Customers are positive about the Arctis Nova 7X Wireless Gaming Headset's sound quality, comfort, and battery life, with many praising its lightweight design and compatibility with multiple devices. However, some customers expressed concerns about the headset's price point and noted that the bass could be improved, while others mentioned occasional connection issues. The fit was generally well-received, though some found the maximum volume insufficient. Overall, the positive feedback on sound and comfort outweighs the negative comments regarding price and minor technical issues.

First off I want to state that these are great gaming headphones. They sound and fit amazing, the bass is pretty wild, the buttons and wheels are out of the way and wont accidentally get pressed or moved, and the battery life is decent. The only issue I have with these is the connection. I bought them for my Xbox series S to replace my Arctis 5. They basically have the same Bluetooth adapter as the 5 but I'm obviously using the adapter that came with the 7. Everytime I turn on my Xbox I have to disconnect and reconnect the adapter. Otherwise the headphones will not connct to the xbox. When I say every time, I mean every single time. I dont know if its user error or something wrong with my headphones. But I rarely had this issue with the Arctis 5x
If the Nova PRO Wireless is out of reach, GET 7X!!

This headset is a great value, and for some, could be a great option. For the sake of full disclosure though, I will state the fact that I myself returned the Arctis Nova 7X Wireless Headset for XBOX, in order to see what better audio and features might be available to me, if I were to move up a few more steps, to the flagship Arctis Nova PRO Wireless for XBOX Headset by SteelSeries. And SteelSeries did not disappoint! While that move no doubt cost me an additional $170, and I was skeptical as to whether or not it might actually buy me any actual audio improvement to speak of, let alone any other feature which might prove to make all that scratch I'd spent worth while. The move up to the Arctis Nova PRO Wireless for XBOX, did indeed turn out to be worth it for me personally, and I will go on to say further that while I have never spent that much on a headset in the past, and never would've even taken the idea into consideration before now. It was my short-lived experience with the Arctis Nova 7X which changed my mind. I figured at that point, that if the Nova 7X was such a large improvement over anything from the previous generation of SteelSeries headsets, and everyone was singing such high praises about the Nova PRO headsets, and their "custom drivers", then maybe it could actually be true, and the PROs might just live up to the hype.... Well, they lived up to the hype, and then some... And then some more!!
So while I returned the Nova 7X headset that I had purchased, in order to move up to the Nova PRO Wireless Headset for XBOX... I can say for a certainty, that the Nova 7X Wireless Headset, was still indeed, a HUGE improvement over any of the headsets that SteelSeries may have released prior to the introduction of the Nova line of headsets. They are amazing compared to my Arctis 9X Wireless Headset. And up until I tried the Nova 7X, I felt that in spite of it's shortcomings, the Arctis 9X Wireless Headset was still by far, the best headset available for XBOX. At least as far as wireless options were concerned. And I am only ever interested in wireless options, as they provide me and the freedom of movement, as well as the obvious clear game audio, albeit, certainly on the borderline of near too quiet to be used. I felt that was the Arctis 9X Wireless Headset's greatest drawback, was the fact that it just barely got loud enough to be considered useable. It WAS useable, if you cranked them all the way up as high as they could go. But some games are more quiet than others, and if you began to play a more quiet game, there just was no way to get that extra volume boost that you would sometimes come to feel you would need.
The Nova 7X Wireless Headset has a "volume limiter" within the SteelSeries Engine Software... So the very FIRST thing EVERYONE needs to do when they purchase the 7X, is connect to their PC and navigate to the Engine, and DIS-ENGAGE this "volume limiter", and with that one power move, you will have obtained yourself new possibilities in regard to volume level that just was not ever possible in SteelSeries headsets before now.
I would easily recommend this headset to anyone who has the money to purchase it, but is short of being able to get ahold of a set of PROs for themselves. And if I was in that same situation, I would purchase the Nova 7X again myself, before I would even consider trying any other headsets from any other companies. And that is just the truth of it, straight up and down, point blank period. SteelSeries has got the official headsets, and everyone else is just trying to figure out how to copy the formula without it being too obvious that's what they are doing... Take Corsair for example, and Logitec. Suddenly they are manufacturing headsets with ski-goggle headbands. You can't knock em for trying, as the ski-goggle headband IS the most comfortable means of mounting a headset to ones head. Other means of comfort options just don't compare to the ski-goggle headband. It's not even close. Not even near close. But SteelSeries is the company doing it the best, and they are the company who I will continue to trust with my Headset audio for gaming, until they give me a reason not to, which I just don't see happening.

