Customers are saying
Customers are pleased with the sound quality, ease of use, and the numerous HDMI inputs of the AVENTAGE RX-A2A receiver. Many also appreciate the powerful performance and relatively easy setup process. However, some users found the online manual difficult to navigate and the remote control less than ideal. The MusicCast feature and other advanced options were also highlighted as positive aspects.

Awesome!!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded to the RX-A2A from a twelve year old Denon AVR-1609 and the 5.1 surround sound quality is 100% better. Followed the set-up instructions and it was a breeze. Can’t beat the price for amazing sound and video quality for under $1000. Very happy with purchasing the Yamaha receiver!!!!

Temporary A2A Is Good But Annoying
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My much beloved Aventage 2000 finally began making popping noises to my speakers. Rather than invest in repairing it, I decided to take an early step in 4K processing. My TV is still 1080p (Panasonic 65ZT) so I did not upgrade cables. No manual or disk. Had quick setup paper and Yamaha Setup App for connections. I do not MusicCast. Ran YPAO. I have AT&TTV, AppleTV and OPPO Blu-Ray player connected. There is no iPod docket. Not happy. *sign* The annoying thing about the A2A is switching inputs. If I am watching AppleTV and switch to something else the A2A will switch back to previous input. This happens with ATTTV also. Would upgrading to 4K cables solve this? Also remote was confusing as hell. Had to go online to determine what buttons do what. Still sound quality is ok as I am using a 7.1 setup. I will keep the unit until Yamaha releases either the A4A or A6A which is what I really want.

Yamaha - solid value - solid choice in AV receiver
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good! Great sound. Easy to set-up since this is probably out fifth Yamaha receiver. The firmware was easy to download. Really like the Auto program setting for TV listening. Remote is large but very functional. Improvement to set-up menu and functions appreciated. Got this as Open Box Excellent so saved over $200. The new USB’s and ARC all working well. ARC worked well when inserting a Blueray. Overall very pleased. Sound and depth of sound much better than 9 year old Yamaha I replaced. Still need to go through a lot more things in the manual.

The A2A for U4U
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The performance is every bit as spectacular as its looks. Powerful output, drives my Klipsch Ref speakers to the hilt, setup works perfectly unlike the Denon I brought back which constantly disconnected from the set up menu. Would definitely recommend.

Good value receiver
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This receiver has a good sound. It has easy set up with average room sound correction program, but it does work. This is a good receiver for the price, not high end but the good for the price.
