For my purpose these were excellent. They allowed me to play games on any console or PC and be connected to my phone at the same time. So for games without chat like Splatoon I could use Discord chats and talk and still get game or movie audio at the same time. Volumes could be independently adjusted as well. Sound quality was good and could be EQ'd. Retractable mic was nice and I never got any complaints audio quality/levels. Battery lasted for multiple sessions. Ear cups were adjustable for glasses and and comfy. Build quality is okay to good, they could be tossed around on the couch or gaming chair, but I'd try real hard not to accidentally sit on them. Charging is USB-C. Mine did require an update out of the box, but after that they were solid. These are all around generally good and comfortable. A little on the heavy side, but I could use them for 3-4 hours regularly for a game and a movie ie. They are closed headphones so there is a little pressure if you're accustomed to open backs. Nothing crazy though, and the ear cups inside face is not the faux leather/pleather, It's some kind of soft breathable nylon which stays cool. I have had to reset or reconnect from time to time as I used these on multiple devices, but not so often that it was a problem Mostly on the BT side if say 2 things try to connect at the same time for some reason. Otherwise these have been great and I couldn't really find any other headsets with the same features anywhere in this price range.

Great, easy to use, and a little heavy. Some led lights would make them cooler

Gone is my wired headset for my Playstation 5... finally! I do love Turtle Beach products, including their Roccat line of PC accessories. I've had a few Turtle Beach headsets in the past but most have been wired. First impressions... its pretty bulky and heavy. While the ear padding and head band padding are thick it still is a bit uncomfortable for me to wear for long gaming sessions. Also, I have a big head and the headset does seem to clinch on my head a bit tight. If you have a smaller head it will be much more comfortable. As a glasses wearer I do like the feature where you can adjust they ear cushion so that it doesn't apply pressure on the stems and temples. That does help with the comfort. The sound quality is great, although originally I did get a little bit of static while connected to my Playstation but that seemed to settle down after a bit. I do like the style of headset where the microphone is muted when you swivel the boom up. All of the controls are conveniently located on the left ear cup. Volume and mic monitoring wheels are a bit close together for me liking. I kept adjusting the wrong wheel. Maybe if they were separated by the other buttons. Speaking of the other buttons... there is a Bluetooth pairing button, power button and a mode button which allows you to switch to "Super Human Hearing" mode to help pick up footsteps or other sounds in your game... shades of the Bionic Man! It takes an USB-C charging cable (included in the box). Glad to see more and more manufacturers moving to a standard port. The cable is strictly for charging and not used for transmitting sound to the headset. Speaking of charging, you should get about 40 hours of play time on a full charge which is great but I'd hate to be the person doing a 40 hour gaming session... LOL. Also in the box is a USB-A wireless transmitter which has a Playstation mode and a PC mode. Not only is the headset compatible with Playstation and PC but also Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck using the transmitter or Bluetooth. There is a companion iOS and Android app called Audio Hub by Turtle Beach. It's amazing how much you can fine tune the headset with the app including custom equalizer presets, mode button settings, max volume among others. Connecting the app to the headset was automatic. It found the headset without issues and once I connected the static I initially experienced went away. I've connected to my Playstation 5 and my laptop without issues so this is pretty versatile, just wish it was truly universal so I could connect to my XBox and not have a separate headset. I'd recommend these for any serious gamer... or non-gamer looking for a decent general purpose headset for teleconferences.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback and are sorry to hear that you find the headset too heavy & too tight.

Please know that we get very few complaints about sizing or comfort issues. Due to the wide variations in head sizes and shapes, it's not possible to design a one-size-fits-all headset that will fit absolutely 100% of all users. However, we consistently provide a comfortable fit for the overwhelming majority of our customers.

Please bear in mind that your headset will break in over time, which should result in a better fit after you've used it for a while.

Thanks and have a great day! TurtleBeach

Super comfy in the ears which sort of makes up for the heavy feel but still a star deducted for that only. Cost for the features is average so that too kept it from 5 stars. If on sale then maybe a better bargain. Not sure why it weighs so much but the padding is very comfortable as is the sound reproduction so maybe that is why. It feels very solidly build and looks to last a very very long time so that is good. The software is very easy to tweak and use, so that again is a plus. I like that you know when the mic is on via an audible beep. The battery life so far I have gotten about 36 hours before I feel a need to recharge them, I think the 40 hours is true. Right out of the box was a pretty huge update but once that was over, pretty nice to use. Wearing my glasses due to the way the ear cushions are built caused very little issues on pressing on my frames. Also very little excess sweat in and around the cones. Really well designed, sound quality, software and associated updates and comfort. Cost is a bit expensive though. Man the issues are so many. Connection issues, saved audio presets dont work, terrible app, heavy and so on. Giving it 2 stars because the audio is good.