I was looking for some good quality headphones for gaming, i had a pair of rig 800 and the xbox wireless headphones, those where god options but i wanted more. I looked at these and did some research and was turned off because at the time i didnt have access to the steelseries engine at the time and didnt like i couldnt tweak the eq. The others come with dolby atmos. I recently had the Rig 900 pro dual. I didnt like those they sounded really artificial and thats with the mobile app eq or the dolby atmos eq. I saw these on sale so i picked them up (i have access to the steelseries engine now aswell) and out of the box i was really surprised with how good these sound. Everthing is there good volume, good bass but not overpowering and really crisp highs for tremendos clarity, which is a good and a bad thi g cuz i felt they were to crisp and they overpowered the bass and made gunshots and things sound ear piercing but through the engine app i put the custom eq to bass boost and a couple other adjustments and they work greatt!! I still am really surprised at how percise i can pin point enemies foot steps in BO6 and how i can get full immersion clear story telling from a game like hellblade 2. I didnt understand why they would make a headset you couldn’t update or mess with the eq settings through console. But i understand now. These dont need it. They work amazing out the box!! Get em! I got em on sale for $149.00. Shout out to best buy 2! They are really the goat when it comes to all things electronic and they’re customer service is unmatched.

This headset is great! Extremely versatile and comfortable. The support band keeps me from getting headaches during long gaming sessions and the ear cushions stay cool. It only takes 15 minutes to get a solid charge!

hands down couldn't have asked for a better headset. Was trying not to spend too much money but also not trying to get a cheap quality headset. This is perfect. Got it on sale for $159. I use it for gaming. Sound is crisp and crystal clear. Super comfortable and volume, mute buttons and wheels are easily accessible. 100% recommend for anyone looking to get a gaming headset for under $200. Also easy to set up and use right away. dont need to download any apps or update just plug in the dongle and it will automatically connect to your console or device.

These by far has been the best SteelSeries headphones I’ve gotten! The audio is crispy clear, the mic quality is amazing, it is comfortable for someone who wears glasses, my ears are always cooled, it doesn’t lose signal like my previous SteelSeries 7P. I can use these on both my PC and Xbox Series X! They’re not RGB but who needs that, I love this headset perfect for gaming, you can also tweak your settings with the software! Very very satisfied and worth what I paid for.

This headset is amazing. It gets plenty loud, its super light weight and comfortable. Simultaneus bluetooth lets you hear game audio and bluetooth connected device at the same time. Works wirlessly across all gaming platforms. 40 hour battery life. Trust me, this is the one you want.

I had this set before and my cat chewed through the cable for the dongle attached to my Xbox. So I had to get another one. I love the performance of this headset for gaming. Audio quality is amazing and I love the ability to adjust overall volume or shift mor volume to game or chat.
These have never failed me and will continue to be my go to for myself and friends!

This headset is like strapping a concert hall to your ears—except it’s for gaming, and it won’t judge your snack crumbs! The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7X delivers crisp, punchy sound that makes every explosion in Halo feel epic and every whisper in Among Us suspiciously clear. The 38-hour battery life? Basically a marathon runner—I barely charge it! Plus, the dual Bluetooth and 2.4GHz trick lets me jam to Spotify while trash-talking on Xbox Live. Comfort’s on point with plush earcups that hug my head like a cloud, though I wish the volume cranked a tad higher for my inner rockstar. Setup’s a breeze—just plug in the dongle and go. For under $200, it’s a multi-platform beast that’s tough to beat!

For comparison to the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 gen 2: these headphones are much more comfortable to wear, especially over long periods of time. Also, if you're like me and have to wear glasses, these fit around glasses much better. Although, the turtle beach has a clearer mic with easier ability to mute. I prefer the Arctis 7x mainly due to the comfortability.

These headphones are pretty cool and comfortable I must say . I game for many hours and the one of positives i can review on is the battery life . If you are charge it then it will last ! Plus the charge time is not as long . Keep in mind i have usb wall ports so the charge time is fast . Lastly , i will criticize on dials , its not a big deal but its a scroll up and down feature so that takes some getting used too. Worth the and its compatibility is a plus too

Essentially all the qualities of the nova pro wireless, at half the cost. Uses plastic instead of metal in some areas, but once it's on your head it performs the same. Easy to connect, great extendable mic with no background noise, excellent sound imaging, and even sounds good with music. The ear cups, side covers, and headband are also customizable with different materials and designs. Definitely check these out

The best headphones I have ever used. The ear pads are so soft you can wear them all day unlike most other headphones where you need a break. The sound quality is amazing and the mic is also very clear.

These are great. The battery lasts a long time and mic is good. The audio sounds great after some eq customization. I replaced the stock pads with wicked cushions.

Great sound, and love that it's Bluetooth so no wires, also zero sound lag that I've noticed. My only two small gripes is that they don't seem to Solid. They seem kind of flimsy, and this is just me nitpicking, but the volume control on them, seen to go really fast. Like you have to be careful out it will be freaky lots in your ear. Usually you can feel some tension adjusting the volume, these i don't. But would still recommend them for the sound quality alone.
