Use both bins, and it takes twice the time

I was shocked and disappointed to find that cooking food in both bins requires you to double the cooking time! The manual states this clearly, but the external packaging definitely does not. I hooked up a watt meter and ran some tests. Sure enough, it pulls 1600 watts running one bin, and 1600 while running both bins (with her entirely separate and have separate heating elements and fans). That makes sense since you don’t want to blow your circuit breaker. What is very disingenuous about this is that you are setting a temperature and a time on the unit itself, e.g. 390° for 20 minutes. Obviously this means it is not actually running either at 390° when you’re running both bins since they tell you to double the time when running both. You may be better off buying two single drawer units and operating them on separate circuits in your house.

My air came without the meat thermometer. The amount you pay for ninja products, all items should be checked before shipping. Makes me wonder if the item i purchased had been returned and resold.

They sent me a used item so I returned it. Didn’t even match the box. It is now August 21st and I still haven’t gotten my refund.

its not worth it.. with 2 tiny separate boxes to cook because if we buy single cooking unit ..feel a lot bigger.

Considering the price, it doesn't deliver. The cooking takes longer than expected and it's not as uniform as it's advertised. If only oil spray is used, the food is dryer and less flavorful (I compared fries in the air fryer with those made in a convection oven, side by side). The smart cooking technology is essentially a timer that delays (and hence synchronizes) the cooking start for one of the two baskets based on the required time for the food in each basket. Lot's of "big words", but not much substance. If one has a convection oven this is not a must-have, especially considering that the space in the drawers is limited. I did not try the dry food function yet, that may be a nice feature to have. It also makes less smoke/smell/heat that a conventional oven. I would give it 3 stars, but I took one more out because of the, in my opinion unjustifiable, much higher price compared to other models.

I bought an air fryer to pick up in 2 days and I've been waiting for 7 days. I'm sorry I can't give it more stars, at least Best Buy will reward me. That was a New Year's gift and today is January 3rd. What do you think?
