This is a replacement for another LG that I had fir almost 8years. The sound is rich from this soundbar. Im not sure how mich the bass is giving , but I'll have to figure that out when I get the manual. A manual is not included you have to download it. The quick summary instructions that do come in the box don't help with the remote. If you're not tech savvy...like me this can be problematic especially when the bar goes out. All in all this is a nice sound bar and the independent speakers are a nice touch. I personally didn't have those set-up because they need to be facing the tv and I don't have the space.

The LG 5.1.3 Channel S80TR Soundbar is absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I set it up, I was blown away by the immersive surround sound that truly replicates a theater experience. Cinematic Dolby Atmos & DTS:X Audio The Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support create an enveloping 3D soundstage, making every movie, TV show, and game feel incredibly lifelike. The height channels and up-firing speakers make a huge difference, giving me crisp dialogue, deep bass, and surround effects that fill the entire room. Whether it’s an action-packed blockbuster or a quiet drama, the sound is always balanced and detailed. Seamless Integration with LG C3 OLED This soundbar pairs flawlessly with my LG C3 OLED TV, and the WOW Orchestra feature takes everything to the next level. The synchronization between the TV’s speakers and the soundbar creates an even richer and fuller soundstage. No lag, no connectivity issues—just perfect, high-quality audio. Wireless Convenience & Room-Filling Bass The wireless subwoofer and rear speakers make setup incredibly easy. No messy wires running across the room, and yet, I get powerful bass that shakes the room without being overpowering. Explosions in movies and deep, rumbling sound effects feel dynamic, while music sounds clear and vibrant. Final Verdict If you want true cinematic audio without a complicated setup, this is the perfect soundbar. Whether you’re a movie lover, gamer, or music enthusiast, this system delivers high-quality, immersive sound that rivals a theater experience. Highly recommended!

LG S80TR Soundbar – My Thoughts After Using It for

I’ve had the LG S80TR soundbar for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly really impressed with it. I was looking for a soundbar that could improve the audio in my living room without taking up too much space, and this one hits the mark perfectly. The sound quality is amazing for the price. It’s got that rich, full sound that you’d expect from a higher-end system, with clear mids and deep bass that makes movies, music, and gaming sound so much better. The Dolby Atmos support really takes the experience up a notch, and I can actually feel the sound surrounding me, especially when I’m watching action scenes or playing games with spatial audio.

Overall, I really like the unit. It gives a great sound. I only wish you got a little more sound from the rear speaker as it doesn’t always sound like they’re giving off an giving off a loud sound just tiny background noises you hear mostly, and the subwoofer a tiny more base.. You will need to plug in each rear speaker, And a plug for the center bar and subwoofer a plug. overall I am satisfied with the over all sound I am getting , and pairing it with my OLED LG tv was a breeze

The soundbar was a user friendly setup. It pairs wonderfully with wow orchestra ( tv speakers). I was definitely happy with my purchase. Different sound modes. Very helpful and easy to go into different sound modes ( sports, cinema, music, etc. Theater sound and feel for the movies I love to watch. I do recommend if you like a superior sound while watching sports, movies, or tv shows. Soundbar Rocks!!

I'm extremely impressed so far. After a lot of deliberation, I purchased this surround sound system, hoping that it was "just right" for my threatre room/entertaining space. I almost bought a Nakamichi system but they were out of stock at the time. Knowing that i could return it, made it easy to give this one a try. Both were on sale but this one was $100 less than the Nakamichi. I was a little bit worried that I'd be disappointed in the over all power of the LG system since there's around 30% more wattage with the Nakamichi. BUT, I watched the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan and it was so loud i couldn't comfortably keep it at even half the total volume that it could reach. Also, while the sound is dynamic when there are explosions and things, it's not extreme like many other surround sound systems out there. Much more reasonable. Don't get me wrong, when I'm watching something with the intent to, and knowing that the sound is a big part of what I'm watching, I really enjoy the parts that are louder for their intended purpose. But when I'm watching something where i turn it up enough to be able to hear the dialog and I have to turn it down when the sound suddenly increases, immediately followed by needing to turn it back up to hear the dialog. It get kinda old.

