Purchased our first one for the bedroom. Loved it. The sound is amazing true bass good vocal wide range. Compact easy to use. Can use Alexa or Google. But not at the same time. Went on to purchase four more. You can play whole house or individual speakers with voice command. Wireless. WiFi. Amazing product.

We bought these two speakers to complement our Sonos beam (purchased about a year prior) and get some surround sound in our tv room. Since we have one big room that is our kitchen/dining/living room, we didn’t have a surface to place these speakers. So, we also purchased the outlet cover / pedestals for our speakers. I use the Sonos app (iOS) to add the speakers to our beam and treated it like one connected system. There were some hiccups with the update timing out a couple of times and it took me about 45 mins for all the updates and connections to take. I was not able to find any real good step by step instructions on the Sonos site to do what I wanted, but there were a couple of YouTube videos that I used for reference. As far as a stand-alone speaker I would say this speaker has better sound and bass than our google home mini and my Bose portable speaker (Revolve). We also enjoyed using the system with our Spotify account when we are not watching tv. Having Alexa is also a nice addition. The top of the speaker has nice touch areas to change volume without having your phone. Overall, I wish we had added these speakers sooner as it really changed the dynamics of our tv experience! The bass is the biggest impact that we’ve experienced and we haven’t added the sub yet. I have added the levels that my children say are the best mix because if you have the surrounds too high it will drown out the dialogue coming from the Beam. Hope this helps you if you’re on the fence to adding this speaker to your system or buying it as a stand alone. Note: I only took off a point for the ease of setup rather than the ease of use.

I bought two of the Sonos - One (Gen 2) speakers to couple with the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) I have for my Samsung TV. I have a small 400 sq ft apartment so placement of all the elements was not ideal, but I am very happy with the overall sound quality. I like the idea that I can have the sound bar only playing at times for the TV and group in the two additional One speakers for movies, music and better cable sound programing. I also like the ease of "airplay" from my computer, iPhone and thru the TV itself. I've gotten used to using my cell phone as my "remote" for Sonos and I see the value of that now. I can still use my Roku, TV and BluRay remote independently as needed. I did have to contact Sonos Technical Support for help and they were amazing, Solved my issues and "schooled" me on some aspects of combining the One speakers to the Beam that really helped me understand the system. And a big warm thank you to the floor attendants in the TV/Sound dept of the Union Sq Best Buy store here in NYC for their exceptional knowledge, patience and time spent for all my questions on my multiple visits :D
