Amazing for Productivity and Gaming!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An absolute unit! This replaced a triple monitor 1080p setup I have been running for over 10 years. I played games across all three screens so this feels very at home for me. Using this monitor for desktop use is God tier. I've used Dual 4k monitors before but the bezel is surprisingly more limiting than you'd think. The only downsides are that if you don't want to deal with the massive feet that hold this bad boy up, you will need to get a hefty arm that can handle the weight. Also, getting devices to connect in the native resolution can be a challenge. Thunderbolt 3 devices struggle with the output. In this case, you will need to use the PBP mode and split the display between two 4k sources. I have had no issues with scan lines or dead pixels so I must have got lucky!

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor its a game changer not only for gaming but for productivity cause you can have the screen divided like having 2 4k monitor without anything on the middle. Good Miniled Display
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros This is my first time having a 32:9 display. The form factor is incredible. Taking it out of the box, it seemed overwhelmingly large. Pictures and videos online don't do it justice. But after turning it on and using it for a few minutes, it quickly became very natural feeling. The size and form factor is perfect for me. The 1000r curve likely plays a massive role here I've always used 1440p displays, so this is the first time I've ever used 4k. I didn't think I would notice much of a jump, but the increase in sharpness is very noticeable and welcomed The colors, contrast and brightness, HDR are excellent. It's a great looking screen with minimal blooming. The blacks are very deep and highlights/full screen flashes are blindingly bright Cons This will be personal preference, but the matte finish is overly aggressive. There's definitely a bit of a fuzzy, hazy look to it when my lights are on. The blacks turn a brownish color with light in the background. When I'm in the dark, which is mostly how I play, this problem mostly goes away but the graininess is still noticeable. I'd prefer if this were a glossy/semi gloss display The viewing angles are horrendous. I knew this going into it, so it's not that big of a deal. But having someone sit next to you while playing is a no go. They will have an entirely different visual experience. Blooming becomes much more noticeable and colors are washed out. It's worse than my mini led tv The display does get hot, and if you sit close to it, you will feel the heat Also a small con, there's no built in speakers

6 month follow up review
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So first off I absolutely love the size of this monitor. I bought it on release day, fully expecting it to be a little glitchy for the first 6 months until the firmware matured a little. Overall it hasn’t disappointed. Here’s my issues I’ve personally had. I have a 7900xtx in my windows 11 pc, so I’ve been able to utilize DP2.0 or HDMI 2.1 and get the full 240hz. Only real problem I’ve had is with the screen flickering when I used my DP cable. I tried 3 different, highly reputable cable manufacturers and had the exact same result, even with the most up to date firmware at the time. HDMI however has worked flawlessy with no flickering. As far as complaints I wish it would have had speakers built in. And a remote because using the bottom button can be a pain. Here are my likes. The size is amazing and I love it. I had the 49” neo g9 and it wasn’t for me. Just felt too wide and too short. The 57” is amazing. I originally bought it for my sim racer chassis which it is awesome for, but have since moved it to my desktop for general computer work. I like it best for my desktop for productivity and gaming. Doing COD type games I still like better on a standard size but RPG style games rock. Ultimately would i recommend this monitor to others? Yes I would and I’ll likely buy another in the future for my sim rig.

Comically Large and Equally Awezome!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic! It is comically large and worth every inch. I have a small desk at 48" wide and it just-perfectly fits with very minimal overhang. I would recommend having a larger desk with a monitor arm as the legs take up a huge amount of space. Probably my only gripe with it is the legs. I wish it were a flat base instead so the space is still largely usable. It may not be the OLED that I'm used to - but it does a great job getting a high contrast ratio, with surprisingly deep blacks. You will notice some light bleeding from mouse movement over large, black areaa but it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Viewing angle up/down isn't great so you'll want to have vertical alignment situated (monitor arm makes this part easier). Great for gaming and productivity. It's my new daily setup for work and play and I'm pretty sure it has broken me and I'll be unable to downgrade in size in the future. 4080 Super easily pulls 120fps in the games I play with this behemoth of a monitor but will struggle to do so in really high demanding games such as Cyberpunk. I'd heavily recommend bringing dowmthe overall resolution to 1440p for those moments and utilizing DLSS to artificially bring up tbe resolution. Has no problem doing that and looks excellent! I buy most of my electronics from Best Buy AMD this was mo exception. As a Total member, I feel completely covered should something go wrong with this monitor within the next two years but, so far, zero issues!

Productivity Monster!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say that this monitor is incredible. I'm not a gamer and I bought this purely for productivity so I probably don't need many of the specs that will draw in the gamers, but I must say that this monitor takes multi-tasking to next level. I work in the financial sector with massive spreadsheets and can take advantage of the full screen width at times or divide desktop space into sectors to have multiple apps available at a glance. Paired with my additional 32" monitors on each side and this has dramatically made an impact on my productivity and overall efficiency. I couldn't be more happier with this purchase!

