An easier way to handle odd-shaped plugs

This surge protector is almost necessary these days with all the varying sizes and shapes of power bricks. From phones to the multitude of other chargers that I have, this easily handles all of them and prevents them from blocking other outlets, which is the problem I have with most other surge protectors and power strips. The added indicator lights are a nice touch, though they may be almost too bright in a dark room. Another great feature of this surge protector is the angled plug. In many cases you may want to tuck a surge protector behind your entertainment stand or something else, only to have to allow more room for the surge protector's plug, since the usually go strait out from the wall. The Rocketfish surge protector has a handy angled plug, so you could easily move furniture closer to the outlet, without having to allow much more room for the surge protector's plug. The added benefit of USB ports is also very welcome, since many devices aren't including the power brick any longer, and only provide a cable for charging.
Pros: Easy to use, smartly designed with spaced and turned outlets, plug is made at an angle so it doesn't interfere with furniture that you'd like close to the wall
Cons: it may be a bit large for some (though this is how they allow the space between outlets), the indicator lights can feel a bit bright in darker rooms.

The 12-Outlet Surge Protector from Rocketfish is the perfect replacement for my two aging power strips. The black plastic base is rugged and the outlets are spaced in various convenient locations. The back of the base has mounting holes for attaching to a solid surface. One end has coax in/out ports and around the corner are RJ45 in/out ethernet ports. A large power button is conveniently placed on top along with a “Protected” and “Grounded” indicators. Between the indicators and the outlets are a USB and USB-C output ports. A six-foot, durable power cord with a right-angle plug extends from the base near the power button.
I have two desktop computers, a laptop, USB hub, two monitors, computer speakers, a paper shredder, and a lamp attached to this surge protector. All of these have different size plugs and adapters, which fit on this protector without any crowding.
I am happy with this surge protector and I’m confident it will provide protection from surges and EM/RF interference.

This is a really well-designed surge protector that looks sleek and has plenty of outlets and room for plugging in different sized plugs. I really like how this is designed where it has several spaced out outlets on the sides, and then in the center, there are outlets that are closer together for plugs that are smaller. This allows you to really take advantage of all of the outlets with different sized plugs.
It is also great that this surge protector has a built-in USB A and USB C port. This is a compact and convenient way to power USB devices directly from the surge protector without having to plug in USB charging bricks. It would have been nice if the USB C port could do more than 20 watts for charging larger devices like laptops, but nonetheless, it is very nice to have the built in USB C port, and it is certainly adequate for powering phones and other USB C devices.
Overall, this is an excellent surge protector that I would definitely recommend! If you have many things to plug in, this is the way to go!

Such a great protector strip to keep your electronics powered up. This 12 outlet strip is fantastic for the layout that this strip offers. There are 6 outlets lined up in the center and 3 outlets on the left and 3 outlets on the right. Also built into this is a 12W USB-A, and a 20W PD USB-C. Coax in and Coax out ports are located at the bottom. There is also a network in and network out located on the bottom right. At the very top is a very easy to use on/off switch to visually show you when it's turned on.
This power strip offers so much versatility and is perfect for my tech hub. I have a lot of computers, monitors, printers, and gadgets all placed in close proximity. The strip helps me to have some peace of mind knowing that my items are protected. It's a large power strip and ideal for an area where you can easily place it for its big footprint. The 6 foot cable is helpful to easily reach a wall outlet within my home. Overall a perfect addition to any home for using up all 12 outlets without any interruptions. Bulky adapters seem to fit effortlessly on this protector strip and it's great to have an all in one unit.

