Not what I hoped to find

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, I have been debating whether to return this microwave ever since I set it up. On the plus side - I’ve been without a microwave for 8 months, and this is a huge improvement over having No Microwave at all. It’s white inside and has an interior light, which I prefer over the dark interiors that so many microwaves currently have. On the not-so-good side - it takes up a lot of counter space in my small kitchen. Programming the time to cook is more complicated than I would expect. Also, the door must be pulled open from a handle underneath the bottom of the door - and I have not yet mastered opening the door without scraping my knuckles on the countertop. It’s a Whirlpool, so I know it’s a quality item. I do wish I could have found a smaller microwave that was light and bright inside and out, easy to program and open the door, and made by a good company.
