I actually had a second Z9D that I gave to my sister and this Z9K took its place. I purchased all three from Best Buy. Both televisions are premium products from Sony and both have a fantastic picture. I almost went with an OLED but I love the HDR pop that comes from having a TV with this kind of brightness. I think the Z9K gives me black levels that are pretty close to OLED and with the extra brightness - I think it’s the best of both worlds. The last thing I will note is the speakers on this tv are the best I’ve ever heard. Don’t need a sound bar but still recommend a home theater system to compliment this bad boy. Sony has been great with firmware updates on my Z9D to further improve its performance and I have no doubt that they will do the same on the Z9K.

Dolby vision is extremely dark even with this being the brightest tv in the market. Massive input lag when using remote and watching a movie Already has flickering lights less than 1 week of ownership Gonna return and get another one hopefully this tv is a one off issue.

It has a lot of features for setup with 2.1 hdmi, upscaling to 8k, and camera included for auto adjustment and connection to my Marantz 8805A, Verizon cable, Apple TV, Sony BluRay player. Absolutely excellent color and brightness with different viewing options- standard, IMAX, cinematic etc

We have had a plasma for the past many years and hesitated to replace it because we care about the rich colors and blacks. We are happy with this technology -- colors are very good indeed. We play some video games but use it primarily to watch movies.

Most of the screen had a green tint. This 2022 Sony 75” mini LED tv is my replacement for the LG. The picture can be seen clearly from the side per my wife and the colors and sharpness of the tv appears to be just as good as the OLED picture in my opinion. All around and feature wise this is going to be a better tv for me and my wife.

Easy to use tv

I do like the home screen and how it searches multiple streaming services to give recommendations. I do think my smaller 4k sony is clearer, but i did go up in screen size from 60 to 75 inch so maybe its just too big for the room. Not sure its a $3500 tv (got it on sale) but it is easy to use.

Sony doesn't use an upgraded processor like Samsung on their 8k panels, so you will also have blurrier upscaling. This TV is not worth the money. Get the X95L instead, which is vastly superior to this TV.
