I recently picked up the Poly Voyager 4310 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones, and they’re exactly what I needed for work and calls. The single-ear design is super comfortable, allowing me to stay aware of what’s happening around me while still getting great audio quality. The noise-cancelling feature works surprisingly well, cutting out background noise so I can focus on calls or listen to music without distractions. Battery life is fantastic—I can go all day without needing to recharge, and when I do, the charging is quick. It also pairs easily with multiple devices, which is a huge plus for switching between my phone and laptop during the day. The microphone quality is crystal clear. If you’re looking for a reliable, comfortable, and clear single-ear headphone for work or casual use, the Poly Voyager 4310 is a solid choice. I highly recommend it for anyone who spends a lot of time on calls or just wants a hassle-free Bluetooth headset!

I am an over the road truck driver and i have tried many bluetooths to no avail. This is by far the most comfortable and well designed bluetooth headset I have tried . I do not like over the head, but I am willing to overlook it since it is comfortable and has excellent talk time and superior range. Way better than the blue parrot brand. I highly recommend.

I bought these because I work from home, and I needed really good noise cancelling headphones. THESE ARE THEM!! They’re comfortable and can be worn for long periods of time. The mute button is placed conveniently. And the mic is adjustable!!

the headphones are not the best quality. Noise canceling is good but it doesn’t pick up audio the best or even extend to the mouth or barely fit over the average sized man’s head

so please with the quality and connectivity and ease of use. connects to two devices simultaneously, in my case my primary cell phone and my hiby DAP. gets a little sweaty in the bakersfield ca heat at 100 degrees but not the piece itself but the foam earpiece understandably. i rate it higher the the equivalent blue parrot 350 and more stylish.

Solid headset. Microphone clarity is great. Sound quality has a little to be desired but nothing deal breaking (the mids and highs are hidden by the lows). The buttons could use a little more resistance so that you don't accidentally press them when putting in or removing the headset.

