Beautiful but poor connectivity

The picture quality is great, but it disconnects from the WiFi at least 4 times a day even though the router is less than 10 feet away. This is really frustrating if you’re trying to watch something live as it takes several minutes to reconnect You do have to pay if you want to use any of the Samsung art but you can upload images from your phone too. The Samsung tv plus channels are ok but they don’t show local sports even when it’s on the local news channels

Thank you for sharing your experience with Wi-Fi connectivity on your Frame TV. This may be caused by a network issue. You might want to go through these steps to check your network connection:
1) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (Wi-Fi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)
2) If the wireless connection fails, connect the TV to the access point via a LAN cable. If the TV can connect to the Internet normally via the wired connection, there might be a problem with the access point. In this case, try using a different access point.
3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test
4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.
5) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

Cool idea but not worth the $$$

Navigation is bot intuitive in any way. The matte screen is great at preventibg reflections and the picture does not look dim from the side loke older tv’s. But you pay extra for this TV due to the art feature. Then thry charge you $50/year for that and to be honest the art selection is just not really to my taste. The shortest amount of time for the art image to change is 3 minutes. Great if you are walking around and doing stuff and just want art on the wall but I was just really looking for a cool screensaver. An OLED TV in this size with a mich better picture is a few hundred dollars less. There are non-reflective screens out there that minimize the impact of any reflections so the matte screen just isnt really worth the extra $$$. Cool TV but the art feature and the matte screen are what supposedly set this apart from other models out there, but the picture quality could be better and the art feature is poorly executed. And Samsungs OS is kind of clunky to use. Sorry but this was a disappointment and we returned it.

Its okay

My Purchase of TV and its Frame

We are satisfied 100%. However, regarding the frame we ordered and returned, we were very much disappointed not only at your late delivery but the weird system that cancellation is allowed upon delivery though its reason is late delivery.

Interesting TV

The matte really takes away from the picture quality. The art is great, so be ready to sacifice movie and screen quality for great art quality.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your Frame TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
3. Eco: Provided to save energy
4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).
