Owlet Dream Sock
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have a new baby in the family and this Owlet Dream Sock has been a lifesaver! As a new parent, getting restful sleep is hard when you are constantly worrying about the baby. But the Owlet Dream Sock has changed the game for me, and I would highly recommend this product! It was very easy to setup – all I had to do was download the app and from there, the directions were very easy to follow. My favorite features of this product are the “sleep assist” feature that notifies you if your baby isn’t sleeping well, and the tips you are given to help improve sleep patterns and routines. Not only does it help my baby sleep better, but it also allows me to sleep better knowing that my baby is okay. Now all I need is the camera to complete the set!

Top Baby Registry Must Have!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Owlet Dream Sock is a must have for first time parents, helping ease your mind when it comes to the safety and well being of your baby, while they sleep. My sons' sock is connected to the Owlet Dream app via my Android phone, along with my Owlet cam. I receive consistent and accurate notifications regarding his movement, heart rate, when he wakes up, and how he slept overall. The app was also able to detect patterns for his sleep/wake schedule for naps and overnight. Included in the box are 4 socks in various sizes with a maximum weight of 30lbs. Setup was easy and there is so much helpful info within the app including direct access to Owlet customer support and how-to videos. I believe the Dream Sock has improved not only my sleep but my sanity too. I highly recommend pairing it along with the Cam, but it's not at all required. Overall, Owlet provides such an easy way to check on our little one to ensure he's safe while getting a good nights sleep. This is definitely an item I recommend to any parent, especially for the newborn stage.

A Great System for New Parents
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Owlet is an amazing system. I would highly recommend the system for new parents. The support isn’t great but they do what they can to help. The sock is super simple to put on your little one and providing the heart rate makes you sleep a little better at night. Due to an FDA ruling, They are no longer allowed to give oxygen level live and must give it to you as an average every 10 minutes. When you setup OwletDream, Don’t get frustrated though since the new app which you have to download isn’t the best in the beginning. My wife and I could only get it to work on our apple devices and after uninstalling / reinstalling it twice and waiting a few hours it just started to work and we haven’t had any issues at all. It is pricey but worth it for the peace of mind.

Peace of mind!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for our preemie to monitor her sleep and to make sure she was ok while sleeping. Definitely gives us peace of mind. Easy set up. Our daughter was 4 lbs when starting to use it. It stays put better when she wears a footed sleeper under her swaddle. Otherwise it's a little bit big on her tiny foot and shifts some, causing the alarm to go off. Also, the alarm is a nursery song, so not something crazy alarming. Would recommend!

Perfect Sock
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall an awesome product. We had the Gen 3 sock before and it was way over the top when it came to the notifications. The dream sock is the perfect fit and provides parents with the confidence when using it. The system is easy to setup and use. Love the size options as they age. The color choice is great. Our baby was in the NICU for a breathing concern; so it’s great to observe the readings on the fly to make sure no issues. Again awesome product.

Great for Grandparents!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to use when I have my grandbabies stay at my house overnight. Their parents have one they use at home and I wanted them to feel comfortable when the babies are with me. I love how easy the app set up and usage is. Thankfully, it's never alerted me to any heartrate/breathing issues! I like that I am able to share the babies sleeping data with their parents so they can see how the night went. This Owlet lets me rest better knowing it is monitoring the babies while they are in another room down the hallway and will alert me if I need to go check on them. Nothing like this was available when my children were babies and therefore I was a nervous wreck those first 6 months of their lives. I'm grateful for this new technology that helps enable us to keep our babies and grandbabies safe and healthy!

No information overload
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will say that I have used the Owlet smart sock before. While I was a fan, I thought that maybe the amount of information if gave could actually worsen anxiety for parents. Especially with the alarms. I think simplifying the information like the Owlet Dream Sock is actually the right move. Setup is easy enough. You choose which of the 4 sock sizes work. Unfortunately, my baby has monster feet despite being 6 months, but I think the 18 month limit is great because past that, inquisitive babies just tear it off. Having just simple information about sleep quality is honestly all you need. When they are awake, they 100% are going to have supervision. And you will definitely know that they are awake. It is when they are sleeping that you want that peace of mind and monitor. So knowing about my baby's sleep quality and how I can make adjustments is more valuable than knowing my baby's oxygen saturation 24/7. If my baby starts getting restless, you get a notification for assist to come and help soothe. Just like the information you get on smartwatches, it tracks the times when the baby is awake, in light sleep, in deep sleep, and in REM sleep. Battery life is awesome. Charging is very quick. All in all, I have been very happy with it!

Newborn worries
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is very easy to use and set up. It keeps track of the babies sleep as well as the Heart rate and oxygen saturation. Bad part about it is that it could damage your child tissue. It has a red light that irritates the skin and could end up burning or leaving the foot red. The oxygen saturation only reads every 10 minutes. It is not continuous.

Good basic sleep data but alarm is obnoxious
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The packaging is nice and the instructions are easy to follow. The sock can be fitted on the left or right foot and can be sized according to the baby. It does a decent job of monitoring heart rate and sleep quality. However that’s where the good ends, at least for us. It doesn’t hold a charge long and when the battery drains the base alarms obnoxiously until the sensor is placed to charge. When the battery goes in the middle of the night we have to wake the baby to remove the sock and put the sensor on the base to charge. Same loud alarm issue if the sock shifts on the foot and the sensor doesn’t pick up the heart beat. It alarms until the sock is placed properly. It’s great if working as intended solely for heartbeat but not good for an active sleeper. You can temporarily dismiss the alarm in the app but its like hitting a snooze button and goes off again soon after. I even wonder if we may have a faulty sock. The only vitals monitored is the heart beat. Other then that the sock monitors the baby’s sleep habits. It advises whether the baby is soundly asleep, lightly sleeping or awake, all of which we can pretty much see ourself on a baby monitor. This is probably good for a swaddled newborn but once they start moving actively throughout the night, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're prepared to get up every hour to adjust it and can deal with the constant alarms. The main purpose and what the app advertises constantly is the sock is for "developing good sleep habits". Our baby was already sleeping soundly through the entire night. We are more interested in vitals. We could live with the somewhat limited data but the constant alarms were the dealbreaker for us after a few nights.

Peace of Mind
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are probably the parents that worry all too much and realize it. We love how simple this app is, how easy it was to setup, and how it stays on all night! Our biggest concern was how our son could take it off, every time we have seen him try to take it off, he has been unable to. This is a wonderful idea/gift for any worry-wort/helicopter parent.