    Poly Plantronics Voyager 4310-exemplary performer

This is the Plantronics Voyager 4310 UC Bluetooth Headset by Poly. Plantronics was bought by Poly, a leader in office conference phones. Plantronics has been a leader in Bluetooth headsets for many years. One of their over-the-ear models set the standard in design and performance in that category. So beloved is their iconic design of that product that it has been copied by the worst in the industry, delivering inferior products. Now, that’s a great design! Voyager 4310 is a new product with a number of positive attributes. The single-ear over-the-head with boom mic is not new or unique. What is does and how it performs are exemplary. Let’s get into the particulars. The headset’s padded headband is adjustable for all day comfort. With one ear covered, ambient sounds are not blocked to the user. With one speaker, it is designed for productivity on the road, in a home, home office or for use in a traditional office setting. The boom mic can be flipped for use on either ear. A mute button is on the boom. Plantronics has an iOS and Android app, PLT Hub, that is a must for greatest satisfaction. Within the app users will find firmware updates, general settings, tutorials, and a duplication of the little packed-in card that details, “Buttons & Lights” use. This is very handy. In addition, the app provides current available Talk Time and serial number of the connected headset. Finally, should the headset become buried or if it goes AWOL, a tap on the Find MyHeadset sends loud tones through the speaker. If found, a tap on the ”Found” button ceases the tones. General settings include 16 language choices, toggles for Call Announcement, Audio Channel Tone, Notification Tones, Online Indicator, Ringtone, HD Voice (for wideband audio that is said to enhance speech clarity IF the user’s phone and services carrier supports the feature). HD Voice “consumes significant battery power, resulting in reduced talk time.” Additional settings include a Mute Reminder, either Off, When I Speak (and audible reminder) or at selected timed intervals. Deeper into Mute, there are choices of Mute Alerts to be Voice, Double Tone or Single Tone. An incoming second call notification can be set to ring once, ring continuously or ignore. When the volume setting is at minimum or maximum, there are choices of how the user is alerted, with either a tone or voice. Deeper into this, these tones can be selected to be heard at every level or only at minimum or maximum volume. It can be disconcerting to hear no sidetone on a call. This is the amount of the user’s voice fed back into the headset. Set for low, medium or high. There is an available Anti-Startle (G616) Noise Exposure setting. This industry standard protects against acoustic shock from a sudden high volume. Within this category are choices to limit daily exposure to either 80 db or 85 db. These settings are specified by and reflective of current legislation. Finally, in this area, are selections for daily device use of 8 hrs, 6 hrs, 4 hrs or 2 hrs. Very thoughtful!. Within the Settings area, the final selection is Reset Device. Employing what the manufacturer calls, “dual-mid Acoustic Fence technology,” the headset virtually eliminates background noise. Connectivity is easy. Shipping with a BT700 USB-A adapter, the headset connects with a nearby computer. Get up and stretch, move about and wander up to 164 feet away under ideal conditions. Fully charged, wireless use is pegged at up to 24 hours of talk time. As a wired headset connected to a computer with the included cable, there is unlimited talk time and the headset charges at the same time. Plantronics Voyager 4310 UC Bluetooth Headset is certified for Microsoft Teams. **WHAT’S IN THE BOX** • Headset • Charging cable and USB adapter • Carrying bag with a tiny pocket for the tiny USB-A to USB-C adapter • Documentation **THE SETUP** READ and Re-READ the instructions. Download PLT Hub app. Power on and pair. Learn and perform the desired settings. Charge as needed because it’s time to . . . **PUT IT TO THE TEST** The best way to test any headset is to use it. First up, I made a call to one of my friends who is accustomed to rendering an opinion of the call quality. A big thumbs on this one. He said it sounded perfect, with absolutely no artifacts and nothing in the negative column. In other words, he said his attention was NOT drawn to the fact that I was on a headset. While on the call, I started at full volume a little video of big city background noise that includes cars and truck and sirens. He said the background sounds were barely perceptible. That was quite impressive. Practice, practice, practice adjusting from the headset such things as volume, accurately pressing the dump call button, summoning the virtual assistant (Siri), accurately finding and using the Mute button on the mic boom, and more. After three days of exclusively using this headset at my desk, I can say with conviction that it is easily all-day comfy. Siri likes it and responds accordingly. What’s missing? Pricier headset provide auto muting when the boom mic is raised. Pricier headsets come with to speakers and ANC (Automatic Noise Cancellation). Pricier headsets come with a metal charging stand and one is optionally available for this one. Plantronics Voyager 4310 UC Bluetooth Headset is feature rich and is a genuine value in its class. I know of no other in its class that does a better job and includes as many essentials as does this headset. **CONCLUSION** Just about perfect! Great job, Poly. Plantronics Voyager 4310 UC Bluetooth Headset is highly recommended. **WARRANTY** Manufacturer’s two-year limited warranty

The Plantronics Voyager 4310 Headset is what I call an operator-style headset which has many uses but for me, is a good tool for at-home work in these days when many of us are working from home part or full time. By operator style, I mean that on one side you have a cushioned earpiece/speaker with a rotating microphone arm, and on the other, just a cushioned flat area that rests against your head. These types of headsets come in all types but I find this type to be the best when working from home, as when both of my ears are covered it makes my head get hot, and blocks out background noise that I might actually want to hear, being at home. A single-earphone type is more comfortable and practical in this regard. The microphone extension can also be swiveled around to the other side, so you can use the single earpiece on either side of your head. It’s decently built but not quite rock solid, meaning if you take care of it you should have no problems, but don’t toss it around when not in use, and it probably won’t hold up long if kids use it. The Voyager 4310 can connect to your cell phone via Bluetooth, your computer or laptop via a USB adapter, or even via a USB cable if you prefer. If using on your computer, they suggest using the adapter over direct Bluetooth for better sound quality. It has two mics with noise canceling so background distractions are filtered out on the other end. I found the sound quality on my calls to be really good, and so far, haven’t had any “blackouts”, where there’s a momentary disconnection (as I’ve had happen on some other headsets). It has a 50 meter range allegedly, but my house isn’t that large. Using my cell phone which is propped up in the middle of a ranch-layout home, I can wonder around to all rooms and out on the deck using this, with only a couple of instances of minor static briefly when walking around – not an issue. A small LED light comes on when in use, so if others share your space it will let them know you’re on a call so they don’t speak and interrupt you; kids will of course ignore this, but hopefully coworkers or family members will pay heed to it. I use it on Zoom mainly and a couple of tele-doctor’s type meetings and the quality was again, very good. Sound volume and answering calls can be controlled via tapping on the earpiece side. Battery life is also very good. It’s rated at 47 hours of use with 50 days of standby time. I haven’t had it long enough to be precise on these, but using it a few hours per day, I haven’t had to charge it yet since getting it, though I did top it off when knowingly about to get on a very long call as a just-in-case measure. Regardless – I don’t think people will have an issue with the battery. It takes less than two hours to charge it, so that is a plus, too. You can also download a “Plantronics Hub” app on your phone or computer that allows you to see exactly how much battery life is left, adjust basic settings, update the firmware, or find the device if it’s lost, etc. Comfort wise it’s good. I appreciate the padded earpiece, but after a couple of hours my ear did get rather warm so I had to take small breaks to air and cool everything out. I think this will vary depending on your environment and personal preferences, and I don’t consider it a negative overall, just something to be aware of in the event you may be in a hotter and/or more humid environment. The Voyager 4310 isn’t inexpensive, but you do get quite a bit for the money in terms of sound quality, comfort, and battery life. If you work from home and/or do a lot of video meetings, you’ll most likely enjoy this item.

