Many appreciate the adjustable actuation and extensive customization options, although some find the price point to be a significant drawback. While the battery life and ease of use are generally well-received, a few users express concerns about the software and RGB backlighting limitations.

    Very erratic and cheap.

At first, this keyboard was functioning fine, but it slowly started to do weird things in a span of about 2.5 months like not awaken at all after a start up or reboot and gredually just became very erratic. It even got to the point where the C, R, 4 and space bar stopped responding to presses and would randomly input themselves into long strings abruptly until I turned off the device. Luckily, Best Buy made an exception to their return window and allowed me to get a refund. Also, I feel like the construction was very underwhelming and not at all what should come with the $250 premium price. It honestly just felt very cheap. It also doesn't help that the steel series program is horrendous to work with.

    Feels like a downgrade

The previous model felt more comfortable. The new padding is not angled correctly and hurts the wrist eventually. The battery life is absolutely horrible. You need to charge it every night which makes you think why would you pay $60 extra to do more work to power it. The actuation switches double register sometimes at certain intervals, thats awesome too (sarcasm). I would return it and buy a custom pbt keyboard at this point. The price hike of this premium keyboard is a joke. Much like the customization that you get from the software. At least they got a smaller cable, so it gets some praise.

Deal breaker - keyboard goes to sleep!

An ok keyboard but a deal-breaker is that the keyboard goes to sleep after a while. So if I am typing an "E", I have to do it twice, once for waking it up and the second keypress is the actual type. This is not good and would make me return this to Best Buy shortly.

Omnipoint switch going bad after 2 months of use. I have owned just about every keyboard manufacturer keyboards over my past 30 years of pc gaming and this is the first keyboard that has a key malfunctioning. It is not a good keyboard for typing or any type of business but for gaming its is decent, the gimicky little screen at the top right you can live without. At $250 I expected to be wowed and I am just not there. I have submitted a ticket to have them resolve the omni switch.
