I purchased this washer based on the high number of 5 star reviews. I am sad to say that 1) this washer cannot handle large loads, and 2) mine literally broke within 15 days of purchase. The tub will no longer spin / move - and there was an electrical smell / burn-out smell. For better or worse, I am actually having this washer REPLACED with the same model hoping that the new one does not break. I will wash smaller loads now. My other washer lasted ten years - this is ridiculous, really. I looked at a LOT of washers on this website and thought I was getting a solid washer. Not the case.

Lasted 1 year 5 months from July 2023 problem the Rinse and Spin cycle stalls and won't drain and it smelled like burn rubber good thing I bought the 5 year warranty or else I would had been screwed only 1 year warranty with manufacturer

I did my home work. As washers go, this model is simple to use. and on one site rated best bang for your buck. It's only a month old but working very well. We are not into front load machines, to many issues and poor reviews. This one has the same basic features. And the price was great. At our local best buy, indoor shopping was not allowed because of covid. I did the transaction on the sidewalk in front of store. It went very well. Delivery and setup also went well. The two delivery men had set up done in twenty minutes. And a short how to use lesson. So far so good.

I’ve had a couple washers over the years and usually bought the top of the line with all the bells and whistles. This is not that. What this is is an easy to use intuitive washer that never fails to impress. I’m hoping it last longer than the five years all my others have lasted.

I love my washer, it is the best! It is very easy to use and I have always liked Samsung, I had a Whirlpool front loader, got it from Home depot, it never worked good. I hated it!

I am getting familiar with the new technology. This new machine ais so flexible with all the options for washing clothes. At first I thought our clothes wouldn’t get clean without an agitator. However, that has not been the case. Granted we are a retired couple, but we still manage to get pretty grimy working the garden, cars and of course cooking.

good size, good price. hope it will last over 5 yrs. my last Samsung lasted about 2 yrs.

Not as good as its predecessor. Lights and noise indicators aren’t needed. Cosmetically it’s close to the original but just looks cheap. Performance cycles are now longer for reasons only they know. Kind of a letdown compared to the original. We hope it delivers as well as it’s earlier model.

My old washer was less than 3 years old. The mother board went out and repairs were more than i wanted to spend. I got this Samsung washer and LOVE it. It has everything i need and none of the bells and whistles that i didn't want. This Samsung washer is a value purchase and i would highly recommend it.

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with what can only be described as the worst washing machine ever. From the get-go, the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. The first unit I received broke down right after the first wash, leaving my laundry room flooded. After the hassle of scheduling and waiting for a replacement, the delivery person, perhaps in an act of sympathy or warning, informed me that this model was notoriously problematic. He specifically pointed out issues with the gasket, which, as he warned, breaks easily. True to his words, the second machine also failed after just one cycle, proving his insight was spot-on. My laundry room was flooded for the second time. The design and build quality of this washer seem fundamentally flawed. The gasket, a critical component for sealing the door and preventing water leaks, appears to be made from substandard materials or designed with significant oversights. This leads to not just one, but repeated failures in machines supposed to be reliable household appliances. Conclusion: Avoid this washer at all costs. Poor build quality and reliability issues make it an unwise investment. If you're looking for a new washing machine, look elsewhere to save yourself from this cycle of frustration.

Terrible - after only 3 years of use it started rusting... Why would they make a washer that comes in contact with water on a continual basis, RUST? Samsung WILL NOT repair the washer for free after only 3 years of use.

Good quality, no frills, at a good price point. Samsung isn’t made to last only good for about 5-7 years then repair is as much as new machine.

Worked properly less than 3 years. Changed all 4 supports ($35 each) for this machine after paying the diagnostic fee ($65). It didn’t fix the issue. So I refused to pay the labor fee (another $250).

This product is flooded with 5 and 4 star reviews from buyers who, in my opinion, rate these products too soon (i.e. after only a couple months). This doesn't allow a proper review on their reliability. Just about the only good thing I can say about this washer is it worked as intended for the first 1.5 years. I had heard and been warned about Samsung appliances before, but went ahead and took the risk. I was, unfortunately, wrong to. Only 6 months outside of the warranty period the washer started making an incredibly loud grinding noise, and since it was outside of warranty, Samsung wanted to charge me $300 just to send someone out to service it. I ended up declining since I would have easily sunk what I paid for it, just to get it working again. If anyone is lucky enough to read this before you purchase, do yourself a favor, save yourself both money and headaches down the road and just go with a manufacturer that has a track record of reliability (i.e. Whirlpool, Roper, Kenmore, etc.).

Bought this to replace a Samsung front load washer after only having the other for 6 months. We loved everything about the front load except the smell and the tiny issue of it putting holes in clothes, so we switched to this one and have loved it since.

I purchased this washer at the end of June 2024 and it was installed July 2, 2024. At the end of September 2024, the washer stopped mid cycle and smelled like burning plastic. It woukd no longer function. I called Samsung and put in a repair request and someone would contact me with 24 to 48 hours. I didnt hear from anyone. I called again and they said they coukdnt get in touch with me so they put in a new request. I still didnt hear from Sansung so I called again on Thursday, October 3. I was told my case was being escalated and i would hear from my case manager, Sonya, in 24 to 48 hours. As of today, October 8, i have still not heard from anyone. I called again and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that I couldn't, only Sonya could help me. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Samsung. Their machines are junk and their custimer service is abysmal. numerous times and as of today, October 8, my case manager Sonya

Purchased this washer and broke down after using literally 4-5 times. This came with warranty but when you call best buy customer service. They direct you to Samsung care. But warranty from Samsung is completely useless. They first sent technician for inspection and pointed out several issues. Tried multiple times to call samsung customer service for scheduling repairs but they will never answer any calls. Finally they sends someone but again does the same inspections and goes. Doesnot really help to solve the situation. Now we are left in limbo. Complete useless piece of junk

I attempted to do a load of laundry 30 minutes after my machine was delivered. The machine stopped 42 minutes after the cycle began. I was inanle to get the machine to finish the cycle or start again. I had to read the manual to get the machine to open up, remove the wet clothes and take it to the neighborhood laundrymat to wash. I reached out to best buy and they sent someone to look at the machine. I was told it's a mechanical problem, not a set up error. I reached out to bestbuy again and they agreed to replace the machine which I only had for 1 week. This was a big inconvenience for me as I had to wait for another machine and I had to go out to use the laundromat in the neighborhood. I also had to make myself available for them to make another delivery Not happy with this purchase

Broke after 2 months, they are coming this week to fix it, but it only lasted two months.
