I bought this color light bulb for my son for Christmas. He seen mine in an antique lamp I have and he said oh mom I love that So I had a lamp just like mine in storage so I bought the bulb for him for Christmas! Love it

Living in a big bedroom that has six on-the-ceiling light bulbs, I was seeking a room lighting solution that could be more convenient for me at night when I wake up to go the bathroom while saving electricity for the landlord. I have decided to purchase two units of these Sengled Dimmable light bulbs. Each of these light bulbs has its own serial number, so it can be uniquely identified by the Controller. The Controller that I use to control these light bulbs is the Amazon Echo Dot, which I bought separately for about $30. These light bulbs sync seamlessly and easily with my OnePlus Android Smartphone Amazon Alexa app and the Amazon Echo Dot (Controller). I set these two light bulbs as Light Number 1 and Light Number 2. I put them into the same group and I name this group as Bedroom Lights. These two light bulbs are placed above my bed. So when I go to bed, I told Alexa, "Alexa, change the light color to Red!". The two light bulbs change their colors to Red. Then, I instruct, "Alexa, turn the lights off.". Then both of these light bulbs immediately turn off. As I wake up in the middle of the night, I say, "Alexa, turn the lights on.". The red lights come on, giving me just enough lighting to walk out of the room and use the bathroom. Then I ask Alexa to quickly turn the lights off and I can quickly get back to sleep, not bothered by the white lights that used to be in the bedroom at night. When I want to use the two lights for reading, I tell Alexa to change the light colors to White with 100% light level and the bed is bright enough for me to read a book. Since I have these two light bulbs, I rarely use the other four light bulbs in the room and I sleep well. I could get back to sleep faster when I wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. And I could also save electricity for the landlord as I rarely use the other four light bulbs in the room.

I love smart bulbs in general, especially the ones with the ability to change colors… using the apps or voice assistants is a breeze and add a level of security to your home. I can be in bed and if my dogs are barking downstairs, I can tell Alexa or google to turn on lights in the house without going downstairs and if an intruder were thinking of stealing something from the porch, yard or inside the house. When the lights come on and dogs are barking they stop and leave before they can do any damage. I also have ADT security so if I’m not home I’m still safe… but it’s nice to know I can turn on and off lights without getting out of bed or I would accidentally fall and wasn’t able to reach a switch (worst case scenario) I couldn’t imagine laying there alone and in the dark.

Nice and Bright. Great for the price. Not quite as much control and variation as a much more expensive Philips Hue comparison.

If you want a decent led light that connect via wifi and uses Alexa or Google then this is a great bulb. Love that I can change the colors. Only issue I have is that if you haven't used it in a while it can become disconnected from Alexa.

The lightbulbs have been good but I do have issues sometimes with them not turning off when being commanded to. If i ask Alexa to turn them off, one of them will do it and the other one won’t. Sometimes I’ll have to do it through the app and that won’t even work sometimes. The bulbs themselves are bright and I like I can change the color but they can be wonky sometimes.

Initially, it had issues connecting to my gateway, though everything clicked as soon as a reset was performed. It works great when it works, it's nice that I can just call out a color and it comes on, it's been a gas playing with it. My only complaint is that it drops connection on a regular basis (about once a week) so only one bulb continues to work, but everything goes back to normal after a power cycle.

Cool item but not easily set up. Be ready for a headache but once set up they work great. Love the connection to Alexa and color changes.

Bulb is cool, many color options but it often disconnects from Alexa and you have to reset it often to get it working again. It's OK.

I like it! I added it to an up-light in the living room and it's controlled by Alexa. I change to Blue or Green, especially when watching TV at night and it works great! I have heard adding a 2nd one is a challenge but I'm happy with one!

Works well and is fun. Basic variety of white when desired but a lot of fun colors as needed. I have it set up to work with Alexa or my phone and have had no trouble either way. It was really easy to set up with the QR code on the instructions. Even better than I could have hoped for the price I paid. Hopefully it will last a long time since it's LED.

Bought 2 of these on sale. I like the different colors and the ability to control them through Apple home kit. Connected easily. Turned them on and it popped up on my iPhone “do I want to connect “.

I have been using these where's light bulbs throughout my home I have actually purchased a tongue of 29 need a few more they do work excessively well with the Alexa I do Alexa for my cameras vacuums in a few other things but the light bulbs do work very well changing colors just dimming them over on excellent product

So Sengled has been around for a minute, and new bulbs with Matter are made to support any home automation system(Alexa, Google, Homekit). I use Apple Homekit exclusively for my home and apartment and i have the latest models of Apple TV’s and Homepod minis that act as a bridge for all of my smart accessories. I was hopeful that these Matter bulbs were going to work as effectively as my LIFX bulbs, so i ordered 8, but that was not the case. Turns out you still need a specific bridge made by Sengled to make it homekit compatible(another $25-$40). I dont have an issue with WiFi speeds or capacity but i dont want to HAVE to add another bridge when it should be compatible with existing bridges. When i scanned the QR code for the bulb to add it to homekit, it gets added smoothly but then will register as “No Response”. Definitely a bummer and now a reason why i wont look at Sengled products in the future. As a regular light bulb, it has decent brightness but i cant speak to the multicolor features. The app is also not as user-friendly like the LIFX app. Im sure theyre decent but definitley worth mentioning the connectivity requirements.
