From the moment I finished set-up until I figured out how to uninstall the app, this awful TV show kept playing. Did this straight out of the box. Had to explain to my family why this was on the new TV. The UI is unacceptable.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The tv quality is great but Not even a month after purchase the tv, hardware defective started flickering on and off line appeared through the tv that also flickers, bestbuy wont do anything to help or exchange because im only a couple days over the exchange date, which was only about 15 days way too short of an window for a product like this. they wont budge on an exhange and referred me to samsunge repair which takes forever and you have to have someone come to your house for a repair, i barely had time to enjoy the tv, super disappointed spent alot of money on it and they just dont care about helping loyal customers, when they can easily just exchange,it especially since it was nothing i did and its obvs a hardware issue. I've tried to call and tried to speak to ppl virtually and escalate the issue but they jus had me waiting for hours then jus ended the chat. Tv would be great of if it didnt have the defect, i wouldnt purchase it from bestbuy if this is what they do they can sell u a faulty damaged tv where the issue doesnt show immediately and ur f'd if ur pass the exhange date and didnt want to spend another 200$ for there protection plans bad business wont be buying from them any more.

Do not buy-known picture freezing problems.

After countless calls to Samsung they finally sent out a tech and they replaced the motherboard. The Samsung techs were well aware this is a common problem. After that countless more calls to Samsung tech support. After two months of back and forth it is finally fixed. I have a rebuilt TV, I paid for a new TV not a refurbished one. Both Samsung and Best buy refused to replace my TV. Now that the problem is resolved the picture quality is average to poor. I found I have to constantly change settings when watching different programs. Very disappointed with Samsung and this is probably my 10th Samsung TV. Samsung get better.

Warning

Within a couple of weeks the TV started flickering. I contacted Samsung and they sent a repairman out on 12/11. That repairman indicated the panel was bad and the panels were on backorder. A second repair team replaced the panel on 12/17. The issue persisted. They indicated they now needed to replace the FCC cable and the power supply. I reached out to Samsung customer service requesting a replacement TV. The warranty was current. The TV was only 3 weeks old. They refused to replace the set. Instead the would prefer to rebuild an entirely new set at my house??? Is it too much to ask that the stand behind their products? I heard complaints about Samsung customer service in the past. I have been a Samsung for customer for decades and never experienced this issue. Looks like LG is going to have a new customer.

Also… the Hulu screen ratio is pretty much a square.  I sat for two hours on YouTube trying to figure out how to fix this and there is no fix. Please do not buy this piece of junk. I blew out my back for absolute non sense.

We're sorry to hear of this misunderstanding. If a menu setting is grayed out, this does not indicate that something is wrong with your TV. It just means that a function or certain settings are not available based on the current source, settings, or connections. For example, some options may be grayed out if you are currently watching content from an app or external device. Long press the 'Return' key on your remote to exit the program you are in and go back to the menu - all settings should now be available.

poorly made tv, DO NOT buy geek squad protection

Then geek squad sent ONE person to install a new one and he damaged my furniture and could not mount the tv to the pre-existing wall mount. Cheaply made product and terrible geek squad protection plan!

Dishonest practuces of Best Buy.

Was told that if I signed up for a Best Buy credit card I would receive a 10% discount, so I did. When the bill came, there was no discount. I called to get it straightened out and was put on hold for well over a half an hour then told I wasn't eligible. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was put on hold and after 5 more minutes, disconnected. I will not be shopping at Best Buy again and will tell all my family and friends about the terrible service and dishonest practices of Best Buy.

it failed on me within 2-3 weeks

I'm a Samsung fan. but they should be doing better with their quality control..

Best Buy Failed To Deliver Twice So I Cancelled

I was told by the status line that it was out for delivery on the second date, but finally went to the store to find out it never left their shipping dock. I give Best Buy 1 star for processing my cancellation and arranging for my refund.

Great when it worked

GARBAGE AD TV

No solution from geek squad

Coming from a 2016 Samsung 4K model, this was long overdue upgrade. Unfortunately, that didn’t last long. Shortly after setting it up, the sound became noticeably muffled. I tried all the usual fixes—unplugging and resetting it, as suggested by others who’ve had the same issue—but nothing worked. It was a major letdown, especially from Samsung. I’ll definitely be exploring other OLED options that are known for better reliability.