The system is incredible, even though it says on the box that it only has 580 W, it is enough for the space where I have it installed, the sound is phenomenal. In addition, the quality of each of the sound nuances is perfect, very easy to install and configure… I recommend it 1000%

I would have liked to be able to write a full review but unfortunately, I bought an open box described as excellent condition, which should included all the parts, accessories and packaging. The product arrived without any documentation - owner manual, packing list, setup guide or warranty card, is missing specific screws that fit the wall mounting brackets, is dirty - greasy, dusty, has cat hair on all the parts and gunk in the speaker grill, it wasn't packaged right - the subwoofer was placed on its head and the protective bags that wrap the items were in the box but mostly not used to cover the items, and the remote was scuffed, making me think this soundbar was more than lightly used. I now can't set this up on time to watch a game and need to haul a large heavy box to a physical store to have this rectified. The least BestBuy could do is clean the product and repackage it correctly. I highly doubt the soundbar was tested for proper functionality.

The LG surround sound system delivers impressive audio quality with rich bass, clear vocals, and immersive surround effects. Setup is straightforward, and the sleek design fits well in any space. It pairs easily with LG TVs and other devices, enhancing the overall experience. While it excels for movies and music, the remote could be more intuitive, and some users may find the price a bit high. Overall, a solid choice for home entertainment.

This LG soundbar exceeded my expectations. The sound is powerful and immersive, especially with the rear speakers and subwoofer—it truly feels like a movie theater at home. Setup was simple, and the design is sleek and modern. The Dolby Atmos and surround effects are noticeable and make a huge difference when watching action scenes or listening to music. Definitely worth the investment if you want to upgrade your home entertainment system!

Great sound quality. I recently upgraded my living room TV to the LG C4 and decided to also upgrade my basic 2.1-channel soundbar. The sound quality is great, the subwoofer provides an impactful enough amount of base, and the rear speakers truly add to the surround sound. Pairing this with the LG C4, I was able to enable the "WOW Orchestra" setting so the TV speakers worked simultaneously with the sound bar. The only con I have is that I wish there was a way to turn off the display on the soundbar. The display isn't bright enough to be distracting, but I do wish it had an option to turn it off.

I would say it as excellent mid range soundbar, it is feature pack like flagship models, room calibration is an advantage at this price point, bass could have been little more but overall I am happy with it and will recommend to buy for less than $500 deal price.

Have both the s95tr and the s80tr. Picked them both up on sale. The 95 has so much more deep bass. A wider sound stage and does have a bit better vocal clarity. Dolby atmos is kinda mid on these bars. On every brand bar they are mid. Pop in a blue ray and lg does become one of if not the best sound bars out for 2025. Have paired with a 65 inch g5. I believe all lg owners should own a lg sound bar for the wow orchestra. Cause lets keep it real even on the flagship tvs,the speakers arent that great. If your looking for vocal clarity the s80tr is prob the best bar for you. If you want that thump and decent atmos and crisp vocals the s95 is the way to go.

Have been using this soundbar for about 4 months now and have been pretty impressed with it! The rear speakers really complete the surround sound experience, and the bass is much more pronounced compared to my Samsung kit. I have found that randomly the subwoofer seems to disconnect and I can hear and feel the bass disappear, but it comes back on fairly quick after. Overall a really nice soundbar system that doesn’t break the bank!

Amazing very easy to use. The quality is very good. I never had anything Bluetooth like this everything I’ve always owned was wired so this is definitely a upgrade and it has an app so it’s very easy to use on your phone. Also could connect to the TV very easy but for what I just use for it’s amazing.

I liked that the setup was very easy. It works well with my PS5 and my Sony A80K television. I had to modify some settings to optimize the performance for Dolby Atmos. Make sure you check your PS5 and TV settings to make any adjustments. The only downside I see is that the sub bass cuts off at a pretty high frequency, so you are missing some of the very low end. Its noticeable sometimes with music but not at all with gaming. I get big booming bass and its quite awesome. Overall, I am happy with the system and would strongly recommend for gamers.
