These have a the best quality in sound than others, the cord is more durable and doesn’t slip out of the usb socket. No feedback issues or noise suppression issues have been experienced. It's super soft to wear, but it is not losing shape on the cushioning. This has been used now for a few weeks, so I expect that this headset will last for the value.

Great headphones with wonderful audio quality. Super adorable pink shade and the ears are super easy to swap out. The only thing I would change would be the connectivity. I use my headphones for my PlayStation so it is a little frustrating to plug them into the console rather than my controller but aside from that they’re perfect!

I was looking for a headset that would work great and be flashy when wearing during gaming events. I decided to try this one out and so thankful that I did. The headset rests very comfortably on my ears and the sound quality is amazing! The packaging was nice with everything secured for safe travels. The Setup process was very easy as well, as soon as you plug in the USB headset it brings up the Razer software to install. I strongly recommend installing this software to receive the full benefits / functionality of the headset. Technically it will work just fine if the software is not installed however there are so many features that would be missed. The software itself is easy to use and provides some great customizations for the sound equalizer/mixer , spatial sound and lights. The headset does 7.1 surround sound so you can really take advantage of the spatial audio modes. There is a distinct difference between "Game Mode" and Movie Mode" it adds some additional spatial sound which is nice when playing movies. The app tries to pick the best sound modes for the games you have installed onto the system with is a nice touch. However you are able to customize it for each game if you wish to get very detailed. The lighting on the headset if very bright and fun to change up. Speaking of changing up the ears are fun to switch out too! The server not other purpose than cosmetic and easy to change out. Overall I have really loved this headset and recommend it for anyone looking for a fun great sounding headset of high quality!

The Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Pro is truly catered to those who love to stream, given some of the features included in this headset. But let’s start where it counts first; it is a Razer headset from the Kraken lineage. It packs Razer Triforce 50mm drivers that deliver clear, powerful sound and supports 7.1 surround sound for accurate positional audio. The ear cushions are made of hybrid fabric and leatherette cushions for all-day comfort and passive noise cancellation. The detachable cardioid mic provides enhanced, clear voice capture. Finally, there’s the sound customization, which can be done using the Razer Synapse software. Then there’s the Razer-esque traits: RGB controlled by Razer Chroma. There is RGB on the outer body of each cup, and RGB from the detachable ears. Yes, ears. This is, after all, the Kraken Kitty V2 Pro, Quartz edition. Quartz is the color name, but it’s obvious this thing is pink. And it’s actually very pleasant to look at in combination with the gray ear cushions and inner headband. The ears are hot swappable, so you don’t have to unplug the wired USB cable when changing out ears. The ears are seated firmly to the headband, yet are relatively easy to pull straight out. There is no “clicking” mechanism to keep them in place. They just sit snugly on top just fine. One feature that caters to the streaming community is its ability to be “stream reactive”. That means the ears can be triggered to react to your viewers. This can be done using the Razer Streaming Companion App. New subs and donations can trigger customizable lighting effects, for example. Another feature is using the headset during cosplay. You can simply connect the wired USB to a power bank and you’ll have RGB lighting effects available anywhere. Plugging into a power bank will use the default light effect on the headset, and this can be customized using Synapse and saved. Lastly, the mic is detachable if you’re utilizing a dedicated microphone. It might be an aesthetic thing to do without, but if you’re using it, the mic performs very well, and it is color matched with a Quartz arm and gray microphone tip. This headset, to me, is a lot of fun without doing a whole lot. It’s definitely for the streaming and cosplay community, but if you’re not into either, you can still own a pair of headsets like these. They come in Quartz and Black, and come with a 2 year warranty.

Fun and well made. My daughter is very happy with these. Here are her comments. First of all, I should say that I’m super surprised on how nice the quality of these headphones are sound wise, especially when I have heard so many things about the first wave of razer kraken kitty headphones (the v1) were. I have a really nice, even more expensive gaming headset from another leading brand that I use all the time. When I compare these to the new Kraken Kitty V2 Headphones I would say the sound is a little bit better since these fit much better. They actually fit around my ears and seal unlike my current set, meaning there’s more noise cancellation. I saw somebody complain about them being too tight, and I thought I had a big head, but no these are nowhere near too tight, they’re perfect, and in my experience my headphones get more comfortable over time. I really like the light up features of these too! I’ve had lots of light up headphones through time, and these are the brightest, with white actually looking white and not like a muted yellow tone, same with the other colors, they light about as good as my RGB Corsair fans on my pc. I tried the different ears (Kitty, Bear and Bunny) and they all connected instantly and worked perfectly with no issues. You can access all the lighting and sound features by downloading Razer Synapse Software. You get tons of options with this app. Giving you control of each light, and having it sync to the sound. You can even match the colors of your other compatible RGB devices. The ability for the to be reactive to live streaming is fun as well. Microphone is average there’s nothing super great about, but it does sound good. The other nice feature is the fact it can detach and re-attach it whenever you want, which is really nice. The USB cord is about 6 ft long and braided. Good length and hopefully will endure the use over time. So overall, I would say my daughter, who is a heavy gamer, absolutely love these. Quality and comfort are both very good.

