    Pricy girl tax

Logitech G735 initial out-of-the-box review with no software customizations: Pros: - dual device audio mixing/playback - comfier for smaller heads, glasses, earrings - voice sounds less tinny than other mics - rgb (personally don't care about this, I would sacrifice the lights for the headset to be 25g lighter) Cons: - mic picks up background noise easily (typing, meowing, chatter, etc) - mic tends to cut off at the end of speech or higher pitches - rf range is pretty short/can't handle going down/upstairs - not much noise isolation (personally don't care unless the leaf blowers are out) - expensive for what you get $160 Logitech doesn't even give you an aux cord. You have to buy the aux cord, different colored ear pads, and the carrying case separately. In comparison, out-of-the-box Razer Barracuda: Pros: - mic handles background noise better - rf range works even down/upstairs - significantly better noise isolation - price less than half $70 Cons: - doesn't support audio mixing - switching between audio sources kind of annoying - could be smaller and comfier/less pinched Final thoughts: The Logitech g735 is comfy and convenient with dual device playback. However, it has a girl tax on it and they copped out on the mic and older Bluetooth version. For the price, the mic quality doesn't match the rest of the components. Logitech can charge so much for this headset because there aren't any lightweight wireless gaming headsets for smaller people. I'm looking for a wireless rf headset with Bluetooth for both work (Mac) and gaming (PC, console, mobile) that won't pick up background noise from family members or coworkers. The G735 check off everything except the mic. I hope Logitech, Razer, or literally any other hardware company makes more headsets that fit comfortably on smaller heads. I'll be waiting for a better headset that does everything I want. Meanwhile, I'll keep testing these and the Razer before I decide which one will do the job for now.

Good headphones, don’t listen to the static review

I like these a lot! The removable mic is very handy if you have somewhere to store it while not using. The static sound that people write about is actually something easily fixable on the headphones themselves, the wheel that is not the volume is fixing it in a second. After setting them up I got the static in certain frequencies and managed to fix it that way, never had a problem since. The headphones themselves give good sound and are pretty sound proof for gamer headphones, the fake leather could be better but after using them every day for hours for the past few months they look like new so I can’t complain. Connectivity and sound are great and easy so no problems there. The charge lasts quite long (about a 5 days/week depending on use and I use them every day). Overall very satisfied even though the price point is a little high (I bought on sale and so should you)

Consider me influenced, but I had to get this after seeing it hyped up in almost everyone’s gaming setup that I follow online. It’s pretty pricey, but you pay for what you get and I’m really happy I did. it’s the comfiest headset I’ve ever worn, and I love how the soft pastel lighting looks. There’s plenty of ways to customize the headset through the software, the software itself seems pretty user friendly and simple. The sound is nice and crisp and I could definitely wear these for hours with no discomfort. I did have an issue once where the headset seemed to disconnect for an unknown reason and I ended up having to uninstall it from my pc and restart it, that seemed to do the trick, it could have just been an issue on my pc though. it hasn’t happened again since so it could’ve been some fluke. Overall I’m really happy with it though, if you have a white setup or just want some cozy vibes, you need this headset!

I am going to be honest, I didn’t think I was going to like these when I got them. I had a previous Atmos engaged headset that had finally given up the ghost and was no longer charging. The price on this was good and I actually bought it without looking at it in person. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The fit is good, and they weigh next to nothing. And the sound quality far better than I expected for anything and its price range. They have become my go to headset for over the ear. They do music and movies in spatial sound, and the quality for calls is outstanding. They can be synced both through the USB, my computer and through Bluetooth to my cell phone at the same time. An added bonus I wear your hearing aids, the kind of go behind your ear. No feedback issues at all. It did take me a while to figure out how to turn the lighting effect off when I was not hooked up to the computer, but once I did that, I became completely satisfied with the product. I think Logitech is finally back in the game. Saying that I have to say I have no idea how well they work when you’re gaming because I don’t video game. But if you’re looking for something that’s got excellent quality and fit in this price range I give this five stars.

I absolutely love them. They are gorgeous, the microphone is amazing, and the sound quality is exactly what I am looking for as a musician (teacher) and also a gamer. However, if you want to be able to talk to people - you absolutely have to have the microphone in. It doesn't just make sound better - you have to have it plugged into the set. Connection can sometimes be an issue: I have a mac and it can be sometimes annoying to go from my phone to my computer, but I have AirPods as well now to be able to easily do phone calls from my phone to my computer and then I will just put these back on to take Zoom or Video Calls on the computer! Really a gorgeous pair of headphones and I'm glad I made the purchase. The price is a little high, but they are so pretty I think it's worth the sound that comes from them and the look! I get compliments in the airport all the time!

