Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the superb sound quality, amazing battery life, and comfortable design of the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headset. Many appreciate its compatibility with multiple gaming platforms and the convenience of Bluetooth connectivity. However, some find the price to be high and the noise-canceling feature could be improved. A few users also mentioned that the software could be more user-friendly and the ear pads could be more substantial.

Terrible internal design
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best sounding headsets I have ever owned. The downside is that they aren’t the most comfortable headset I get poked by the speaker in my ear. The circular thing in the middle of the over the ear piece. I’d say there is definitely better options out there If you don’t want your ear poked by the speaker.

Uncomfortable
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Price is very steep for what you get. Sound quality of games is good, mic quality is not. You will sound very nasally to others. Was very to setup and being wireless is great. Having a extra battery charging in the dock is wonderful and is just a swap away. The main reason i cant recommend these is that there are 2 pea sized protrusions in the earcups for the ANC that constantly rubbed against my ears no matter what i did.

Honest and Fair Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the base station, easy to switch between Xbox and PC. Sound quality is good not amazing but good enough. Mic quality was hit and miss. Make sure you have it set to the highest quality. Biggest problem I had was comfort. These were not comfortable at all. The Noise cancellation has this prong underneath the ear pad that would poke my ear. I would feel it all the time. My ears aches after using the headset for awhile, I play long sessions so this was an issue. I simply think the headset is not comfortable enough, if you are going to buy it replace the ear pads to something thicker so you don’t feel the ANC poking. I can’t justify a 350$ headset needing aftermarket ear pads to be comfortable. Audio quality is great, the software is good, but it’s just not comfortable for me.

Steelseries stopped caring.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They now, by default, require you to download their god awful software to use the chat mixer, something that used to be a feature the moment you connected the headsets. Sonar on my nova 7s always has to be reinstalled because it wont open or it no longer recognizes the headset. The headset is smaller now, much less comfortable, it clamps down on your head like a girl with daddy issues and pro wireless has the awful anc speakers that presses into your ears. The only reason I still have one of these headsets is because I have sensitive hearing and there is little to no hissing/static white noise from these headsets unlike other wireless gaming headsets. The mic sucks btw.

Great at first
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved these headphones when i first purchased them but almost a year into owning them i am not a fan. I have to constantly reset them and even then the sound is breaking up after a few hours of use. The ability to swap between my ps5 and xbox is great but the sound glitching constantly is a major downfall of these

Horrible Setup Experience and Average Product
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.USE: Purchased for Xbox Series X. SETUP: I spent 2 hours trying to get this headset to work, then put them down and waited until the next day out of frustration. The next morning, I spent another 2 hours trying to make them work with no luck. I couldn’t get the chat mix to work. Could only hear game sound, but not other players and could not talk through the mic. I tried every setting, watched countless videos, and read the useless instruction manual that came with the headset. The headset put out white noise, crackling, popping, etc. When I was getting ready to repackage the headset for return, I put them on one last time and everything worked fine out of nowhere. Game sound, chat and mic worked. i don’t understand how such an expense headset can cause customers such a pain in setting it up. Wasted 4 hours of my time. Now I’m just wondering when they’re going to stop working knowing that the headset has a mind of its own. QUALITY: I have been using a cheaper pair of Turtle Beach headphones for the last four years. They cost less than $100. I thought purchasing a $350 headset would be a game changer. Nope. I can hardly tell a difference, so if you are a causal gamer like me, don’t waste your money on the SteelSeries. I’m giving two stars because they work. I’m also giving two stars because the setup process was miserable and I feel there are way cheaper alternatives for headsets of similar quality.

