As a father i know this item is probably not intended for me. I am a very busy individual and i should have invested in the wireless option. I thought that i purchased the wirless at store, but i was wrong obviously and im now kicking myself.

For a $350 dollas headset the sound quality is extremely low compared to the Astros A50's, I understand they have a noise canceling but still to low the volume quality for me, i was looking for something really heavy on sound. The nova pro are beautiful headset and very comfortable and have a tons of features you may like but the sound it was a meh for me, I was expecting a powerful sound and i find the sound in the Astros A50's wireless.

These sound great but the sonar software needs to get ironed out big time. Many including myself have low mic volume issues that cannot be solved due to it being on the software/ firmware.

Definitely best sounding headphone I have had in a while. The only thing is the software sucks and messes with my computer. I would have loved to used the Sonar for steelseries but it just sounded so much worse than all default settings. Could be just an issue with me, but be cautious before buying.

Microphone on headset wouldn’t work. Good head set only if you have an external microphone. The software this headset uses is really bad.

For $249.99 I felt like they just didn't cut it being a wired headset. Sound was decent but I found the comfort over a few hours to be a little less than desirable. You aren't gaining anything over it being wired. The DAC controller was nifty, worked as it should but overall felt unnecessary an added clutter to my already small desk space. I would recommend these but just go ahead and spend the extra $100 for the wireless if you must have SteelSeries Nova.

The only reason why these are such low rated is because I didn’t understand how to quote use them, and they didn’t fit my ears/head…they are a smaller headset that don’t seem to adjust to size of head.

These didn't impress me. Build quality felt cheap and the audio left something to be desired. The software is also, as of writing, absolutely atrocious and ruins the sound quality. The included DAC feels pretty premium, but I worry thats all that justifies the price.

I am disappointed. I had a Series 7+ for 6 years until it was just falling apart. I loved it. I have to plug this one in to a work computer that I cannot add the software to and it often has an echo affect. I have played with the dac to no avail. I wish they still had the on ear controls.

It is comfortable, stylish, and easy-to-use. However, i find the sound diiffcult when using right out of the box. I have to change the settings to apply the correct sound even then it is not enough.