Samsung 57” Odyssey Neo
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality is simply stunning with vibrant colors and crisp clarity that truly brings my games and content to life. The ultrawide screen offers an immersive experience, especially for gaming and multitasking. The 57-inch display gives me more than enough room to have multiple windows open side-by-side, making productivity a breeze. The refresh rate is fantastic, providing smooth and lag-free performance that enhances both work and play. And with the sleek design, it looks amazing on my setup. Samsung really nailed it with this monitor; it’s a perfect balance of functionality and beauty. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch viewing experience!

Great "Productivity" Monitor!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a current owner of the Samsung Odyssey 49" Neo G9 (released August 2021), I knew I already liked these series of gaming monitors from Samsung. I decided to upgrade to the Samsung Odyssey 57" Neo G9 as I needed more screen real estate for both work and home usage. I list below, IMO, the pros and cons of this particular gaming monitor, Pros: * 59" Screen Size * PBP * KVM * Mini-LED * I/O (e.g. HDMI 2.1, DP 2.1, et al) Cons * Price * PBP is limited (e.g. refresh rates) * Nipple (i.e. interface toggle/switch) I'm sure there are other pros and cons that I forgot to list but those are what I consider the most important at the time of this writing. I purchased this particular gaming monitor on sale for $1799.99 as an fyi.

What an absolute beast!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is a beast! I had the 49in oled and it was beautiful and all but i wanted the extra real estate. It is fantastic and the immersion from how huge it is with the curve is wonderful! So far only one ussue that when the pc went to sleep it didnt wake up the monitor and i had to do some rearranging to get it back. But i turned that off anyway so not sure if its a thing or just a fluke. Regardless it really is a massive monitor but i love it personally.

Go big or go home.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this monitor when it went on sale before Christmas. I use it for work and the family uses it for games. I have an intel i9 with the 4090 and it looks amazing on this beast. I had the LG 45 Oled and returned it for the bigger screen..Haven’t had a problem plus I have the extended warranty with my total membership

Just get the 57!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re thinking about getting the 49 inch just step it up and get this one. The 49 was way too skinny and made the images look squished. The 57 is a true dual 4k monitor experience!

The way ot should have been
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from the 49” and the previous 49” version to this monitor. Im not a gamer. I like to spread my work out. I work on multiple tasks and access information from multiple sources without clicking around or hiding and then looking for different windows. I always wanted to be able to see a full pdf form without scrolling or a set of plans in its entirety. This monitor checked all those boxes and then some. It is unbelievable how much screen space i have to work in! Easy on the eyes no heat issues. It is really amazing!

Ahead of its time - Fantastic picture time
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying I am not currently using this monitor to its full potential. I own a Mac Studio M1 Ultra which I use for systems analysis and video/photo editing. This monitor has pristine text clarity and great picture quality. Even at a lower resolution than its native one. Because the M1 Ultra cannot output the whole resolution of this monitor, I had to use dual outputs to 2 ports in the monitor and set it to PBP mode. The size and the curvature are really involving and this allows me to achieve better productivity. The only thing it lacks is a thunderbolt display port. That would have been a very welcome feature.

Great gaming monitor
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great monitor make sure you have the room for it . Need to adjust the monitor settings for the color and if you game on this monitor. From out of the box is not that great for gaming on it . Make sure you have a RX 7900 XTX video card because at this time is the only one to have 2.1 DisplayPort . Old games at this resolution is great but for new games I had to drop down the settings in games just to get good frame rate . Also able to get HDR working on the this monitor for gaming .

Best Monitor I Ever Owned
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unbelievably huge, sharp, beautiful monitor. The tech within is so advanced that the majority of graphics cards on the market today cannot take full advantage of its features. Stop hesitating; if you’re in the market for a large, curved, high resolution monitor, you found it.

Great Monitor Marred by QC Issues
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the size and the form factor. The resolution is amazing! Reason for the reduced score is the screen has visible diagonal lines across the whole surface. Just poor QC. Hopefully will be able to get that repaired and then I'll love it.

Multitasking at its finest
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is gorgeous, i use 2 different inputs and i am not wanting for size at all, one half my work computer/games second half my personal PC and they are like 2 32 inch 4k screens which is more than enough space for what i want to do. And if i want the full screen with my PC my space just feels unlimited!

Simply the best gaming monitor.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome. 4k, 240 Hz, HUGE. I upgraded from the 47" Samsung, and the difference in size is noticeable. Check compatibility withbyour video card to ensure adequate data bandwidth .... but even if you run 4k at 120 Hz, its going to be impressive
