Absolutely perfect for us! If you're looking for a space-saving yet large enough refrigerator that will hold food a plenty for 1-2 people this is the one for you! There is a deli drawer that can hold many items ranging from veggies, to fruit cups, pudding and jello cups, small yogurts and granola bars. It can also hold luncheon meats such as bologna, packs of turkey, bacon, sausages, wieners and it can hold cheeses and other small items. I also use it for refrigerated medication. My spouse and I are in our 50's so bending over to clean our old refrigerator or reaching for items on the bottom shelves was beginning to be a back-breaking chore! We were specifically looking for a refrigerator that had the refrigerator on top/freezer on bottom design to save our poor backs! I do want to mention though that we have a nice size chest freezer at home so we didn't need much freezer space at all, but be warned the freezer on this model is quite small, however on the plus size, the freezer does have a pretty sizable drawer that can hold items such as a gallon of icecream, packs of meat, etc. The freezer comes with an ice tray that we have used a couple of times already and the ice cubes are large and easy to remove. Overall, the design of the clear glass shelves on the refrigerator door is perfect for our condiments and water bottles. Also there is a huge vegetable drawer that is clear which I love because it holds a lot of veggies and because we can actually see what's inside. Also noteworthy to mention is that even on the highest setting none of our food gets frozen in the refrigerator. The quality is good and this model is easy to clean using your favorite brand of stainless steel wipes and/or spray. Glass shelves are easy to wipe down as well. A great value with an equally great price tag!

This fridge is perfect for my small kitchen. The esthetic is nice and is super quiet. Because it is slim and tall, I will be able to add a pantry and get rid of the old wire rack I have been using. So, it created space but also fits quite a bit of food. There's a deli tray that is deep and the veggie tray is deep and wide. Its super functional and the freezer being at the bottom is fantastic. The little ice tray with box and scoop is prefect. Definitely perfect for a minimalist, a single person, or a couple. It still works for entertaining a small group.

Very nice bottom freezer fridge, that is 1 of the reasons that motivated me to get this fridge, but pay attention this slim model doesnt come with the retractable/pull out freezer door instead we get old fashioned swing door, with no led lighting at all so it is very dark, overall it freezes nicely with no frost, and since it doesnt come with an ice maker you get a cube tray and container with a scoop. 2nd this is perfect for single/couples with no children, doesnt take up xtra space, u save about 10in. Width and 3-5in. Depth compared to traditional sized fridges, so in return is going to be more efficient, I mean this thing is freaking quiet, so quiet that it made me wonder if it was working or not that I touched the sides to feel motor vibrations and the sides were hot my older fridge never had that issue and it lasted 15yrs lets hope this lasts as long. 3rd and final, was the price, I paid 459.99 on a sale, looking at the features of bigger fridges I think paying 400-425 for this fridge is the correct amount, maybe if they upgrade/update the freezer make fridge 5 in. taller and make fixes to the door so u can grab open from the top too, then it might be worth the retail price of almost 600 they want for(06082024)

Waited over a month to write this review in order to make certain this refrigerator would last. It was purchased as a replacement for a similar sized stainless steel Whirlpool fridge/freezer whose motor/compressor both quit working less than two years after purchasing. LOVE this Insignia Stainless Steel fridge/freezer overall WAY more than the Whirlpool previously owned. Even though the Insignia is slightly smaller dimensionally than our previous fridge, it seems much larger because it is deeper and very well organized inside. We are able to fit more groceries/bottles in both the refrigerator and freezer of this Insignia than the Whirlpool. The deli/dairy drawer below the fruit/vegetable drawer is a nice touch that maximizes space and the butter area a plus. Shelves are all adjustable. LED lighting is absolutely wonderful; trust me, you don’t realize how much you need it in your life until you have it! Appreciate the mini ice cube holder and scooper that came with the freezer; nice touch. You can barely hear the Insignia running and the stainless steel looks sexy. Set up, delivery and haul away services were quick/professional by BestBuy and deeply appreciated (especially as a single disabled parent). Overall extremely happy, so happy that I wish I would have purchased this Insignia instead of the big name brand one that didn’t even make it two years!