These wireless headphones are comfortable during long sessions and are the perfect headset for your needs especially since they work well at home, then take to the office which is a seamless operation. It also can be paired with optional Voyager Office Base to connect as a traditional desk phone. Also great for desk share and hot deskers at Call Centers. Negatives: Power button is small and hard to find while wearing headset. I used the included BT700 USB dongle to connect to my desktop at home, it instantly connected right away and was fully functional out the box. After downloading the Poly windows program, it prompts me to update the dongle and headset separately, everything installed without a hitch. I also connected to my phone (Goggle Pixel 6) via Bluetooth (Android Poly app was not available at the time but is coming) which also connect quickly with no issues. At the office I have the headset connected via Bluetooth, the devices switched between devices and performs well throughout the day. Another option is that headphones can be used as a wired Headset with USB cable mode and is Teams/Zoom certified. There is an on-call indicator to let others know when you are on a call. Sound quality is good with the noise canceling dual mic that eliminates background noise. Callers stated that they could me clearly and hear nothing going on in the background, at home I use to have turn off my TV during Zoom calls now I no longer need to do that. This is the same at work in the office where many co-workers are on the phone with clients. The Plantronics Voyager battery last 3 days with a whopping 164 feet of range if you use the dongle wireless. To sum it up: This device performs well and highly recommended to connects to calls from: PC, smartphone. Includes USB-A or USB-C connectivity with BT700 Adapter. 47hr listening time, 1.6hrs for a full chars. Includes an on-call indicator to let others know when you are on a call. Crystal-Clear audio for a better voice communication.