Great Bang for your Buck Surge Protector

I recently upgraded my surge protector to the Rocketfish 12-Outlet/1-USB-C/1-USB 4,680 Joules Surge Protector. As someone who relies heavily on a lot of electronic devices, protecting them from power surges is crucial, and this surge protector does an excellent job.
The design of the surge protector is sleek and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb if you are not able to hide it. The bottom of the surge protector has Two cut outs, which give you the ability to mount this on the wall if you want. In terms of build quality, the surge protector is made out of a sturdy and durable plastic. The power cord is of ample length at 6ft, allowing you to place the surge protector in a convenient location without straining to reach the nearest power outlet. Moreover, the surge protector features LED indicators that inform you about the status of t connected devices. The Blue indicator lights let me know that my electronics are properly grounded and protected.
It comes with 12 outlets, 1 USB-C, and 1 USB port and a Coax in and out port, that provides ample space for all my devices, from my laptops, smartphone, soundbar, two vacuums, TV, air purifier, and a gaming console. The multiple outlets are spaced adequately apart, allowing for easy plug insertion without overcrowding.
One of the standout features of this surge protector is its impressive 4,680 Joules energy rating. This means it can absorb a substantial amount of energy during a power surge, keeping my electronics safe from potential damage. It also comes with a $50,000 warranty if the surge protector were to ever fail and your electronics were harmed due to a power surge, which is a nice piece of mind to have with this product.
The inclusion of USB-C and USB ports is a great addition, in that it allows me the convenience of charging mobile devices without the need for additional adapters or plugs. The USB ports deliver a reliable and fast charge, ensuring my phone or my significant other’s are charged up and ready to go whenever we need them.
Overall, the Rocketfish 12-Outlet/1-USB-C/1-USB 4,680 Joules Surge Protector is a top-notch choice for anyone seeking a reliable warranty backed surge protector for your electronic devices, that offers spacious room for all your electronics and even for those bulkier plugs. I can not recommend this surge protector enough, especially when comparing it to those higher priced brands out there

So now I have THREE of these. But I have three desks, three monitors, etc. and so that kind of makes sense. I mounted them under the desk so all the wires except the one I plug into the wall are cleaned up under my desk. Doing this also allowed me to take advantage of the USB charging ports with shorter cables. Thankfully I haven't had to confirm the surge protection aspects, but this is not my first set of Rocketfish products, so I trust that all my devices are now safe against surges as well.
These are the best power strips I have ever owned, The flat wall plug and the arrangement of the 3 prong outlets makes it easy to mix computers and other brick-like plugs without using up 2 or 3 of the available plugs every time. Extremely well thought out design. I can't imagine what anyone would find disappointing about them. I strongly recommend these for your critical computers and accessories!

As with electronic devices, you don't know for sure if it's gone to do the job. A surge protector is such a device. You can't tell if it works properly until a surge hits your device. You never know when a surge will hit your system. You may get small surges and your device will work fine. I have read that you should replace your surge protector every three years. This is why I bought this product from Best Buy.
I bought this one for my computer and printers, I will get another one for my TV and modem/Wi-Fi. . I recommend a minimum of 4500 joules for all electronics.

Hi RaymondV! It’s great to hear that you’re taking proactive steps to protect your electronic devices with the Rocketfish™ - 12-Outlet Strip/1-USB-C/1-USB 4,680 Joules Surge Protector. You’re absolutely right, surge protectors are a crucial part of any setup involving electronics, and it’s often hard to know their effectiveness until a power surge occurs.
Your approach of replacing surge protectors every three years is a good practice as it ensures your devices are always protected by a functioning unit. Your plan to get another one for your TV and modem/Wi-Fi sounds like a wise decision.

Excellent large surge protector with great protection and a variety of sockets. 4680J 3-line protection (L-N, L-G, N-G). The 12 AC sockets are well-spaced such that 6 of them can accommodate big chunky charging blocks without impinging on other plugs. There's one USB-A port (providing a maximum of 12W) and one USB-C port (Power Delivery, delivering a maximum of 20W) -- I suppose it would've been nice to have a few more of USB ports, but this is still a good bonus. There's Coax In and Out for antenna or cable connections, and Ethernet In and Out as well. The large power switch is easy to toggle -- possibly a little too easy, as I can imagine accidentally turning it off if something lands on it (like a cat). There are LED indicators to show if the varistor is intact ("Protected") and if the surge protector is Grounded (although I can't quite tell if the LED indicator for one can bleed into the other, making you think they're both lit).
The cable is thick but flexible enough, and I appreciate the flat 90 degree plug, since it always seems like the outlets I need to use for valuable electronics are behind furniture.
