    Bad build quality

    After a long research this was the monitor with all the specs I needed. Best buy reveiw were either one star for bad build quality or 5stars with peoole being very happy about it, so I decided to ignore the bad once. First one I recieved had a bad pixel as u can see on the picture. Returned it and today I got the replacement just to set it up and see 2 dead pixels this time. Very disappointed and and wont try another time. For the once who are wondering it has a G-sync in the menu but the nvidia test shows it doesn't work. Would only recomend to the people that would pay 500$ for a monitor and are okay with getting a dead pixel on it

    Hello Everyone, I dont write a lot of reviews only with items which I either beyond enjoy or really dislike... well this one is a dislike obviously with my one star. I bought this monitor back in December right before Christmas. At first, I was so happy about it and was going to leave 5 stars however, wanted to see how it will be going in 6 months... Here we are two months later, Ive been having issues with brightness and also when Im gaming it shows these white dots and kind of lags at the same time. No its not my graphics card cause it only does it to this monitor and not my other one. Ive been playing on my other monitor because you can notice some flickering of brightness on games even basic games like Minecraft. This is a big issue and very annoying.... going to Geek squad this week to see if there is anything they can find thats maybe an easy fix. If you are really thinking about buying this do it at your own risk but I recommend getting an MSI or something more reliable....

    Open box return policy

    I bought this item as an open box before purchasing I spoke with Best buy they said I it has the same warranty as if you bought a new. Had an issue with the display port spoke with two separate agents both stated the same I would have to go to the store return the item and they would ship me a new. When I get to the store they said all they can do is refund me the money since this is an open box and they do not have another open box. Call Best buy again New agent said the same thing open box has the same warranty as a new. I advised her that is not true only way to have a warranty on an open box is if the store has the same item as an open box they will not replace it with a new.

    Mine arrived with one Dead pixel towards the center of screen. Small but noticeable. Also silly for a $700 monitor. Picture quality is also nothing to brag about. My half priced alienware looks just as good. Focused way to much on the smart functionalities that i feel this is no longer a dedicated gaming monitor. Wouldnt waste your money on this.

    Do not buy this "monitor". It has the terrible Tizen OS, and every time I start my computer from sleep, there are 2 separate popups from the game bar that cover my taskbar for about 10 seconds. If I could return this piece of garbage, I would.

    Was very much look forward to this, first one came with dead pixels, and a lines of colored pixels running up the screen every 60 seconds or so. Second one came and same thing. No quality control with this. Getting a good one is like winning the lottery.

    This monitor would be a great monitor if it did not struggle with dead pixels. I have returned this monitor 3 times for a new one, and each time it has had dead pixels. (All within the same weekend) Samsung needs to recall this monitor! There is no reason for this to be happening on 3 different monitors. I am returning and switching monitors.