About the Voyager 4310 UC The Voyager 4310 UC is a single-ear Bluetooth headset designed for use in the home, office, or on the go. It features a dual mic with noise cancellation for the microphone to mitigate background noise on your calls. A comfortable padded headband, over the ear headphone, and long battery life help you all day long while the Bluetooth connection gives you wireless freedom to move around. Packaging & What It Comes With The packaging was a little strange. It looks like a straight forward box with components that slide out. Upon opening you will see that there is an outer packaging for display with an internal cardboard box. The two seem to be glued together making for an awkward opening. It’s hard not to tear the outer box, and it’s difficult to close back. Inside the box you will find the headset fully assembled. There is a USB Bluetooth adapter, carrying case, USB-C to USB-A cable, USB-A to USB-C adapter, and instructions. Features Noise-Cancelling Mic - The headset boasts a noise cancelling dual mic with Acoustic Fence Technology for blocking out sounds from your background so that they don’t end up on your call. Bluetooth – It comes with its own Bluetooth adapter, so you don’t need to purchase anything separately to get this to work. Also, it will work with Bluetooth supported laptops or through Bluetooth 5.2 on your mobile device. The range should be up to 50 feet. Online Indicator – There is a light indicator to show when you are on a call. Long Talk Time – Have up to 24 hours of wireless talk time. Use a cord for unlimited talk time. MS Teams Button – Has a dedicated button for MS Teams. First Impressions The headset has a sturdy build and looks like an appropriate headset for the office. The padding is thick and comfortable on the headband, and the ear pad is soft as well. The USB cord is long enough to plug into a desk placed laptop if you need to use it in a wired manner (say you forgot to charge or were losing charge during a call). The USB-A to USB-C adapter is also nice for flexibility. The carrying case is nice to have for the charging cable and adapter pieces. Connectivity You can pair straight to Bluetooth if you’d like. This product does have an available app for your phone. I recommend downloading the app first and connecting through the app. The app gives you many control options for the headset, and the connection seems to work better with it. Also, there was a firmware update available that required the app to load. I tested two of these headsets. The first one that I got was defective out of the box. It lost connection with all laptops and phones that I tried. Sometimes that happens even with the best products. I simply exchanged it for the second headset and things went just fine from there. For the purposes of testing I tried a wired USB connection to laptop, a Bluetooth connection to laptop, and a Bluetooth connection to my phone and all worked well. Buttons and Call Indicator The buttons on the headset were generally easy to use and find. I appreciate being able to check the battery level so I know before I go into a long meeting. The Call Indicator Light is really nice to have. It simply flashes red on the outside of the ear piece to show that you are actively on a call. It would be nice if more people in my office had this. Many use earbuds that you can’t see until you are about ready to speak to them. I get tired of having to mime “Are you on a call?” before I can talk to them. Battery I am still using my first charge, so I do not have any indication that the battery is less than stated. Pretty solid here. Also have the corded option for when it is time to charge again. Comfort The headband is very padded and comfortable. The ear piece is over-the-ear and is also well padded. Very comfortable on which is important if you use it all day long. Clarity The sound quality is very good when listening to others. Others say that my voice was very clear and came through strongly. The Acoustic Fence Technology seemed to help quite a bit keeping my background noise out of the calls. This is for both MS Teams calls and mobile phone calls. I’m giving the Voyager 4310 4 stars. I would give it 4.5 stars if that were an option. It seems to be made well, has a professional appearance, works as it said it should, and is clear on both ends of the call.

These headphones aren’t good for driving. I only had these for one day. I returned after noticing the pc connection part. They may be better for computer pairing. Seems cheaply made and I used them for one day. Every time I called someone there were patches of silence when someone was talking. No connectivity issues.

The Poly Voyager Wireless Headset is perfect for Home office or Business Office. It’s comfortable and easy to use. The only drawback is the placement of the On/Off switch. It’s not easily accessible as it’s located on the bottom of the earpiece. The Voyager headset comes with the headset, USB Bluetooth adapter, USB-C to USB-A cable, USB-A to USB-C adapter, User Quick Start Guide, and nylon drawstring carry pouch. The headset Bluetooth connected quickly and easily to my Laptop and Smartphone. It came fully charged and ready to pair. When turn on, a prompt tells you that the headset is on and the status of the battery. The earpiece and head piece are well padded and comfortable and the headband is adjustable to fit any size head. The microphone piece has a mute button on it which is convenient during video conferencing. The Voyager Headset works extremely well for Zoom and Microsoft Team meetings. It’s noise cancelling ability works to a point. Due to the fact that it only has one earpiece you can hear some outside noise. However, even with outside noise, it’s still very clear during phone calls and video calls. They Poly Voyager Wireless Headset has a long wireless range. So far, I can walk around my apartment and outside and still have no issues with the calls falling or breaking up. SPECS: - Up to 47 hours listening time - Up to 24 hours talk time - Up to 164ft/50m wireless range - Quick charge 15min for 10 hours - Can be used with either Bluetooth or as a corded headset So far, I have used it for 8 one-hour Zooms and several phone conferences (approximately 4 hours) and the battery is still “high”. I don’t know yet exactly how long the charge will last. Only time will tell. Cons: - The Plantronics/Poly Voyager Wireless Headset is the location of the on/off switch. I wish it were a little higher up on the earpiece to make access easier. - It is a little pricey as compared to other headsets in its class, but I found it to one of the best sets I’ve had so far. I recommend the Plantronics/Poly Voyager Headset for those who will be using it frequently for home or business.