I was looking for an update to my Logitech G ProX wired headset and wanted to try moving to something wireless. A couple of cons right off the bat: pairing was surprisingly frustrating for what should have been plug and play, the range is surprisingly short/finnicky, headset still sometimes disconnects/has issues showing up in GHUB. My first thought was that the headband seemed less cushioned than what I have been used to, but I've worn these for upwards of 12+ hours (8 hour WFH, gaming/discord after) and have 0 complaints about comfort. Sound quality holds up as well - when it connects to GHUB properly, it's very easy to adjust sound profiles. I use an external mic so have not utilized the mic much, but appreciate that it's detachable. Overall I'm very content and it ticks enough boxes to be well worth keeping as the replacement.

So far so good!! I hope it lasts like this. Y my favorite thing about this headset aside from the sound and comfort is actually the fact that you can change out the ear pad cuffs and mic boom! This is my first Logitech headset and it’s been a good experience so far! Oh the RGB customization is also great and I’ve used this on PC, Mobile.

Overall it’s a really good headset. It’s incredibly comfortable and very good looking. It sounds great with great bass as well. I’m giving it 4 stars because at this price I feel like it should have a removable battery. If I could give it a 4.5 I would. Pros: -Great EQ -Comfort -Battery Life -Simultaneous Bluetooth and 2.4ghz connection -Looks Cons: -Price -No removable Battery -wish there was a led indicator that is always on when the mic is muted