Large Eared Buyers Beware The Nub
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish I could give this a better score, but this headset has a major flaw that likely affects anyone with larger ears. Inside each earcup is a microphone that's used for ANC. They are rigidly suspended directly in front of the center of the driver, which meant that I had little plastic nubs pushing into the flesh of my ears. This causes irritation and, I know from past experience with things that rub against the ear, will become very painful after extended use. Also, a less deal-breaking issue, the microphone is difficult to blindly grip and extend. It looks nice when retracted to the point where you could actually wear these outside of gaming, but I much prefer the mics on the older SteelSeries headsets. The reason I'm not giving this just one star is that it's otherwise a nice headset. I tested the hot swap battery and it worked great. I know the frequency response has been measured to not be flat, but that's not really an issue because I think the response curve sounds good for games. When used on PC, SteelSeries Sonar is also excellent. The virtual surround is the best of the many that I've tried. And the parametric EQ is great to see as it allows for greater customization of sound than a standard graphic EQ. The knobs on the headset and base station integrate with Sonar, so adjusting the chat mix adjusts it within Sonar.

Buy another steelseries....not this one
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Makes me so sad to leave a bad review because i have been a longtime supporter of steelseries. For the price of this headset it should have knocked all fields out of the park. Its very comfortable but thats about the only thing going for it. Its quiet, there is a constant hum in the earphone, and get this, I buy the xbox version and it doesnt work for my xbox. Works on my PS5 and PC and even my phone but not my xbox....and no it wasnt a faulty unit because i traded it for another one and same thing right out of the box....get the steelseries 7

Mic is awful
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound easy to use major flaw with mic on Xbox thought even after research and hours of messing with settings the mic either let all background noise through and the slightest breath would set it off if you lowered the mic sensitivity you would have to yell for it to pick up there was no in between other than that great headset very comfortable

Chat is broken
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has all the right stuff except a working mic for Xbox live party chat. Great battery life and rich feature set, just has a serious flaw with mic monitoring in chat on Xbox. If the "mic level "is set to 5 or anything above it registers constant feedback to party members. Below 5 the mic abruptly cuts out during chat and makes party chat members hear you as if you were using a drive thru speaker at a fast food joint. Tried support and couldn't get a clear answer about a possible software update to alleviate this problem. Had to return. Had such high hopes sadly.

Be Warned. "Gamer" headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So in Short. Very uncomfortable, Sound canceling is non existent. The Surround sound is sub par. and all audio sounds like its coming out of Elgatos Sound Capture software from 2018. The background running software for PC will take up to a gig of ram if your using most of the "Features". All it did was override my sound settings across the board, the program had 2 equalizers running at the same time with the SONAR and ENGINE both running. When I set them on my head they feel cheap. I can feel the speaker edges with my ears and the cups are very very small and firm. Not comfortable after 10 minutes, they wont stay in place and I have a large head, so thats odd. MIC IS GARBAGE My HyperX Cloud 2 Alphas are far more comfortable, actually has 7.1 surround. Mic is decent, and no background running software. Those are 4 years old. So I returned these head phones and bought the LOGI X2 PRO LIGHT SPEEDS, I already have G-HUB for my keyboard and mouse so I honestly should have bought those from the start.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Audio quality is just a let down, there’s no reason I’m laying over 300$ for a headset that sounds like a box tv with no surroundsound Don’t get me wrong it’s a good headset and everything is good about it when it comes to comfort and the headband on top. All except the audio quality

Terrible for the price
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The build quality is amazing, the overall sound is good but it is wayyyy too quiet. I have to turn it up almost all the way for average sound. The box is stupid, I don’t want to get up and go across the room to make adjustments to my headphones. The earcups… idk what ears this company has but they are all too small

||Posted . Pretty but flawed.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not the best choice for a two pc setup with a GoXlr. Made my ears sweat like crazy after about 20 mins of wear. I feel like the new head band is a step backward from the previous pro wireless generation. Pc software is not very intuitive and was clunky at best. No way to get audio from line in only and when multiple inputs are in use the line in seemed dull at best. Would not recommend.

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought to use the simultaneous usb/Bluetooth audio. I updated the firmware and now it mutes USB audio when Bluetooth audio comes in like Discord. Harder to tell if the headset is on than previous headsets I've used. I don't like having to run GG software to use chat volume controls for PC. Previous headset was only $100 and had chat controls on the headset without software. For this price I shouldn't have any compromises compared to a third of the price headset.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked fine then all of a sudden I received the flashing blue led. I tried to repair it to the DAC multiple times without success. Returning. Too much money for this much hassle.