Synapse is how you'll control the lighting, the effects, toggle spatial audio (if supported), and use the EQ to customize both your audio AND microphone experiences. == THE EARS == These are the star(s) of the show. I love that Razer has included all three (kitty, bunny, and bear) in the box. I don't know if there will be different ears released later or there will be 3rd party options (fuzzy ones would be AWESOME), but I love that there's a variety to work with right out of the box. The ears are interchangeable, so you can mix them up (one bunny and one bear for example) or even use only one. It's great that you're given the freedom to have whatever look what you want, whenever you want it. == THE MIC == Some people prefer a retractable mic, but I greatly prefer having a detachable mic (the audio quality is usually better compared to retractable IMO). I've used this headset in multiple apps (Discord, Zoom, Teams) and everyone said my mic quality was really clear and great. == AUDIO == For a gaming headset, the audio quality out of the box is really good. The ear pads are thick, but comfortable (even if you wear glasses like I do). The noise isolation is REALLY good too. What helps make the audio even better is that you can setup different audio profiles using the EQ in Synapse. You can have an audio profile for when you're playing FPS games, one for music, and one for general use. == BOTTOM LINE == Overall, I really like the Kraken Kitty V2 Pro. My only real complaint is that the only connection is via USB-A. I'm assuming this is due to powering the RGB. So, if you want to use this headset with your PS5 it better be close to you.

First impressions - A Well packed Razer product ! - I removed the headset from the package along with the accessories and changeable ears. Yes - these are a total riot. While this product is intended for our other household users who love to game - I thought I would test drive them for a few work calls with my team-mates on zoom and teams. These are plug and play for both and do not require the additonal software from Razer to fine tune them. Much to the hilarity of my co-workers, I tried out various sets of ears across meetings. I also discovered that you can mix each type of ear if you would like a different look. It is also possible to use these without any of the ears attached - in which case you have a wired kraken V2 headset. Teams, Zoom, Xbox, PS4, Older PC running windows 10 - Worked perfectly across all of them. Almost intantly detected when plugged in. Audio and mic quality - While the pink shell and light up ears might prove to be a distraction to your coworkers :) The audio quality is excellent. The headband and ear cuffs are both soft and I did not experience any annoying hot spots or squeezing after wearing them for two hours watching television. While the ears and coloring are somwhat novel - Razer chose to design this on one of it's best and highest performance headsets. These do not disappoint for general use in games, just watching movies or streaming TV. These do sound better in the mid and high ranges to me than the Kraken V1 - which I own in plain old boring black. What I love - The hilarity and fun factor of headphones with glowing ears. Detachable mic ! Overall - a great set of wired gaming / streaming / heaphones with mic !

I was not expecting the RAZER KRAKEN KITTY V2 PRO Wired RGB Gaming Headset to be so much fun. The sound is amazing! The interchangeable ears light up and look great! I can be a bunny, kitty or even a bear by changing the ears and each of them are so cute. The pink color lets me still be feminine while playing the tough guy in my game. The center on the ear pieces themselves light up as well. The headset is so comfortable even wearing eye glasses. It is not too tight nor is it so loose that it moved when I moved. All I did was plug the headset into my laptop with the included/attached USB cord. The pink cord itself is heavy duty and plenty long enough to allow me to move while using it. I later downloaded the software to my laptop and found so many more features. This is a great headset for all ages. I didn’t use the microphone much so I can’t say what it’s like. I’m thinking these will be great in zoom meetings as well though. I even watched an action packed movie while wearing them. The movie sounded great as well. I like my headsets to be multitaskers and this headset fits my wants and needs perfectly.

Surprised at the quality of this compared to the Quartz Kraken. The soundstage is still quite wide and the EQ presets are a bit extreme but with some gaming and listening to songs I know well, the EQ does a decent job of allowing you hone in on what sounds good to you. The ears are simple to replace and they look and feel solid. There is some flex with the headband of course so the ears struggle be perfectly flush when in use but it's a minor thing. The earpads aren't as cool to the touch as the regular Krakens but do just fit over the ear and onto your head and are comfortable, although the pressure on the head is a bit more than the regular Krakens but not much. The microphone captures a surprisingly natural sound and is easily removable. The enhancements I found to be not very useful for noise removal as they make the mic a bit too quiet and there isn't much in the way of adjustment or higher gain threshold which is unfortunate since it's a USB mic. The ears and lighting look great, I just wish there were more patterns and that allow color editing. A bit expensive but a solid headset if you're going both looks and function.

This headset is so purretty! Fits comfortable and easy to adjust. Very loud audio. I leave the laptop volume to 20-30 only else it’s to loud. The hard mute is very handy and easy accessible. I used the Razer Synapse software to adjust my mic for the most optimal settings to block out all the background sounds. A must have in my opinion. The software also allows customization to the lights too. There are 4 in total both ears and both ear cups. Use the software to make custom looks to personalize it to your liking! Easy to clean makeup off the ear foam with makeup wipes. Just don’t wipe to hard else it can fuzz the cups a little. Let it sit and its good as new! 10/10 would recommend. I get so many compliments. Plus it’s a great conversation starter too.

I am enjoying using this headset for my gaming and online video streaming. It is well made and very good quality. I love that I can interchange the ears, from kitty ears to bunny ears then bear ears, it so easy to cycle the cuteness! I also like that the ears light up when plugged. They stay lighted up unless you unplug the headset. I also like that the headset is a plug and play device so it was detected and connected to my pc instantly without any issues. Another feature that I like is the mute-unmute button on the rear of the left side. I can quickly toggle the button if I need to mute myself. Beside that button is the volume scroll which also comes in handy when I needed to adjust the volume of the sound. The sound quality is also very good and the noise cancelling feature works very well to muffle the outside noise. I love listening to music and watching videos using this headset. I think the sound is calibrated well because I have not gotten a headache yet which I almost always get whenever I use a noise cancelling headset. If there’s one comment I can point out, it would be the quality of my voice from the receiver’s end. At one point my friend told me she thought I was sick because my voice sound congestion. However, it was sort of fixed by moving the mic closer to my mouth. But overall I’m satisfied with this headset - perfect for gaming but can also be used for work calls as well.
