I'm loving this MSI laptop so far. It's been over a month since I got it. I've been using it mainly for work and gaming. For my work related stuff, It's been flawless. I usually have 15+ chrome tabs running simultaneously which doesn't sound like too much, but at least 3 of them run a very demanding CRM software, but those 16gb ram along with that Ryzen 5 have been able to handle every scenario like a breeze. Then regarding gaming, that 4050 is really something else. I gotta say, I've been gaming for quite a few years already, and I recently moved and had to sell my gaming PC which was pretty solid with an RTX 2080, ryzen 7 and 16GB ram. So I bought this laptop as a work tool, in the meantime I built a new gaming PC, but man, it has definitely helped me not miss my gaming PC at all. The 4050 in combination with that ryzen 5 have been able to run my favorite AAA games (dark souls, Assassin's Creed Unity, Sekiro, Red Dead Redemption 2) obviously not in ultra settings (I could, but it drops the FPS a bit too much for my taste) but in high it does pretty well. And since it's super easy to connect with my xbox controller, I take it from the office to my living room, connect it with the TV and have my comfy couch gaming time there. Also if you like shooters like I do (I'm into Apex Legends), it'll be a walk in the park for this laptop. Depending on the settings I use, I get up to 120+ FPS when using the built-in screen (I think I could get more but I don't like lowering my settings that much), but when it comes to shooters, I get a bit more serious so I prefer connecting it to my 27" gaming monitor, which is I guess the only problem I've ran into: My monitor runs at 144hz when using DP, which this laptop doesn't have, so I have to use HDMI, but my monitor has a limit of 100hz when using HDMI, which is still ok for me cause I'm old school (back in the days when 60fps was da bomb). But hey, that's just me. If you're ok using the laptop display or if you have a better monitor than mine, you won't have that issue :) Also, for shooters, the laptop keyboard is ok, but I'd still suggest using an external keyboard (and mouse obviously). If you're a die hard shooter gamer you'll know what I'm talking about :) One thing I do miss right off the bat is the storage capacity, a bit limited, but it allows to install an additional NVMe, which I'm doing in the next couple of months cause the laptop is definitely worth it.

This laptop is very good, especially for the price. I run lots of games like Valorant, Habbo Hotel, and VR Chat. I wish I could change the color of the keyboard lights but blue is cool too. The battery runs out fairly quickly. I recommend others to buy it!

This laptop runs incredibly well! It has a consistent frame rate, the fans do good at keeping the laptop cool, and it’s able to support all of the games I play.