TLDR AKA CONCLUSION: Honestly, I went in not expecting to like this headset. And testing the headset on the “flat” preset left a lot to be desired. But the Custom EQ completed changed that to be a more critical/analytical sound which I prefer and allowed me to get really immersed in games. They do a ton of things right that help justify that price such as having solid battery life, great comfort, solid microphone, a plethora of different use cases, aesthetics are on point, and build quality is great. However, I ran into quite a few issues such as the Bluetooth not always connecting to things first go, the low 16-bit sound quality compared to 24-bit that you can find with the competition, the inability to use the default presets to actually take hold (as the custom EQ was the only one that took hold), issues with the PS5, limited onboard settings, and price. But I’m digging it and happy to have it a part of my collection. BUILD QUALITY: Aesthetically this is one of the most attractive headsets I’ve ever seen. Starting from the top down, the headband itself is excellent. Normally thin bands like this leave the top of my head sore but with these it feels like there is a lot of padding there, even though when you check there isn’t much there. This illusion is mostly due to them being evenly distributed across the top of your head along with the air inside being easily deflated. On the base of headband on both sides, you have bumps to tell the user which earcup is left and right along with large “L” and “R” as visual cues. The adjustment band reminds me a lot of the Apple AirPods Max as it is made from metal and smoothly adjusts up and down and then holds its place once you let go. The adjustment size is MASSIVE. Allowing it to fit small heads (not quite kid size but close) along with large/very large heads. The clamping force is light meaning if you rock out your headset will go meet the rock gods. Moving onto the earcups themselves. They are on a joint that allows it to adjust to each individual’s head, along with rotating ever so slightly anteriorly and 180 degrees posteriorly so they can lay down on your neck. They are quite wide and deep allowing most ears to fit comfortably. The padding is also ultra-soft and malleable making them uber comfortable. It’s almost like a cloud. Seriously, both the earpads and the headband are made from of the softest and cushiest material I’ve ever seen. Like I’m not usually a big tactile guy but these make me want to be that way. Even the plastic coating they use on the outer earcups themselves feel great by being kind of like a soft rubber/thick paint. The material is a type of pleather though, which means those who struggle with hot ears may not like these. As they are also a closed back headset meaning you get some mild noise isolation naturally which I personally like but others may not. They are incredibly lightweight at 260 grams so there were a lot of times I forgot they were even on my head. Making them one of the most comfortable headsets I’ve tried. They are also incredibly well built as I notice no creaking and they feel well put together. You can twist them in any direction you want, and they are just fine. So, they should last a good long time. Some nice quality of life improvements that you don’t find on other headsets are that the headband itself has a tight weave which prevents hair pulling. The earpads are also made to allow room for small earrings and glasses. Personally, I don’t rock earrings and have never had my hair pulled so I can’t comment on those. But I do wear glasses, and these are still very comfortable with them on. Additionally, you can replace the earpads with different colors which currently include lime green, pink, and white and cost $19.99 for a pair. They just pull off the headset itself, which is quite terrifying as you think you’re just going to rip off that joint. They are also not easy to put back on. So, I don’t recommend taking them off unless if you need to. As I see this as a failure point. CONTROLS: On the left earcup going top to bottom you have your power button. To turn on/off you hold it for two seconds. To turn on/off the lighting you double tap the power button. Below that is the volume wheel. It has a stiff feel to it, scrolls nicely, with very dedicated steps that are practically silent to your ear. It is unlimited so it doesn’t have a set maximum or minimum but inside the headset it will beep when at the max point but not at the minimum point. I’m not the biggest fan. As I prefer to have a hard-set maximum/minimum and if not give me a beep at both points over just one. Below that you have the mic mute button. Then you have the 3.5 mm port. Followed by the removeable microphone port. Going into the right earcup, top to bottom, you have the swap button. Which goes between 3.5 mm mode and Bluetooth/LIGHTSPEED mode. When on 3.5mm mode it will turn off Bluetooth and Lightspeed. Below that you have a volume up for LIGHTSPEED on the top and a volume up for Bluetooth on the bottom for your real time mixing of your LIGHTSPEED and Bluetooth sound. This is a neat idea that is poorly executed. As you can only volume up but never volume down which makes it hard to get the correct sound. Personally, I think they should have had a button that swapped between Bluetooth and Lightspeed so you could use volume up/down to get the perfect mix. MICROPHONE: It comes with a detachable, Discord Certified, Blue VO!CE and Nvidia Broadcast enabled, microphone. Which is a slew of technical terms that pretty much means it should sound pretty darn good. And thankfully it does. With the Blue VO!CE Filter off I think it sounds good for a headset microphone, much less a wireless one. Once you add the Blue VO!CE Filters it may sound better. As you can choose an EQ that fits your personal voice style. Personally, I left it OFF as I preferred that sound. But to say it is great/excellent would be overselling it. It’s good, it does the job, and it does it relatively well. But isn’t anything special either. You can be plugged into your PC with the LIGHTSPEED Wireless and connected to Bluetooth device and be able to use your microphone on BOTH devices at the same time. Which I thought was neat. As for some other tidbits. The microphone itself isn’t flexible… like at all. So, you pretty much get what you get. There is a dedicated mute button on the bottom of the left earcup which doesn’t make any sound to the listener when pressed for muting or unmuting. It does make a small jingle in your ear though. But otherwise, does not give you any warning you are muted. It comes with Nvidia Broadcast if you have an RTX GPU which can eliminate everything in the background. In the Logitech G Hub you can also enable SideTone which allows you to hear yourself in real time without delay and it works really well. I like it A LOT. Last, the only two negatives I can think of are that you can’t adjust game/chat volume. SOUND QUALITY: The sound on these is extremely hard to explain. It comes in at 20 Hz- 20 KHz and is 16 bit 48,000 Hz in windows. Through Logitech G Hub you do have a 5 band EQ with different presets you can choose from. I tested it out mostly with stock settings which was a “Flat” EQ. As I assume most will leave it on that. Despite that claimed “Flat” EQ it clearly has a heavy emphasis on bass and Mids. I would say it does give some nice rumbling lows making explosions and bass sound good. Then you have the mids which almost make it sound dark and veiled. But you still get some very good crips highs. Overall, it has a satisfying listening experience, but not a critical one. Seeing as the marketing for these is to “have fun gaming” it nails that. As I think most people would put these on and go, they sound good. Not great, not bad, just good. They are terrible competitive headphones. As the directional quality and imaging is slightly above average where I’m left guessing the general location of someone over knowing exactly where they are. However, I’m able to pull apart different sounds when actively listening for it. I also miss a ton of audio cues such as footsteps, reloads, and other things as the bass overbears everything. However, that is what makes them great for single player, media, and music. As vocals (both male and female) sound great and allow you to really get lost in whatever it is you’re listening to. However, if you do a custom EQ I found it completely TRANSFORMED the sound. Making it go from solid to great all around even for competitive games. As I was able to hear nearly all audio cues, directional sound was greatly improved, things sounded more realistic and crisp as it removed the muddiness, while having a great low end. Making it so I enjoyed them for competitive play and loved them for immersive play as it made me think I was actually there. My custom settings are below. I also, loved using these on my phone and TV. As the Bluetooth works well and keeps that custom sound profile. To sum this up, “Flat” EQ was adequate/good. But made me not enjoy the headset. My custom EQ makes me LOVE this headset and now I use it for nearly everything. Which was highly surprising to me. BATTERY LIFE: They report 16+ hours w/ RGB at 50% volume and 56+ hours w/out RGB at 50% volume. From my testing I got about 24 hours w/ RGB at 50% or less volume. But I think about 30% of that time I didn’t have anything playing. Which is acceptable. The 56 hours is good though. It recharges via USB C. It doesn’t have any fancy tech for quick charging. There is a little LED above the power button that will flash green while charging and when done will turn off. You can see the, battery level in Logitech G Hub.

Plugged it into the front, broke as soon as my chair turned to the right. If i plugged it into the back and push my computer case back in its place, it would also damage it. Figure out how to make it less out there, this was a waste of $200. Currently using it with an aux cord but… I shouldnt have to do this. If the usb looked anything like the Razer Barracudas, it would be much better.
