktop sit on top of a small piece of countertop - the pictures here make it look like it's a standalone and that the countertop just meets the cooktop.

Can inadvertently turn on gas by brushing up against knobs (very dangerous). 2. We use propane, and advertisements should state that propane burner btu rating is MUCH (20 to 40%) lower than the advertised natural gas rating (12 or 13,000 btu vs 15 or 20,000). 3. Spills around burners get baked on and very difficult to clean.

Delivery has been postponed 4 times now, taking me into September. Neither KitchenAid nor BestBuy can explain why or when a true production date will be. My kitchen remodel revolves around this cooktop. Cabinets go in next week and countertops cannot be ordered without this cooktop that I paid for 10 weeks ago with the promise of delivery 8 weeks ago. I am being strung along at this point. Please provide answers so I can move on.
