It is just plain works great, like all of rings products.

I was a little skeptic about this working, First the distance to my mailbox is about 75 feet from the house. Second the WiFi is located in the center of the house. Third the sensor requires a Bridge which is used to receive the sensor signal and transmit it to the WiFi. After setting it all up, I was excited to see it all worked perfectly. When I installed the Bridge, I placed it as far from the WiFi as I could which made the difference I suppose to make contact to the sensor.

You have to buy a bridge to work this. We have a mailbox thief in our neighborhood so I bought one of these so that when the mailman puts the mail in the box, I know it is there so that I go and get it out. I did think it made a noise if someone opens the box, but it does not it just sends you an alert the box has been tampered with, when the thief comes through in the middle of the night when he opens the mailbox, it lets me know O

My company has a drop box located outside of the building that customers can use (after hours) for documents, payments, etc. This is a fantastic way to know exactly when the things have been dropped off. We first tried to use a regular Ring motion sensor for this purpose, but the addition of the built-in antenna is what this device needed. Works like a charm and super easy to install.

Our mailbox is located on the road about 100 feet from our door. It is great to be notified when our mail has been delivered since we do not receive very much snail mail these days.

I needed extra coverage beyond the RING cameras and floodlights so these fit my need perfectly. The are designed for extreme weather & are easy to setup and tie into my existing RING system. You can set it up so when it activates, you can have it notify any or all of your other RING devices to notify you and turn on the other cameras and floodlights. Good buy for my needs.

Very helpful device. Especially with a mailbox that is 20 yards away and not with in sight from the house. That distance made it a little tricky to connect to the Ring Bridge. I had to connect while the 2 devices were close together, then install in the mailbox. That distance also drains the batteries quicker it seems. But still worth it.

I like knowing when my mail gets here but the batteries are not rechargeable and I am replacing them monthly.

I bought the sensor to make sure my mail is being delivered on time incorrectly. And as of now it’s another layer of protection to make sure no one stealing mail. I highly recommend it for anyone to be more safer with the ring ecosystem

It’s a motion sensor. Plain and simple. It does what it is supposed to do.
